The rooms are quiet, spacious, and decorated impeccably. I’ve stayed in several riads in Marrakech over the years, and besides how beautiful Riad Alili is - what makes it truly remarkable is the care and attention from the staff. Ayoup, Moustafa and Faty made our stay so beautiful and we felt so welcome every single day. Even the owner of the property, Christophe, went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our time in the riad. I can’t say enough great things about this place, I would recommend it to absolutely everyone who visits Marrakech. Nothing
- maite (10/5): - El Riad superó nuestras expectativas. Todo fue perfecto e hicieron que la experiencia fuera aún mejor. Es bonito, cómodo, tiene piscina y un desayuno espectacular. La atención fue inmejorable. Tuvieron detalles únicos: nos dejaron una sillita para nuestro hijo y, cuando se me rompió el cable del móvil, en pocas horas me consiguieron uno nuevo. La cena es súper recomendable: comida casera, auténtica y riquísima. Además, tienen tortugas, lo que hizo que mi hijo estuviera encantado. Solo tengo cosas positivas que decir de este riad. Otra cosa que nos gustó mucho fue que está dentro de la medina, pero a la vez tiene un acceso rápido a la carretera, así no tienes que andar con las maletas por toda la medina. Gracias a todo el equipo del Riad Alili por hacernos sentir como en casa.

- Lucy (10/5): Excellent - This riad was amazing. We loved every minute and would stay here again in a heart beat. So much attention to detail, stunning, immaculate, great location, food was also great and the four resident tortoises were very sweet. Everyone working here was very attentive. They organised airport transfers and walked us with our luggage from the taxi to the riad, organised taxis to restaurants, and brought us mint tea and cake frequently. One evening we stayed for dinner and they made us a tagine, it was delicious. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Un accueil merveilleux et une gentillesse qui est là jusqu’à la dernière minute de votre séjour. Une propreté irréprochable. Nous conseillons vivement les repas ainsi que les services du spa pour les massages. En résumé : une adresse à se transmettre sans hésiter! Rien 🙂

Posizione centrale da cui in 10-15 minuti si raggiungono le attrazioni principali. La nostra stanza era molto curata ma risultava un po' piccola. Ho visto stanze più grandi nella struttura.

- Riccardo (9/5): - La struttura è molto bella in posizione centrale a 15 min. a piedi dalle principali attrazioni. Il proprietario così come tutto il personale è molto professionale e disponibile. Abbiamo fatto un trattamento completo di coppia hammam+massaggio fantastico ad un prezzo assolutamente onesto. La colazione è molto ricca peccato solo non sia ancora utilizzata la terrazza ma il patio. La pulizia è molto buona. La nostra stanza oltre ad essere piccola, ma questo lo sapevamo, era purtroppo in una posizione infelice del riad sotto ad un locale tecnico e sopra la cucina motivo per cui le fonti di rumore erano molto presenti ed anche il climatizzatore era rumoroso, andrebbe sostituito con uno più moderno e silenzioso.

- Stefano (10/5): An unforgettable stay! - A cozy and welcoming riad, in a great position inside the Medina. Everything has been perfect since the very beginning. Youssef gave us a warm welcome at the check in. He took care of us together with Ayoub, Moustapha and the whole staff, which was always available, kind and helpful (Christophe, you’re lucky to have such an amazing staff to rely on!) The Suite left us speechless. Quiet and wide, with a fireplace lit on request every evening, making the atmosphere even more charming. In the heart of the riad is an open air pool, with a whirlpool hot tub in it, always available. The breakfast was rich and delicious. We also had 3 dinners there, tasting every night a different Moroccan tajine dish. The food was amazing. I absolutely recommend it! Very good transfer service from/to the airport, which I also recommend. The riad has also an internal boutique where to buy small typical souvenirs. Riad Alili is definitely the place to go if you’re planning to explore Marrakesh.
- Steve (10/5): Un Riad où l’on se sent comme à la maison à Marrakech ✨ - Nous avons séjourné dans ce Riad à Marrakech pour un séjour mère-fille et tout était absolument parfait ! ✨ Le personnel est très accueillant et on s’y sent tout de suite comme à la maison. Le souci du détail des propriétaires, Christophe et Sylvie, est remarquable et mérite vraiment d’être souligné. Nous avons également été très bien accueillies par Youssef, le directeur du Riad, qui nous a tout de suite proposé un petit déjeuner offert car nous venions d’avoir un long vol très tôt et nous n’avions pas encore mangé. Une attention vraiment appréciée qui donne le ton dès l’arrivée. Encore un grand merci à lui ! La chambre était très propre, avec une magnifique décoration et encore plus belle en vrai que sur les photos ! Nous avons également pris le repas du soir au Riad et c’était délicieux. La cuisine est faite avec des produits frais et de qualité, achetés au marché le matin même, ce qui se ressent vraiment dans l’assiette. 🍽️ Le Riad est aussi très bien situé, au cœur de la médina, ce qui permet de tout faire facilement à pied. Si je retourne un jour à Marrakech, je reviendrai sans hésiter dans ce Riad, car on s’y sent vraiment comme chez soi ! Camille et Christel Tout était parfait !

