Guest Reviews
- Marjolein (7/5): Comfortable but pity about the car park view. - The property was well kitted out and comfortable for a long weekend. Close to a beach and good for walks along the cliff. Property overlooks Car park right in front of it. This didn’t make the property feel very secluded, it made us feel a bit like we were in a goldfish bowl with everyone looking at us when they walked past. There weren’t so many cars at the time of year we went, but in high summer when the carpark is full, you would have cars parked directly in front of you and any view would be gone. Great pity.
It was also much more expensive than other properties in the area.
- ELEANOR (8/5): - Excellent space, ideal for short stay. Overall very good amenities and comfortable lodgings. Comfortable beds and power shower! Good parking and internet. The kettle is broken and pours water everywhere so not suitable for use. No small oven dish. Some limescale build up in shower head and kettle.

- Sophia (10/5): What a gem - The most perfect seaside home. Easy to book and great communication. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom with walk in shower.
The view was stunning with the sounds of the waves crashing was relaxing.
- Lee (8/5): We went during the off season so very quiet but it’s a great cabin in a lovely spot, perfect for couples or families wan - Great spot on the coast with lovely views Nothing
- Sara (10/5): A must visit for tranquill/ peaceful time away! - This place was just what we needed a very relaxing and peaceful location. Ben was very helpful with any questions we had, too. The little touches at the chalet made this stunning place by the beach stand out. We will definitely come again :) Nothing

- Joanna (9/5): Perfect for what we had intended - walks on the south Coast Path East & West - It was exactly like the photos. Bright, airy also well insulated. Hardly used the heating at all. There was nothing I didn’t like except the pub had closed so we were a bit limited where we could eat locally. The local cafe was great for one breakfast but wasn’t open the next 2 x days - presumably because we were into off season, however great food and nice people.
- Michael (10/5): Very relaxing - Loved the continuous sound of crashing waves
Sea air and very quiet
The staff ( very friendly ) and food at the nearby hotel , within walking distance Car park in front , but never busy
- Lawrence (10/5): A very comfortable, peaceful and relaxing stay on the glorious Dorset coast. - The chalet is very well equipped, tastefully designed and comfortable. The view from the terrace across the sea and cliffs is beautiful, especially in the glorious sunshine, and access to the beach is easy. We also appreciated the large sun parasol provided. The narrow, twisting road leading to the chalet park is a challenge, but once on the main roads, Bridport, etc, are close by for restaurants, markets, etc. It would have been nice to have higher, more comfortable chairs on the terrace, to see the views to the sea, rather than just the picnic bench. The deckchairs and beach chairs provided are too low for that purpose.
- Melanie (10/5): Had a lovely stay at this beautiful beachside chalet - Lovely accommodation in a great, peaceful location Wouldn’t like to get down the lanes in peak season with lots of traffic around
- Jonathan (10/5): Fantastic few days in Eype - We absolutely loved our stay at this chalet and felt at home as soon as we arrived. Warm & cosy with lots of natural light, relaxing decor with a seaside feel and extremely well equipped kitchen plus very good bathroom and two stylish bedrooms.
Waking up in the morning and opening the doors to see and hear the sea made this place very special - as did sitting out on the deck in the evening with a glass of wine as the sun set behind the cliffs. Located right on the south west coastal path, it is great for invigorating walks - we walked into West Bay one day and up to Golden Cap another day. The views are out of this world and we were so lucky with the weather.
Can highly recommend the Anchor pub at Seatown and the café at Symondsbury for lunch, followed by a walk through the mysterious ‘Holloways’.
As other reviews have mentioned, there is a car park is directly below the property so it may have a car parked in front of it but it certainly didn’t impact our stay and there is no overnight parking allowed.
We hope to come back to this very special place one day.
- Maria (9/5): We had a very enjoyable stay and would love to stay again. - It was very clean and tastefully decorated. The road to the property is very narrow only suitable for single traffic.
- Jane (10/5): Even better than expected! - Beautiful holiday home which is tastefully kitted out with quality fixtures and fittings, we especially appreciated having such comfortable beds. The location is great, although the road to get to it is slightly hair-raising, especially in the dark.
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (10/5): Lovely property in a fantastic location. -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (10/5): GREAT STAY AT EYPE -
