Guest Reviews
- Joseph (1/5): - Hard to find. Tripping hazards, shower doors falling off, check in process was a pain, wrong address, not much lighting on porch, not as advertised,
- Paul (10/5): The accommodations were better than expected and made our vacation in the mountains more enjoyable. - What a pleasant experience. Accommodations were better than expected and the location was perfect, right across from the Silver Queen and Red lady Lifts. Plenty of towels, shampoo and soap, well stocked kitchen, and plenty of coffee! They even had dishwashing soap and trash bags. The only thing that could have been better would be if this unit had a washer and dryer. But all of the other good things more than made up for this.
- Robinson (9/5): Nice town and ski week - Ski In and out No real hot tub! 19 rooms 3-4 people per room, 60-80 people for a 5 person tub. Sad never room to use.
- Gail (10/5): Very beautiful area and lovely condo. Had everything we needed. Would be happy to return. - condo, beautiful location
- Lawrence (6/5): - We arrived at the check-in time of 4 pm and were told the condo wasn't ready, with no estimate of when it would be ready. Ultimately, we were not able to check in until 7 pm! That was very poor service and unacceptable. Think how ridiculous that is!
The description of our unit said that there is no elevator. However, we weren't expecting the unit to be four floors up. Beware that when combined with our three-level condo, the master bedroom was six floors up! We were definitely huffing and puffing. If climbing stairs at altitude is for you, then don't rent this condo.
The unit is nice, but has a lot of maintenance issues. There are multiple things that need maintenance. It's clear that the owners/managers are not maintaining the unit properly. I could have tried calling in the list of maintenance items, but I didn't care to have repairmen running around during our visit (should that actually happen!). Most maintenance items are obvious and the owners/managers should be fixing these things in between renters.
- Janice (6/5): Nice view. - Beautiful view. Floors creaked so there was no getting up without waking others. The bathroom had mildew on the shower curtains and the toilet didn’t flush well. Needs more kitchen items to properly cook.
- James (10/5): - Front door at lift. Apartment clean and comfortable.
- Kary (10/5): - The kitchen was awesome. The bed was heavenly. I loved the fact that there were two bathrooms in a balcony.
- Kathleen (10/5): - We had a great time exploring the town and area. We had everything we needed and loved our condo. The town and people were so friendly.
- Robert (4/5): - Laundry facilities were advertised. There were none
In room or on property.
Sheets didn’t fit the bed - didn’t reach from the top to the bottom of the mattress
No mirror in bedroom (could have hung one behind the door)
TV options were very limited - or remotes were difficult to figure out
Very outdated decor and nothing like photo used in advertisement (wood rot in bathroom, mildew in tub area)
- Karen (6/5): - We were on the second floor, and the stairs just about killed us. It made for some unhappy mornings and evenings. Getting our luggage, etc. in was very unpleasant.
- Lori (10/5): - Great unit for a family. Convenient location and well appointed condo.
- Jack (6/5): Not as good as we’d hoped but still ok - Our stay was ok, not super great. The photos we saw when we booked were not representative of the accommodation unit we received, at all. Our unit was pretty cramped and looked nothing like the photos. The bathroom sink didn’t drain well. This cause the sink basin to become filthy. A wall hanging fell off the wall and landed on my poor wife’s foot while she was chilling on the couch. It was installed with those no-holes 3M sticky things. Also, the upstairs neighbors’ day to day activities was heard very loudly by us. It got old fast! One positive was the deck which could be accessed from the living room and from the bedroom. I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountain in the cold mornings.
- Dawn (10/5): - Great place to stay! We will be back!
- Nilesh (6/5): Could've been better. - First the POSITIVES:
1. Excellent Customer Service, folks at the Front Desk are truly amazing. I'll say world-class guest relations.
2. BedRooms & Bathrooms are super clean, well appointed and has air of freshness. The beds are comfy & nice.
3. We got rooms facing the Lifts & the lively Jose restaurant (AXTELL-419). Great views and free LIVE 🎵 therapy after sun down.
Now the NEGATIVES:
1. Free parking is a joke, VERY LIMITED and hard to find...if you are willing to squeeze between two giant trucks, good luck. I saw a car literally scrape through leaving a noticeable scratch on one other vehicle.
