Guest Reviews
- Dorottya (9/5): Friendly and affordable stay in a central location - The location was excellent: easy to reach directly from the airport by tram, with no transfers needed. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the host was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, with fresh bed linen. The bathroom was separate but right across from the room, which was fine and not a problem for us. We also appreciated the small details, like the sweets and earplugs provided, a really nice touch! For this price, I think they really tried to make the most out of what the place can offer. The bunk bed was less comfortable for two people, as it’s not ideal to sleep together on it, but we were aware of this when booking. For a one-night stay, it was still perfectly fine overall.
- Elif Ceren (1/5): Berbat bir yer - Oda buz gibiydi. Kiralayan kişi ile iletişim kurulamıyor. Mesajlarına asla bakmıyor. Çalışanların odası gibi bir yer. Diğerlerinde numara varken bu odada numara bile yoktu. Son derece rahatsız bir ranza koymuşlar yatak yerine. Terastan soğuk geliyordu. İnce bir yorgan koyulmuş. Kazak giyip üzerime kendi yorganımı ve üst ranzadaki yorganı almama rağmen sabaha kadar soğuktan dondum. Banyo koridorun diğer ucunda. Kesinlikle aldığı parayı hak etmiyor. Aklın olan buradan uzak dursun. Ben yanılıp tatilimi mahvettim, sizinki de mahvolmasın.
- wilson (3/5): very bad experience - there's no elevator in the building, we have to carry our big luggages climbing stairs to the 3rd floors to our room,
and the bath room using the different key to open,

- Denis (9/5): -
- Federico (1/5): Very bad, loud, smelly and uncomfortable. - Location is very good 1) You CANNOT SLEEP there. Extremely loud area, even with the windows closed.
2) UNCOMFORTABLE and EXTREMELY NOISY BED (double floor with steel structure), every small movement makes a noise.
3) BAD SMELL of perfume and cigarettes, that forces you to open the window despite the noise on the street.
4) BATHROOM NOT LOCATED IN THE ROOM. You must cross a hallway (public) and need to open and close with a key (for it not to be shared with anyone else). Extremely annoying if you want to go in the middle of the night while sleeping.
- legrandjohn (8/5): - Great location. All you need for staying a few days. People were nice. No fridge anymore. Wifi didn't work at first but the person next door helped me out.
- Guardia (8/5): Fue muy buena - Si Bien todo
- MAZLUM (9/5): - şehir merkezinde. Ulaşım kolay Eşyalar biraz eski
- Khorshed (5/5): -

- Molina (8/5): Very good - Room very close to train station, souvenir storage and restaurants. The light was not good and there were not black out courtines.
The directions provided were not so good, specially when the red door was mentioned in the message sent by the owner.
The kitchen items looked old and dirty, for example, the electric pitcher didn't look good inside.
- Jens (9/5): Superb -
- Madeline (9/5): Superb - Good location, soft beds, communication from staff was succinct and clear. Overall very nice Bathroom was private but across a shared hallway but wasn’t an issue. Make sure you have cash for tourist city tax as they didn’t take card
- Shannon (3/5): Probably ok for a 1 night stay in spring/autumn - The apartment is located in a lively part of the city and is conveniently only a 10 minute walk from central station. The apartment was also cheap by Zurich standards. The host claimed that there is airconditioning but there was no airconditioning in the apartment. It was extremely hot even with the portable fan on and the window open. I am australian, so can deal with the heat, but this was next level hot. The outside temperature was 21C, but it felt like at least 35C inside. The portable fan is very old and barely has any cooling effect, especially not for the person on the top bunk. Opening the window barely made a difference heat wise, and made the room very noisy from the bars/restaurants below. The bed was very squeaky, and in combination with the extreme heat we had a terrible night of sleep. Also more generally, the ad is misleading. I guess technically there is a balcony area and a bathroom, the balcony is not attached to the apartment (so not private), and the bathroom is across the hall (not very convenient for longer stays!). If visiting Zurich in summer, I recommend spending more and finding more comfortable accommodation.
- Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Divakar (2/5): Very poor -
- Eva (8/5): Very good - Small cosy apartment in excellent location in old town close to the train station. Made for an easy overnight stop for us before getting to the train station early the next day. No real issues, as advertised is a bunk bed, bathroom across the public hallway. Noise from street below through window but earplugs provided
- Murray (3/5): NOT AN APARTMENT - This place was advertised as an apartment. It was only a room, no beds, only 2 bunk beds!!! No cooking facilities, no coffee or decent tea sachets, only 6 peppermint tea ones. No milk in the fridge. The host definitely has a misleading advertisement.
