• Thomas 'Muli' Stein (10/5): - die Lage ist einziartig, die Bahnhöfe Shin-Okubo und Okubo jeweils nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Gute Ausstattung, gut geschlafen.

• Efrat (10/5): - Perfect location very close to 2 subway station, quiet and friendly neighborhood and the house was exactly what we needed. There were some workers int he next house working and making noise from.very early in the morning.
• Ari (10/5): Strategic location - Clean apartment with complete facilities. Strategic location close to restaurants, groceries, and the train station. The bedroom and living room are on different floors, and the stairs up are quite small, so it's best to leave your luggage downstairs.

• Anna (8/5): Lovely little gem! - This house is in the best location!! It is in such a fun and vibrant area (near Korea town), yet is super quiet and tucked away. Very close to the subway/JR line and convenience stores. The front door is very hard to lock, and is a two person job at times, to hold each end of the sliding door in place. Also, there were furry friends in the ceiling at nighttime. Despite these grumbles, we really loved our stay. The area is so fabulous and the house is cosy.

Is nice Japanese style, is super clean , organized and has absolutely all you need for your stay in Tokyo. The biggest plus is you get the advantage of how close is to Shinjuku without the need of being right in the middle of shinjuku with all noise. You are lucky if you stay here . Nothing , everything was perfect .

• Luluk (10/5): - The location is perfect, walking distance from Shin-Okubo station, part of Yamanote Line, the main line you will use a lot to explore Tokyo or cities around it. There are many halal store and restourant as well. The amanities and kitchen are complete, I can cook simple breakfast and warm the foods. It has 2 room, narrow stairs, comfortable enough for 4 of us but we unpack our luggages donwstair, no problem. Nothing. For having experience of living in the japanese house we saw in manga or anime was worth it
• Cinderella (10/5): Parfaite introduction à Tokyo - La maison est superbe pour 4 personnes, le tout est équipé avec chauffage (classique et au sol). L'emplacement est juste royal, à 3 minutes de la station de métro sur la Yamanote line ce qui est parfait pour un premier voyage ! Des konbinis, restaurants et un Don Quijote vous attendent dans la rue principale ce qui facilitera également vos premiers pas. Récupérer les clés se fait en autonomie via une boîte aux lettres/codes, ce qui va arranger fortement les voyageurs qui arrivent tard à l'aéroport comme nous. On reviendra !

• Huang (10/5): 這次住宿經驗良好，下次有機會還想入住👍 - 住宿地點距離JR車站很近，附近生活機能良好（有小間唐吉軻德和業務超市），晚上不會有吵雜聲響 這個住宿價格相當實惠，但幾個問題是入住人要注意的： 1.空間高度較低，身高170以上容易撞到門框 2.房子有一個廁所，這個廁所偏小，身體較寬的人上廁所會比較不方便 3.樓梯段差較大，上下需要注意安全
• francesco (10/5): If you look for a perfect Japanese experience, this is the place - Great apartment, well equipped, at Shin-Okubo subway stop on the Yamanote Line, which is well connected to the monorail to/from Haneda Airport. Steps to several proximity supermarkets and cafes, walking distance to Shinjuku, and a 15-minute subway to Ikebukuro and Shibuya.
• Kevin (8/5): Nice property with helpful hosts close to Shinuku but quiet at night. - The house was spacious and our hosts were very accommodating. It's just a short walk to the Shinjuku area and close to the Shin-Okubu station so very convenient. I would happy to go back there again. We only stayed a single night and check in was from from 5pm so quite late. As it happened we were travelling back from Kyoto so didn't impact us too much.

• Adrian D (9/5): Awesome value and a truly authentic Japanese home experience - Great location, it was super convenient, and felt like an authentic experience. The stay was everything we expected and was exceptional value for money I am quite tall. I was not able to fit in the toilet. The stairs are very steep. But nothing we couldn’t handle.
• Elisabeth (9/5): Ruhige Lage in lebendigem Viertel, gut zu erreichen, sauber, schön. - Kleines Häuschen mitten im sehr lebendigen Stadtteil Shinjuku. In der Nähe mehrerer U-Bahn/JR-Stationen. Shinjuku Station ist ca. 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß. Viele Restaurants und Konbinis in nächster Nähe. Im Haus ist alles, was man braucht, es ist sehr sauber und ordentlich, die Matratzen sind bequem. Trotz der lebendigen Umgebung ist es ruhig, weil es in einer kleinen Nebenstraße ist. Für 4 Personen optimal. Es gab nur 3 Stühle für 4 Personen, so dass eine:r von uns auf der Treppe saß beim Frühstück.

