- Beena (9/5): We booked as an extra night stay after spa, perfect for a girl night in, netflix, drinks and chill. - Well presented and cosy. everything was great, would have been nice to have some sugar or UHT milk in as they had tea and coffee available.
- Thomas (9/5): Lovely cottage near Cannock Chase - Great location for doing some Mountain Biking. Our host was really helpful and accommodating with some great local knowledge. Great facilities in the village, a small shop nearby and a solid local pub. Some challenges with the tech in the house but the host is already sorting it based on our feedback.
- Darren (9/5): Ideal overnight stopover - Well located Nothing
- William (10/5): - Easy
- Sian (10/5): - Great location, easy to find, everything you could need provided
- Leyla (10/5): -
- Steven (10/5): 5 star cottage stay - Lovely cosy cottage with log burner and hot tub. The host Alan was very friendly and made us all feel very welcome. It's was very spacious and comfortable, we had our three young kids with us (1, 3 and 4) and they loved the place. Alan even left some toys out for them. Liked everything
- Natasha (10/5): My family had an amazing time celebrating my son’s 13th birthday. The owners of the property were wonderful and extremel - I loved how comfortable it was, we had everything we needed. It had a hot tub which was greatly enjoyed by my family. There was nothing that I didn’t like.

Clean good price location Nothing not like
- Lisa (6/5): Great location for wedding venue. - Great location for wedding venue we were attending.
Quite surrounding area.
Good parking outside property
Hot tub but to cold to use it. No heating throughout cottage, was informed by owner he had been on holiday ? Wasn’t sure why not working.
Had 2 small heaters supplied but not enough to heat house, owner aware property is a cold house as stated, but hive thermostat did not boost or start heating.
No hot water, shower not warm disappointing as we had to have cold showers in a cold house.
TV hit and miss internet connection not good channel went in frozen mode.
Dishwasher not working very worn inside ? Start button not working.
- Kym (10/5): A must stay if in the area! - A brilliant host and gorgeous property
- Karla (10/5): Perfect overnight stay for family of 4 - Everything. Comfortable bed and covers, lots of games for the kids, everyone enjoyed the hot tub & all utensils and cooking supplies were available to cook a meal. 10/10. Nothing. Anybody that complains about this property just likes to complain! :)
- Chloe (10/5): Lovely weekend break - Lovely cottage, quite well equipped kitchen for a short break. Very clean. Excellent location near some beautiful walks. Close proximity to the pub. Lots of shops and places to eat within a short drive. The only negative was the sofa, it was very small and not the comfiest. We only had 3 adults and a baby with us, but can't imagine 4 adults and 2 kids (that the rest of the property would comfortably hold) sharing that sofa. This did not stop it being a lovely break for us, as we didn't stay in much but just something to consider for the future.
- Rod (9/5): Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, lovely property - No TV
- Jamie (10/5): -
- Jade (9/5): Fantastic stay with great hosts. - Fantastic stay at this beautiful little cottage. The owner greeted us and had sorted a cot and toys for the little one which was a really thoughtful touch. Really comfy bed and clean throughout. Spa shop just around the corner which was really useful and pub just down the road for dinner. Absolutely recommend for a great stay. Needs another seat in the lounge area as we were all a bit cramped sitting on the one sofa. That's the only issue, not that it was a big one.

- David (10/5): -
- Luci (8/5): A lovely place to stay with a very helpful host, thank you - A lovely property in a gorgeous area. We were only 40 minutes away from Alton Towers and One Jubilee Cottages was just right for our overnight stay
- Eilin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (7/5): Good -
- Patricia (10/5): Comfortable Overnight Stopover. - Perfect for an overnight stay en route to home in Herts. Very comfortable, had everything we needed, tasteful decor and friendly owner who was very helpful. Could happily have stayed longer. Nothing.
- Nicola (7/5): Overall a lovely place to stay, could be amazing with a few tweaks but would stay again - Location is great. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely outdoor space. Shop very nearby for essentials.
Character of property - ie beams and wood burner.
Owner very approachable and quick to respond to queries. Parking directly outside. Hot tub wasn't available sadly, the owners were away themselves and not able to set up. We had not realised until a few days before our booking that this needed to be booked (and paid for) separately. The listing implies it would be running/included.
Owner does not make it easy for guests to keep tidy/clean. No hoover, small amounts of cleaning products (eg shower cleaning spray - nearly empty, single dishwasher tablet, single tea towel). No bins anywhere other than kitchen.
Stairs were difficult to navigate if you have back issues, plus slight variances in floor levels.
Towels provided could be softer/better quality.
- Kyrus (10/5): Comfy and clean - Beautiful decor and very comfy Nothing
- Julia (10/5): Lovely cottage, highly recommend - Spotlessly clean, quiet, beautifully decorated and hosts communicated really well. Highly recommend.
- Joanne (9/5): Superb - Lovely cottage in a nice village, it was spotlessly clean and hosts were very helpful.
- Diane (9/5): Gorgeous cottage. - Beautiful Cottage obviously loved by the owner. Perfect for our one night stay. Mmmm can’t think of anything. Oh yes instructions for the hob might be handy.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Really lovely one night stay. I would love to come back and stay longer! - It’s so nice when somewhere is unexpectedly lovely. Perfect for us - just an overnight stay on the way to Alton Towers. The mums enjoyed the hot tub in the rain! Lovely place which had everything we needed. Friendly host too. Many thanks Nothing to not like!
- Keely (10/5): Would 100% recommend this property - Loved the cosy cottage feel Was a lovely touch to have tea coffee sugar but even better if they’re was sachets of milk to go with them.
- Catrina (8/5): Very pleasant - Friendly host, really lovely location and well equipped.
