• Colin (10/5): Wow, amazing. Could write a classic here. Relax and enjoy. - It is what it was, and how it has become a wonderful place to stay. Maybe I'm easily pleased, but I enjoyed our stay. I would stay here again, but we live in the UK and travelling to Australia has got a little more expensive due to what is going on in the world, which is a shame. Getting out of the junction from this street to the main road and spotting your turn onto the road in the dark if the road traffic is heavy. This only happens if Motorsport events are on in the area. Which I didn't mind as I was there for that reason too.

• Brück (10/5): Wonderful stay - Allover It was a very pleasant stay! The interior is so nice, especially the bathroom. The appartment is very well equipped with everything you'll need. If there hast to be a downside, then it's the nearness to the street. You'll hear a bit of noise due to the traffic during the day. But it's really quiet at night.
• Sib (10/5): Wonderful, restorative, stylish place - Incredible stay. Howard has thought of everything to make his guests welcome and we delighted in hearing about how he built the cottage. Short walk to beautiful surf beach. You do need a car to get around. It was perfect. The only slight detractor was a bit of road noise, but this is minor and unavoidable!

• Laura (10/5): A wonderful stay - The cottage is comfortable, well-designed and well-equipped for a short or long stay. We appreciated the windows and skylights. The finishes, bed, bedding, linens and equipment are all top quality. Moreover, the location is outstanding - close to Phillip Island with its activities, but also close to gorgeous hikes and beaches. Howard is responsive, caring and friendly. We highly recommend! Everything was great!

• Garrison (10/5): The perfect little retreat on Phillip Island. - What a beautiful place the Poet’s Corner Cottage is! Howard has done a brilliant job with the decor and the photos don’t do it enough justice regarding how nice the place looks. It was comfortable and well equipped and the location was really handy, only a short drive to Cowes, Phillip Island Winery and the Penguin Parade. We’ll be back for sure :) I can’t fault it!

We also enjoyed the beautiful furniture, floor and shower and the relaxing light, choice of colours and materials. On a busy Easter weekend the proximity from the main road was problematic at night. No blinds on skylights.

• Capitaln (10/5): Highly recommend this place for a visit to Philip Island - This property is very stylishly fitted out with modern appliances. There has been a lot of thought and attention given to detail. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. Location was good, just off the main road but was very quiet. Easy distance to go visit other parts of the island. We loved the fish in the pond outside. Thanks for the bubbly Howard, much appreciated. Would give you an 11 if I could! Absolutely nothing.

The photos just don’t do the place justice, it’s stunning, clean and had everything we needed. Nothing. Except our flight got cancelled and we couldn’t spend as much time as we had hoped here!

Bathroom looked amazing, loved the lights around the place as well and kitchen had everything in case we needed to make something. Great storage if you want to unpack and are staying longer, plus great cooling and/or heating dependent on what you require during your stay. Has everything you need to stay at a place. Nothing.
• Beatrice (10/5): Just imagine waking up to the sound of waves and the scent of saltwater and brewed coffee. - The design, features and comfort of the property were excellent, and the attention to detail made the stay so memorable. I will go back! The ability to walk within minutes to the surf beach, which has breathtaking views, is so worth the stay. The property's position provides peace and privacy away from the tourist parts of the island, making it a true getaway. Cowes and San Remo are within driving distance if you need to go. The host and his faithful dog were friendly and genuine. Not staying longer.

The apartment is beautiful and every single detail has been thought of. Howard and his trusty canine friend couldn’t do enough to help us.