Petit déjeuner excellent, varié, servi avec attention, dîner varié et trés copieux. Youssef nous a accueilli avec toute sa gentillesse, disponible tout au long du séjour, il nous a donné de trés bons conseils. Une situation géographique exceptionnelle dans la médina, idéale pour déambuler à pied, tout en étant au calme ! Je vous le recommande sans aucune hésitations ! Absolument rien !!

I’ve never stayed in a place where all the staff were as pleasant and kind as here. One of the days we stayed we had a Sahara trip planned and therefore had to leave the accom early before 7 even at this they made sure breakfast was provided. They also ok our first night when we didn’t know much took us to a close store to get snacks and helped us out. The Riad itself is absolutely beautiful and definitely an amazing option to choose for the Moroccan experience! Super close to everything you would want to visit. Nothing.

Il riad è bellissimo, letti comodi, camera quadrupla perfetta e spaziosa per una famiglia con 2 bambini. Abbiamo fatto mezza pensione e la colazione e la cena sono squisiti, cucina di ottima qualità. Gli spazi comuni sono molto piacevoli e attrezzati, le terrazze meravigliose e grandi. La piccola piscina era accessibile anche a febbraio. Ma soprattutto tutto lo staff è stato gentilissimo, accogliente e disponibile in tutte le nostre richieste. Soprattutto con i nostri bambini sono stati così amichevoli e simpatici, da lasciare un ricordo speciale nei loro cuori. I bambini (9/11 anni) si sentivano a casa, si muovevano sicuri e tranquilli anche da soli per la struttura e noi genitori eravamo super rilassati sapendo quanto premuroso è lo staff. Il più bel ricordo di Marrakech per noi è sicuramente il Riad Alili!

Everything is so beautifully done, with gorgeous scents in every room. The dinner was superb and we had incredible massages. The staff including Youness and Mustafa were fantastic. I can’t recommend this riad highly enough, we felt like we were in a five star hotel only better! Nothing