- Vlb966 (10/5): Comfort Away From Home - Comfortable and Clean, Good Communication, Easy to Contact and very accomodating. Good location and quiet.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely clean property, close to local shop and pub Host next door is an uncomfortable thought but didn't hinder our short stop over
- Jane (9/5): Lovely relaxing stay with friends -
- Karen (9/5): Great cottage in village location. - Great cottage with everything we needed for a one night stay. Lovely village location with walks along the canal and over into Shugborough. Minutes from Cannock Chase by car. Bonus lovely little garden to sit and have breakfast etc on a nice day. Everything was perfect for us a party of 3 adults. If 6 people staying maybe another chair in lounge might be useful. But for us would definitely stay again when visiting family in the area. Thank you.
- Ron (9/5): Superb -
- Cee (9/5): Charming well equipped cottage - Excellent overall. Would recommend for family. Worth extra for hot tub. Very minor observations: shower could be warmer and hob not brilliant.
- Claire (7/5): A lovely small house for a break away with friends - The cottage has been decorated to a high standard, it was very clean, there was wood in the stove ready for us. The hot tub had been set up for us and there were towelling robes for each of us. A lot of the cupboard doors in the kitchen wouldn't open so we couldn't put our food away and the bin was in the utility room rather than the kitchen. There wasn't a bathroom bin or bath mat and with a tiled floor in a wet room it did get quite slippery.
- Coral (10/5): Everything we needed plus a hot tub! Just fantastic! - Fantastic property! Great location for Alton Towers. An added bonus of a hot tub! Which went down a treat for the kids. The property had everything we needed for it to feel like a home from home, yet extras to make it feel like a break away. The beds were super comfy as was the quilt and pillows! For me that's so important so I was incredibly happy with that!
Traveled with 4 teens who loved it too and have asked to stay again when next visiting!
Shop a couple doors down (I got in my car to drive and it really is just a couple doors down)
Great communication and a lovely host. 10/10 all round!!
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location for an overnight stay for a family of 5 travelling. N/A
- Paige (8/5): Great 1 night stay for a family. - Very friendly hosts - love the robe and slippers The property was quite cold
- Chloe (7/5): Overall a wonderful stay! Would highly recommend. - - The Parking was very good we took three separate cars and managed to fit them all on the drive. There is also space located around the cottage for extra parking if needed.
- Beautiful interior throughout the whole cottage!
- Great communication with the property owners and they knew we was taking three little toddlers so they where very helpful with leaving a travel cot, high chair and toys etc out for us.
- About 35 minute drive to Alton Towers which is why we chose this location as we went to CBeebies World.
- Overall a lovely stay and a lovely cottage! - The shower doesn’t go that hot it is luke warm and the downstairs kitchen sink kept going hot and cold. The shower is big and powerful just the temperature of the shower was not great.
- Downstairs radiators aren’t very warm / the owners do have a log fire and little plug in heater to help warm downstairs up but with three toddlers we could not use the log fire and then the little heater wasn’t very powerful. We also noticed the Hive was set to come on and off at certain times so when we tried to turn the heating on to heat upstairs it went off quickly and didn’t work very well due to it being set to certain temperatures at certain times that we couldn’t adjust.
- Vanessa (7/5): Nice stay - Good location. Friendly owner who allowed us in early day of booking. Lovely bedrooms. It was cold downstairs, heating took a long time to kick in. Fire wood only lasted 30 minutes.
- Caroline (9/5): Thank you for a lovely stay.great comms - Very clean and comfortable Could do with better pillows on the bed - very skinny.
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keira (10/5): Lovely and quirky, would stay again for sure - Was in a great location for our needs, had everything we needed
- Jane (8/5): Very good -
- Andrea (10/5): Great overnight stay!! Thank you! 😁 - High end finish. Lovely stay! Not enough seating for 6 people.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): Superb - House very clean with everything we needed provided. When returning to the area would definitely stay here again,
- Lale (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful home, it's very clean and stylish. Nothing it was perfect for our needs.
- Crawford (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (10/5): Nice and comfortable cottage in a quiet town - Nice and quiet area, cottage itself was clean and could easily fit 6 adults in.The beds were comfy and clean and everything in the cottage was nice and easy to use.
- Rebecca (5/5): Ok - Be aware this property is a cottage split in too and the owners live in the other side with a baby and they take up cars on the drive way. We were singing keroke at night and felt uncomfortable being loud as they were just a wall away. We were friends meeting for a catch up and a drink. And wasn't aware it wasn't a full cottage as it looks on the photos. It's quite small also. It was tidy but the so called hot tub was like a 1 person hottub. Smallest thing I've ever seen 😅 we got in and straight back out as we couldn't fit in
- Keith (10/5): Smooth comms with friendly hosts. House spotlessly clean. - Perfect for what we were after, would happily stay there again.
+ Corner shop & pub with great food both within easy walking distance Nothing
- Lucinda (9/5): Alan was a super host. - Lovely stay at a great property. All great, minor detail would be a lamp or two available for lower lighting upstairs.
- Kelly152 (10/5): The things you forget with a little one! - The property was clean and well maintained. We turned up early and it wasn't a problem. Staff were so helpful and unstanding with us having a little one.
- Jerome (10/5): Brilliant - Everything was great thank you Nothing it was a great property
- Susanna (8/5): It was a lovely stay and I would stay again. - Love the loft room as kid use it as a play room and was very easy to connect out Nintendo switch. Bed are very comfortable. Plenty of parking. The little shower is a great idea as made it easier to wash my youngest. Spar closed by so no need to drive out to get a few items. I didn’t cook in the kitchen but there was everything I could need if I did. WiFi wasn’t very good but I believe this is a priority for the owner to sort out. Garden needs some work but nothing big. Kids were curious with the carrots. I can see this house has some work left to do but it didn’t affect our stay.
