• Alexandra (10/5): Sehr schöne, ruhige und gut ausgestattete Unterkunft in Lari mit herzlichen Gastgebern – ideal, um die Toskana zu erkund - Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Lari sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig in dem schönen Ort und ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um die Toskana zu erkunden. Das Haus ist sehr schön, gemütlich eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber: sehr herzlich, aufmerksam und immer hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum willkommen gefühlt und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen.

• Simon (10/5): Warmherziger Entpannungsurlaub in toller Lage. - Sehr schöne Lage, ganz in der Nähe ist der kleine Ort Lari gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Dort kann man sehr gut essen gehen und kleinere Erkundungstouren machen. Giulia und Andrea, die Inhaber des Appartements, sind fantastisch. Sie haben uns super Tips für die Umgebung gegeben und sich ganz toll um unser Wohlbefinden gekümmert. Wer einen ruhigen Ort zum abschalten und entspannen sucht, aber trotzdem die Option haben möchte, die vielbesuchten Städte wie Florenz etc. zu erkunden, ist hier genau richtig. -

• Peter (10/5): jednoducho Toskánsko - Lokalita je úchvatná, ubytovanie je na konci vedľajšej cesty, teda ticho a pokoj. Wifi bolo OK, ubytovateľka nás čakala, bola milá, poradila nám kde sa dobre najesť a čo pekné si v okolí pozrieť v nami objednaných priestoroch nebola televízia, na druhej strane to však znásobilo pocit ticha a pokoja- takže vôbec nám TV nechýbala. Zrejme je to zámer ubytovateľa

• Monica (10/5): The perfect Tuscan Experience - La Tonnaia was the perfect place for our small family during our summer vacation. A very quiet place, with a wonderful terrace and such a lovely and welcoming host! Giulia and her family were always open to our needs and questions, we had such good recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants from them. Our daughter had a very good time playing in the garden and in the tree house and didn't want to leave la Tonnaia in the end ☺️ our expectations were topped out, thank you!

• Sue (8/5): Lovely property for our overnight stay with an authentic Tuscan restaurant just a few steps away. - Newly renovated old farm building, comfortable bedrooms with some antique furniture to add interest. Well equipped kitchen and good bathrooms. Situated on the edge of the small hilltop town of Lari which has several restaurants, shops and the old castle to explore. Giulia our host was very welcoming and helpful. Limited outdoor space. There is a place for eating outside but not really anywhere to relax with a book for example, as guests’ cars are parked close to the property.
• Eylül (9/5): If I am ever around again, I know where to stay - Giulia and her family are amazing hosts, very sincere and kind. They accommodated all our last minute requests and have been always very positive. The apartments are very well decorated and fully equipped. The location is walking distance to the center of Lari and in the middle of an amazing nature.
• Tiina (10/5): three wonderful days in a beautiful village - A beautifully decorated and renovated apartment is a real gem. The bakery car visits the apartment daily (afternoon). You can buy bread and sweet pastries for breakfast or dinner. The kitchen is well equipped. Giulia is a great hostess. The beutiful village of Lari is within walking distance. There is exellent restaurants and a bar. There is also a famous artisan pasta maker in the village. The Martelli family has been making excellent pasta since 1926. It's worth going to see how pasta is made and buy some pasta. This apartment is good for trips around Tuscany. Nearby you can find the Piaccio museum, several secondhand shops and large grocery stores are few kilometers away from apartment. -

• Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at Tonnaia, was anything but amazing. The host Giulia was beyond accommodating, we called to ask for local babysitters for our 2 months old son to go out for a few hours to enjoy Andrea Bocelli's concert. She was the kindest to offer to watch him herself. Her energy and her kind heart when we meet put us at ease to enjoy a few hours away and to enjoy the concert in calm. The apartment's cleaniness was top and we had all we needed. We will definitely return.
• Simon (10/5): Purrfect 😻 - We were met by an exceptionally helpful and friendly host on our arrival. The former farmhouse is located at the end of a private road and super quiet. On arrival we were greeted by a pack of the cutest kittens imaginable that made our cat that we were allowed to bring along feel right at home. The appartment is much much nicer than what one usually finds in a B&B. Spacious and equipped with anything one could ask for in a very cute cottage style. Especially the carefully assembled furniture is very pleasing on the eyes. A private patio a huge yard under trees adjacent to the olive trees made sitting outside at night a bliss. The windows have insect screens and the beds are comfy and everything is clean. The nearby town Lari (10min footwalk) is super cute and home to a small family run pasta manufacturer and has lots of culture to offer given its small size. Even in July it has not many tourists and is quite quiet. You'll find a bakery, a nice butcher and several stores to get daily necessities should you choose to buy some local snacks and wine for the evening patio hours or in case you choose to cook for yourself as the host does not offer meals. There are also a couple nice bars and restaurants that are also frequently visited by locals. We arrived with an electric car and found two (EnelX) charing places (15kW). One about 5min footwalk with two charging points from La Tonnaia and the other right in the Town Lari itself. Super practical. There is a public pool located right behind the house that no one was using during our time but is super nice to cool off. La Tonnaia is perfectly located between Pisa, Florence, San Giminaga and a bunch of other beautiful Italian towns worth visiting. Did I mention the Piaggio factory nearby that features a great (and free) Piaggio/Vespa/Moto Guzzi museum? Restaurants such as the Merlo in Casciana Terme or Lo Scopiccio in Perignano are also worth a visit. To sum it up, highly recommended. The temperatures and humidity were very high during our stay. As our cat was trying to mess with the insect screens at night so we could not easily get fresh air in our room. In this rare case an A/C would have been a luxury.