IT IS ONLY A ROOM. Bathroom across a hallway.
VERY NOISY,NOT AT ALL QUIET. The host did leave airplugs for our use!!!
Property not suited to people over 40 or with a disability unless you like sleeping in the top bunk. See above. Excellent location and very handy to restaurant's.
- Dave (6/5): Mixed bag, well located and inexpensive for Zurich but poor facilities - Great location for restaurants and railway station. Inexpensive for Zurich. Photo is accurate but doesn't show the whole picture. No mention that there is just a bunk bed, no "normal bed" Bathroom has no light except a bedside light balanced on the sink. Luke warm water in bathroom. Room very hot after window closed all day but window opens onto very busy noisy street full of bars and restaurants. Corridor full of workmens tools and boxes that made me slip and fall hurting leg and making 2cm cut on arm. Fridge very handy but kettle lead won't reach power extention lead so has to be used on floor if used at all.
- Alan (8/5): well worth it - location and price. Very comfortable and only a short distance from main station
- Edith (3/5): It’s in a great location , but we got issues - Great location , it was quiet at night, but we were in the middle of the week. Also had a fridge, toaster, kettle. It looks like we were in a storage, stuff under the bed, a flimsy curtain that let all the light in, cleaning rags and heaps of towels and linens in cupboards .
- Carlos (7/5): Good -
- Jennifer (7/5): Good - Good location The bed is too soft. Lots of noise from the street.
- Yabota (6/5): Pleasant -
- Joseph (8/5): Very good - Great value given the location. Below the window is a beer garden. It could be problematic for early to bed people and light sleepers on the weekends. The weekend crowds end at 4 ot 5 a.m.
- Georgios (2/5): Dirty and no care for the costumer - Good location It was not clean ! They didn’t even change the sheets ! Garbage on the floor , hairs on the mattress!
- Daisy (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and safe energy. Good room with a lot of appliances. I was not aware that the restroom was outside the apartment.
- Xander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brandon (2/5): No wifi, no bathroom, just spend the extra money and get a real hotel. - Good location. Couldn’t access the room. Nobody was there to help either. Spent an hour trying to contact the host.
Room was very small. Bathroom was outside. WiFi does not work. Don’t stay here, just get a hotel.
- Nathalie (5/5): Too noisy to sleep - The flat was as described, confortable and good value for money but the noise from the drunken people in the pub downstairs unbearable. We could not link to Wifi. The noise from the drunken people at the terrasse dowstairs, all night and early morning prevented us from sleeping. And this was a cold February night.
- Naz (5/5): Passable -
- Jorge (8/5): Very good -
- Aniketdhar (7/5): Good -
- Reade (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalia (7/5): Good -
- Alexandra (8/5): Great one night stay - Great location, close to train station. Easy to get to. Bunk beds but we knew it before booking
- Hadi (8/5): Very good -
- Campbell (7/5): Good -
- Dita (8/5): Very good - Location, terrace. Kettle No elevator.
- Megan (2/5): Very poor - Good location Key wasn't where we were told it would be, messages were ignored throughout stay, very loud noise from the street and could not close the window without overheating
- Sushrut (8/5): Wonderful - Cozy and comfortable Noise on the street at 3 AM
- Paul (5/5): Passable - Bunk beds, saggy mattress, very dim lights, people in street below drinking, singing. Talking loudly till 0500 am
- Cristian (6/5): Good location for less money but not the most comfortable - Is very close to the river, cafes, restaurants, stores and the train station There’s a lot of activity during the night outside on the street and you can hear it from the room, also during the summer is a little bit hot
- Marion.istria (10/5): Perfect flat for a night stay! - The flat was easily accessible from the train station, with nearby car parks for the car if needed. Easy to find, convenience stores few minutes away, very clean, and so comfortable! Everything was perfect for a night stay, but would probably have been a bit small for a longer stay with 2 people.
- Naheed (7/5): Good -
- Henri (8/5): For this price, a decent stay - Great location and ease of checking in and out. It was a little bit dirty but nothing too bad
- Mendoza (8/5): Very good - Convenient location Mattresses were cheap and uncomfortable, bathroom had visible mold
- Pentecost (6/5): Uncomfortable, Small room. - Good location Lots of stairs, it was assessed across a roof garden that was full of junk, we were not told that the beds were bunks.
Noisy location
- Elena (9/5): Superb -
- Masoud (9/5): Superb -
- H_petra (8/5): Located close to the main railway station - The accommodation is situated very close to the main railway station. The room was clean. The check-in/-out process was very smooth. Good value for money. The bathroom is not part of the room, it is across the corridor through which other people living in the apartment next door can walk.