L’accueil a été d’une grande gentillesse, avec thé à la menthe, pâtisseries traditionnelles et même le choix du parfum des produits de bain — un vrai souci du détail. Notre vol était en retard, notre transport s’est adapté et est venu nous chercher à notre atterrissage, nous avons été accueillis dès la sortie de notre taxi et un accueil VIP nous a été proposé! Et lorsque nous sommes partis, Youssef a été jusqu’à faire la circulation pour permettre à notre transport de partir plus facilement! Nous avons objectivement séjourné dans un très grand nombre d’hôtels ou de maisons d’hôte mais nous n’avons jamais été aussi bien reçus. Je ne veux pas spoiler toutes les petites attentions et surprises tout au long du séjour mais je vous assure que vous en aurez plein, et que des bonnes! Je vous conseille de goûter aux délicieux plats préparés par Mariam, ils sont excellents! Merci encore à tous pour votre accueil, votre gentillesse et votre générosité! Merci à Youssef, Ayoub et Mustapha pour leur gentillesse et leurs précieux conseils, leur disponibilité et leurs attentions. Merci à Christophe et Sylvie pour leur accueil et le partage de l’histoire du Riad! En nous accueillant au Riad, Mustapha nous a dit: « Soyez les bienvenus chez vous, soyez les bienvenus au paradis! » Cette phrase résume parfaitement ce lieu! Rien, tout était parfait.
- Kate (10/5): An exceptional Riad experience from start to finish. - Rooms were tastfully decorated in traditional Moroccan style and beautifully equipped with wonderful attention to detail. Having the luxury of choosing the fragrance of the shower amenities in the room was a first for me and there were delicious traditional biscuits and nuts left in the room daily which delighted us all. The breakfast was truly a banquet with so much to choose from and every staff member made a huge effort with the children and treated us all like royalty. The terraces and the pool were stunning and the hot tub was a welcome treat after a day wandering around the souks. Having a real fire in the rooms also added to the magical ambiance of Riad Alili. Christope, Sylvie and their whole team were so welcoming, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious and generous. The bedroom, "public" rooms and roof terraces were all beautifully designed, full of charm and local character, and always immaculately clean. The riad and all of the people were a delight! The only disappointment was having to leave. We had felt so comfortable in our Marakech "home", it was sad when it was time to head for the airport.
- Petra (10/5): Ein absolutes Kleinod und eine Oase der Ruhe in Marrakesch - Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt. die Kommunikation war perfekt. Uns wurde ein Parkplatz 3 Minuten Fußweg vom Riad entfernt benannt. (Umgerechnet 35 € für drei Nächte). Dort wurden wir abgeholt und unglaublich freundlich im Riad mit Tee und Gebäck begrüßt. Das uns zur Verfügung gestellte Zimmer großzügig bemessen, verfügte über eine Badewanne mit Duschfunktion, tollen Pflegeprodukten, deren Duft wir selbst bestimmen konnten, Kaffee und Teezubehör, eine größere Auswahl an Handtüchern und Bademäntel. Auch ein Föhn lag bereit. Der im Raum befindliche Kamin wurde abends angeheizt und ergab eine sehr gute Wärme, wenn gleich auch eine starke Rauchentwicklung. Das Frühstück war fantastisch mit Obstsalat, frischgepresstem Orangensaft, Crêpes, Eier, Brot und Marmeladen sowie auf Wunsch, Tee oder Kaffee. Das Abendessen wurde frisch zubereitet auf Wunsch auch vegetarisch. Das Riad liegt fußläufig von den Souks entfernt, sowohl der Königspalast als auch der Jardin Majorell sind in circa 20 Minuten Fußmarsch zu erreichen. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, umsichtig , höflich, einfach perfekt. es war sowohl tagsüber als auch in der Nacht absolut ruhig. Die Nächte im Januar sind noch sehr kalt, so dass man sich über ein vorgewärmtes Zimmer freut. Leider funktionierte die kombinierbare Heizung/Klimaanlage nicht zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit, es wurde nicht richtig warm, aber es gab einen kleinen Radiator, der seine Dienste tat. Zum Glück standen Wolldecken für die Nacht bereit. also alles kein großes Problem. Vielleicht nur ein kleiner Hinweis ……ebenso der Hinweis auf die starke Rauchentwicklung durch den Kamin. Vielleicht ist der Schornstein defekt?

The Riad was clean and comfortable, just like staying at home. The Riad was difficult to book, we want to book 3 nights but can only book 2 only.

- Viňanská (10/5): We definitely reccomend stay in Riad Alili and we will definitely like to come again in future. - We were welcome so warmly by Ayoub even thought it was a late evening check in. At the room there were some suprises like bowl of nuts and small treats of local sweets. Also chef Miriam prepared us beautiful dinner late at night. Breakfast in Riad Alili might be the best breakfast in our two weeks stay in Morocco. All stuff which we met during our stay were amazing and really helpful. We asked for advices for trips and so and they went extra mile to help us. Two terrace had amazing views where we were enjoying sunset. Honestly, there was not a lot that we haven’t liked, but if we need to choose 1, maybe the arrangement of eating outside the room near the pool. That's why our son couldn't use pool before 11am. Also, there are sitting arrangements right in front of each room, so sometimes there were other visitors sitting in front of our room and having a dinner.

- Monika (10/5): Great stay and would be back - Riad is very cozy as well as in the great location . There is many fruit stall just a few minutes walk. Staff is very welcoming and helps with anything you need . One of the best parts about this riad is the food - the best food we had in Marrakesh was inside the riad. So def order dinner , our favourite was orange chicken. Two turtles walking around adds a nice touch, my kids loved it .

- Vieira (10/5): Hospitalidade - Fomos muito bem recebidos no riad, senti me como se fosse recebida por família. Os funcionário são muito atenciosos. Tudo muito limpinho e organizado. Quero agradecer ao Youssef e ao Mustapha pela hospitalidade e quando tive um problema de saúde ajudaram logo com prontidão. Um lugar sossegado, um oasis no meio da caos que muitas vezes é em Marraquexe. A piscina é boa para refrescar assim como o jacuzzi. O pequeno almoço é muito bom. Ainda tivemos um pequeno presente (lembrança) no check out. Sem dúvida que se voltar a Marraquexe esta será a minha primeira opção. Nada.