• LiChun (5/5): - 地點佳，離新大久保站走五分鐘。床可睡五人。另還有一張沙發可使用。 五人住，床夠睡。但一樓走道不大，只能打開三個行李。樓梯狹窄危險，不好提行李箱上樓。浴室很狹窄，整體房子舊，乾淨度還有很多需要改進的地方。許多地方用簾子遮蓋，有過敏體質的人不是很建議。

• Matthew (10/5): Such a fun stay. Great location - This was such a fun little place to stay in. It was me and 3 friends and we had the best time here. The location was perfect and the house felt so cozy and homey. We enjoyed playing cards downstairs and having some drinks. The provided slides / slippers were cool too. Very cool Japanese-y interior.
• Mikael (9/5): Practical, quiet and central location at a really competitive price. - Nice and easy to use quarters, with two bedrooms on the upper floor, and a living room and kitchen area down stairs. QUiet area, with not traffic, and two stations just 5 minutes away. For the price the location and standard is great, just a couple of stations away is Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro an Koenji, and the local area has the biggest Koreatown in Tokyo. Sometimes smoke from the neighbour came in through the bathroom ventilation, but it quickly is ventilated out.
• Lynn (9/5): Superb - Convenient location, very clean, plenty of room for a family of 4. Enough cookware and dishes for us to cook in. Lots of shopping nearby with a variety of shops. Very good value for Tokyo. The stairs up to the bedrooms are steep and narrow. Fine for young folks, but a bit of a challenge if you're older. Doorways are low for anyone over 6'.

• Joel (10/5): Spacious, clean and quiet - all within 2 minutes of Shin-Okubo Station. - What a magical little place. This is a two-storey, two-bedroom, quiet home close to all the action of Shinjuku. The host was very easy to deal with a prompt. Keys were left in a lock box. Easy to follow directions from the train station, and so much space to relax and unwind from busy days & nights in Tokyo. The length of our stay. If I could plan again, we would spend at least 3 nights here, if not more. Easy access to trains for any day trips and a great location for nighttime activities.
• Vaimoli (6/5): More communication please - Loved the location The lack of communication by the host! No code was given to enter! Saying there was a photo with instructions but no attachment. Had I not had a magnet (that I had to cut out of my bag), we would have been stranded cold, sleeping outside for 2 nights! Otherwise the accommodation was beautiful and a 4 minute walk to the train station.
• Wendy (8/5): We enjoyed staying here and will book again - The location is superb!! Less than 3 mins walk from the station yet is quiet enough for us to rest after a whole day out. Nothing big. It’s just that the unexpected snow made the house a bit colder. But the floor heating and heaters in the rooms are sufficient.

• Cathyv (9/5): Excellent location - excellent location, host was happy to receive luggages from shipping company. the house is not perfect but to live like a local is great experience. we even had a late checkout. house with smart tv where you can login to your own youtube and netflix account. felt like home. No dryer but coin laundry at the end of the street, about 1 minute walk. the house can get cold, but each room has its own rcac unit plus heated floor for the lounge area.

Tall people are at risk of banging their head in the door frames. the kitchen \ bathroom \ toilet space is practically the same 3*4 meters I would recommend the host to make sure that the AC is on before guest arrival. When we arrived it was 35 Celsius outside and more in the apartment.

Amazingly, this place is on a quiet neighborhood street, but just around the corner from a busy Shinjuku street and a convenient train station (Shinjuku Station). The host was very responsive. The AC unit in the main bedroom was broken and our host responded right away. He bought a new unit and installed it the same day.

• Stephanie (8/5): We liked staying here! - Location is great. Having two bedrooms was wonderful. We had all that we needed here and it was so quiet and peaceful. My children woke up each day with new bites on their bodies at this place. I did not get any at all, nor did my husband - however he slept on the couch downstairs because he gets up in the night and was afraid of falling down the tiny steep stairs. At night there is someone who smokes cigarettes outside behind the house. This smell comes into the house if you are not careful to move the air purifier so that it is right in front of the sliding glass door. If you do that, it will not be a problem.

Host was really supportive and made us feel welcome :) Both sliding doors were tricky to operate, as they seemed to be a little misaligned. Some surface areas were covered with decorative tape, seemed a bit cheap.

• Janette (10/5): Perfect location with a home stay vibe. - The location is the best. Within walking distance to all things like subway and Shinjuku main attractions. The house is small but comfortable. Felt like a home. It was cold so definitely need to use the heater. Otherwise it was great.

• Huiying (9/5): Spacious 2 Bedrooms 3 minutes walk to a JR Yamanote line station - Two-story single family house with a small covered backyard. Very spacious two bedrooms in Tokyo standard. Quite neighborhood. Great location, one JR Yamanote Line station just within 3 minutes walk. Less than 20 minutes walk to Shinjuku station, where you can catch direct trains to Hakone. Tons of restaurants nearby. Not very fancy but has everything you need for a family vacation: a washer, a cooking stove with all cooking utensils, a rice cooker, a microwave, a small oven, etc.