2. Even when you find parking you literally have to trek all the way around and up several flights to find solace. Expert tip: travel light unless you have the lungs of a Sherpa.
3. Our living room couch was falling apart and dirty as hell. The screen door was dusty.
- Daniel (6/5): - The Woodcreek condo was conveniently located (right across from the free shuttle from town). It was clean and comfortable. Parking was free. I wouldn't stay here again, though, because the upstairs neighbors were very loud. I also couldn't figure out how to use the TV in the living room. (Not everyone is proficient with QR codes.) Also, the screen door to the balcony fell off. :( Too many other better options in Crested Butte.
- Natalie (8/5): - The view from our room was amazing!
Be aware you have to climb 58 stairs to get to the room and another 26 to get to the master bedroom on the top floor. There is no restroom on the entry level Overall it
was comfortable.
Carpet was a little dingy and the window frame in the master bedroom broke upon opening it.
Overhead cabinets are really high and difficult to access items.
- Tyler (10/5): - We enjoyed the property being furnished with utensils, pots, pans etc, so we could cook instead of going out for every meal. The porch was really big and the view was great!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Owner needs to spend some money on this place. - The people who checked us in were wonderful. The unit we stayed in, however, was in desperate need of some TLC. The upper-level shower handle was broken off, one bedroom window had a rotted-out frame so we couldn't close it, and there was also water damage. The furniture was torn, and the place needed paint and new carpet. Essentially, it needs a bit of work done.
- Verified traveler (10/5): clean, comfortable space - We had a great stay. I really liked the unit we stayed in. It was clean and comfortable, and met our needs. The style of furnishings may be considered somewhat outdated by some, but that doesn't bother me as long as its clean & comfortable. The shower badly needed new caulk & other attention. It was clean, but caulk & tub were so old and stained that it wasn't real appealing. Again, it was clean, so I was fine with using the shower. Only other downside was the cleaning staff was friendly, but pushy in my opinion. They knocked on door an hour before checkout to see if we were still there. That didn't bother me, as he stressed no rush, they just weren't sure if we were gone. But then I got bugged again at the elevator while taking stuff to the car, asking if I knew how soon we would be leaving. I felt that was quite pushy considering we had not reached check out time yet. I get they had a busy day, but shouldn't make customers feel rushed.
- Rebecca (6/5): - It was okay but dated. Our balcony view was beautiful.
- Julie (8/5): - Toilet didnt always flush. Ceiling fan only works with all the lights on so cant be used at night. Comfortable bed
- Michael (10/5): - Great location and very nice property. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- Megan (6/5): - Amazing access to the lifts to snowboard each day. The unit itself provides everything you need if you're planning on cooking in some meals. I have stayed at this property twice and the occupancy of the unit above can impact your enjoyment of the unit. The floor/ceiling barrier is basically non-existent and you can hear full conversations and/or pets. We were gone most of the morning/day but our neighbors always seemed to be there. :) Otherwise, no complaints and it's a great value for the price.
- STEPHANIE (10/5): - The area was convenient to downtown. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Will definitely use property again for future visits
- Rona (5/5): No elevator for 4 story building is a hard pass for staying there ever again! - Cleanliness No elevator and no help from on site personnel about help with luggages up four floors!!! Also there should be some fans on stands.
- Robert (6/5): Fine - Overall we would say this unit was fine. It was clean and a good enough size for a couple. However, many things were in need of repair. The screen door was off its track, the sliding shower glass was difficult to slide, the sliding closet doors were difficult to slide, tile needed regrouting, the tub needed to be replaced, the kitchen faucet was detached from its base and just flopping around, etc. The unit was also quite out of date in terms of decor and surfaces. It was, although, quite a bit less expensive than other options.
- Thomas (5/5): All in All we were not happy with the Unit we received. I was not what we paid over $700 a night for - It was a very roomy place to stay to stay. The check-in was very confusing, but I blame this on "Booking.Com".
The address they gave me, was not correct.
The address was for what I thought I had booked, but I didn't get the unit promised me.
I received the check-in information email from "Booking.com" the day AFTER I checked-out of the Unit.
All in All we were not happy with the Unit we received. It was not what we paid over $700 a night for.
- Audrey (7/5): Good - Location was perfect, easy to get around. Nice unit. Very clean upon arrival.
