• Guest (10/5): Nice short stay in Fiumicino - Comfortable and clean room. Host was very friendly and helpful - made us feel at home. Tasty, fresh pastries and yoghurt for breakfast. We enjoyed wandering to the beach to see the sunset - Fiumicino is a beautiful place.

• Guy (8/5): Rustig gelegen b&b met comfortabele kamers in Isola sacra. - Mooie ontvangt. Fruit en koffie staan klaar. Op de kamer kan je bovendien een flesje water nemen. Comfortabele kamer met een eigen terras. Heel rustig. Geen probleem, maar de borden, het bestek en het kopje is allemaal van plastiek.

The option of leaving our luggage for a short while after departure was answered with a very curt " check out is 11. Very bad English ". Breakfast was all plastic disposable plates, bowls and utensils. Windowless room. Tiny bathroom, I couldn't close the shower door when I was in there. The website said cafe and bar ...but there was none

They provided us a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant and arranged a return trip to the airport for a very reasonable fee, actually cheaper than what an Uber/taxi would charge. We requested a 5:00 am checkout and they accommodated very nicely and Stefania actually got herself out of bed that early and provided us with a nice continental breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again! The only potential drawback was that the neighborhood felt a little seedy, not well lit for an evening walk. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The owner was super supportive and went above and beyond they helped me get a taxi early in the morning and even offered breakfast. The area appeared residential and did not have much to do within walking distance, but we were there for only one night and had a nice dinner at a local restaurant.

Everything is nice - the house is really close to the harbor and beach , just an easy 5-10 min walk. I liked that breakfast was included- super fresh and delicious bakery goods that change every morning. I would definitely visit again. The walls are not soundproofed so you can hear a lot of "outside" noise but it's a quite area so it's not to bad.

• Carolina (9/5): Camera rilassante, ospiti cordiali, colazione abbondante - Abbiamo soggiornato a La Darsena dopo un lungo viaggio in aereo con arrivo a Fiumicino. La posizione è ottima relativamente all'aeroporto, in 10 minuti in macchina/taxi siamo arrivati. La cosa che ci ha più colpiti è stata la gentilezza degli ospiti e la comodità della camera. Gli ospiti hanno sempre risposto rapidamente alle nostre domande, e sono stati estremamente cortesi nell'accoglierci. La colazione era ottima e abbondante, non ci hanno fatto mancare nulla. Non abbiamo avuto esperienze negative. L'unica pecca era che gli ospiti offrono un servizio di navetta, ma lo abbiamo saputo tardi e non abbiamo potuto approfittarne il giorno del nostro arrivo. Il giorno dopo lo abbiamo usato per andare a prendere il treno all'aeroporto di Fiumicino.

La proprietaria è stata gentilissima e la camera era spaziosa e fornita (asciugamani, un cuscino in più di cui abbiamo usufruito e dei piccoli campioncini in bagno). Siamo stati una notte, abbiamo fatto colazione, anche questa contenuta ma ce n'era per tutti i gusti. Decisamente consigliato. Unico punto a sfavore, ma che può essere una mia preferenza, l'assenza del bidet nel bagno in camera si è fatta sentire, ma capisco la decisione per motivi di spazio.

• A (9/5): Great stay close to the airport - We had a great stay at La Darsena! It's the perfect B&B for comings and goings from FCO airport. Short ride to the airport, and they even offer an airport transfer to make life easier. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and breakfast is included. We will definitely be using this more as a stopover on our way in and out of Rome.
