Beautifully furnished with great amenities and comfortable beds. The hot tub was ready for us when we arrived. Kids had a great time and loved the owner's very friendly dogs. The view was spectacular and watching the stars at night from the hot tub was priceless There could have been a few more kitchen utensils available. I was missing not having a spatula. Managed to make do without fairly well. It was also a bit difficult to sit at the table. Not much room to fit your legs under it. I'm just nit-picking now though.

Sehr komfortabel, sauber und gut ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt. Nette, freundliche Gastgeber. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können es uneingeschränkt empfehlen! Da fällt uns nichts ein!

Everything you could need was provided. Kind and helpful hosts. Thank you for having us! We just wished we could spend longer. 2 nights wasn't enough :-)

Very comfy, clean and well appointed. Lovely friendly hosts...two and four legged ! Wonderful preparation....full log basket and lighters, spa pool switched on and hot, plunger coffee for the plunger, fresh flowers on the table. Also tons of space to park our three big work vehicles. Thank you so very much. We couldn't fault it, totally recommend it and plan to visit again. ! Nothing...you have created a magic place.
• Jan (10/5): Clean and comfortable with everything you need to enjoy a home from home - Perfect home from home with bedrooms at either end of the house giving privacy when needed, whilst the main kitchen and living room brings everyone together. There is a great outdoor flow to enjoy a deck which overlooks a large lawn .

The house is in a beautiful setting, Graham and Charlotte are wonderful hosts and the hot tub is a great bonus. Everything you could possibly need is provided, it is close to town but a world away from civilisation. We are so glad we stayed, so exceeded our expectations. Nothing at all

• David (10/5): Exceptional! You will want to come back - Everything was amazing! The location, the house, the hosts and the hot tub! Beautiful, warm cozy home, the place was warmed up for us for our late arrival, we jumped straight into the hot tub, it was all just wow! We had a choice of the heatpump or we could load the fireplace up and really get nice and warm. If there was snow, our holiday would have been perfect 👌 The views are stunning! There was nothing that we didnt like, the amazing hosts thought of everything! Right down to a night light for our boys to feel more comfortable.

• Larsen (10/5): Had a great vacation with my friends and this house really made it that much better - The set up of the house was fantastic it made it really easy to get settled in and the kitchen had a lot of cooking utensils to allow us to cook up the food we had with no worries. Honestly the only thing we found that wasn’t the best was the sound bar not wanting to work with the tv but that really has nothing to do with how much we enjoyed the place and we had a great time.
• Alison (10/5): Beautiful serene cottage in stunning surroundings - We loved the location, just a few minutes drive outside Hanmer Springs, the views are spectacular and it’s such a relaxing peaceful place. We loved the hot tub, the hosts and their dogs are delightful. Fantastic value for money. One very small suggestion, I found the couch very uncomfortable not helped by me having a bad back. Perhaps a new couch would make the place absolutely perfect.
• Grant (10/5): Perfect location and setting, lovely cottage and hosts - The location and setting of Woodbank Escape were excellent - a six-minute drive into Hanmer Springs, and a quiet location with a lovely view. The cottage itself was excellent for facilities, including a lovely hot tub and a well provisioned kitchen (with some milk helpfully provided - thank you). The hosts were lovely. It might be helpful to warn visitors to close all the windows before turning any lights on at night, to avoid insects entering the property.

• Ben (10/5): Woodbank Road Escape is Absolute Bliss - Absolutely Everything. My family and I had a simply wonderful time. Incredible views. The kitchen was well appointed, comfortable beds, loved using the spa and the BBQ in the evenings. Our hosts were also so friendly and welcoming during our stay. Woodbank Road Escape is right. It is the perfect place to "escape" from the busy world if you intend to visit Hanmer. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

• Thompson (10/5): Lovely getaway! - The place was so lovely, and Charlotte and Graham were very kind. If you want somewhere private and quiet, this is it. Good place for stargazing and sitting out in the sun. No shampoo - had to go out to buy at night. So I’d suggest taking some with you!

• Beadon (10/5): Comfortable, warm, glorious views with bonus of a spa pool and log burner. Found a peaceful spot ! - Everything! Comfortable and warm with a logfire set ready to light and very appreciated on the second night with a spatter of snow on the mountains. Beautiful views and felt surrounded by mountains. A very ‘get way from it all’ place to relax and unwind. The spa pool the ideal way to do this! Will return next year! Everything was perfect but I feel a little awkward to mention the mattress in the second bedroom had ‘dips’ each side and may need upgrading but I welcome a response on that.
