Guest Reviews
- Wayne (8/5): The property was a little smaller than anticipated but all in all a comfortable place to stay. - Lovely house. Stayed here whilst working locally. Parking outside. Very tidy property. Nice kitchen. Second floor bedroom good size. Two double bedrooms. Wall mounted shower unit would of been more accommodating. Top bedroom access was a little tight being a loft conversion. We are both 6' 2" in height so that didn't help.
- Sarah (1/5): Absolutely ruined out trip - Quite honestly there was nothing that was a pleasure There was only 1 sofa and there was 3 of us so not enough room for everyone to have a comfy seat.
There was electric sockets hanging off the wall.
The lampshade in the bedroom was broken, also the bed in the same room was broken, the blind did not have a cord to roll it up.
There was a gap under the back door that was approx an inch wide.
The low doorframe from kitchen to lounge was an issue for hitting ur head on needs to be more clearly marked.
The stairs were so steep with no hand rail that my husband had to sleep on the sofa.
Only 1 saucepan.
A lovely washing machine but no clothes line just a clothes horse.
Not acceptable for elderly or disabled
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (6/5): Pleasant - The property was very quiant and full of character. It was all clean and well presented. The village was also lovely too. The beds were very comfortable also The hot tub was only at 20 when we arrived so had to wait until the next day before it was warm enough to use and it then showed a filter error and an alarm was going off when we woke up. I contacted the owner for help who came back very quickly and suggested removing the filter. The hot tub was one of the main attractions for booking this cottage so it would have been good it was ready on our arrival and I presume the filter is required to keep the water clean therefore removing it is presumably not advisable.
- Kate (4/5): Glad it was only one night . Would not have stayed any longer - Location was good .
Beds were very comfortable
Had off road parking space There was no welcome hamper as advertised in the details on the website .
There was no coffee machine as advertised.
There was Food in oven ( a Chinese meal ) left by previous visitors.
The oven was filthy.
Glasses and cutlery not clean , we had to wash before using them.
The Bathroom was not clean.
No bread left
No salt & Pepper.
Only 2 bath towels were left when the cottage was booked for 3 people .
The TV did not work . Everything needed signing into and no instructions left .
Radiator in single room is leaking so cannot be put on.
Shower had no hook on the wall so you had to get cold while you shampooed your hair and lathered your body.
- Heather (6/5): Pleasant - The doors were very low.
There needs to be a stair gate
No wardrobe
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marc (10/5): Thanks for a lovely stay - Really enjoyed the stay, lovely little thatched cottage. Nothing
- Helen (3/5): Disappointing - It was nicely decorated There was a lot of dirt,in the fridge,on the floor and stains on the duvet covers. It is on a busy road and there is a school almost opposite so alot of noise.
