La camera era confortevole, curata e ben organizzata, così come gli spazi comuni.
Un soggiorno davvero piacevole che consiglio senza esitazione. Tornerei sicuramente! Niente

The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly cozy. The staff is impeccable, and I would highly recommend staying here.

- Giulia (10/5): Bellissimo - Pulitissima, la migliore del nostro viaggio in India. arredata in vero stile indiano e colazione ricca
- Jackie (10/5): A perfect stay - A beautifully renovated property in Mandawa, walking distance to the bazaar. My room was absolutely spotless, not a speck of dust. Comfortable bed, kettle etc, beautifully decorated, and a terrific bathroom. I had a hot bath, a delight after months of backpacking. It’s a small hotel with a handful of rooms, and lovely dining nooks. I had a room adjoining a relaxing outside sitting nook. The foot tastes delicious and is beautifully presented, many thanks to Lal Singh the chef. The manager is welcoming and will help plan your visit. Don’t miss sunset from the rooftop too. I stayed two nights over Holi, I could have easily stayed longer. All was delightful
- Carmen (10/5): Like walking inside an ancient mystical myth. -
- Dirk (9/5): A great place! - Hotel Chobdar Haveli in Mandāwa is a great place. Behind its two peaceful haveli courtyards, it offers perfect hospitality and authentic style. The owner and staff go into great lengths to make your stay comfortable. Our room was a delight, breakfast and the (optional) dinner was generous and very good. We fully recommend Hotel Chobdar Haveli.
- Delphine (10/5): The Chobdar haveli is a peaceful gem in Mandawa, my green room was totally amazing, decorated with much style, big, clea -

- Jean-claude (10/5): Perfect stay: we highly recommend. - Room, location, food, everything was excellent. And the hotel staff were all very kind and helpful. One specific recommendation: have diner at the haveli: it was exceptional.
- Judi (10/5): Made to feel like Royalty - Beautifully decorated Haveli with large & spacious rooms. Made to feel very comfortable & well looked after by the excellent host & staff
Virender organised a tour of some of the Haveli’s with a guide for us. Make sure to have dinner here. All veg & all delicious made by a dedicated & generous cook. Loved ever minute here & Mandawa is an interesting & quiet little gem The bed was quite hard but that’s a personal taste
- Beatrice (10/5): Heavenly experience after visiting shekhawati - Gracious host, fantastic spacious and beautiful room, luxurious bathroom, delicious dinner, couldn't be happier! Nothing
- Matteo (10/5): Exceptional short stay in Mandawa! - Everything was amazing! From the very attentive staff, to the beautifully designed rooms and cleanliness, Chobdar Haveli is great for what you pay. The location is excellent but still tucked away from the busy Main Street of Mandawa. Nothing to say!
- John (9/5): Satisfactory but cold - The room was exquisite as was the staff and proprietor Small heater inadequate, no electric blanket, no coffee machine, no coffee/tea maker, no bathrobe. Yes an electric kettle but no cups/mugs.
- Stephen (9/5): Kick back and relax here and make sure you have dinner as it is delicious. - Location is great, food was amazing, staff were excellent. The perfect combination. That we were there only one night.
- Valentina (10/5): Brilliant experience - This haveli is magical, one of the best places I ever stayed. The room was marvellous and spotless, the dinner absolutely delicious (one of the best Indian food I ever had) and the staff extremely nice. I’ll never forget the sense of peace I felt in this place I only wished I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended and the price compared to the service is excellent. Nothing
- Sachdev (10/5): Exceptional - Haveli was very nice kept very well and very clean, spacious room and attentive staff. Excellent breakfast. I highly recommend it.
- Singh (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful stay, highly recommended!
+ Everything was perfect! The staff are super kind and attentive, the room and common spaces are beautiful and spotlessly clean, it’s quiet.
The staff really goes out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and have a great stay.
As a solo traveller I completely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Mandawa!
- Gaurav (10/5): Excellent hospitality in a relatively quiet town of Rajasthan -
- Gwen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sanjiv (10/5): A small haveli for cosy stay - Chobdar Haveli is a small, understated Haveli in a quiet location but very accessible from the painted havelis. The relatively small inventory of rooms and open architecture with a number of open courtyards affords enough privacy while remaining cosy. The rooms and bathrooms are generously proportioned and furnished with a light touch. The service personally supervised by Virendra is attentive and Lal Singh is a very good cook. Sure to visit again. Nothing
- Marinus (10/5): A pearl in the desert.9 u h - A beautiful hotel, centrally located but extremely quiet. Nicely decorated, spacious comfortable rooms, excellent bathroom. Excellent breakfast, delicious dinner.
The staff is extremely professional and ensures that you have a great time. Nothing
- Simon (10/5): A wonderful place to stay - Absolutely delightful place.
Very comfortable and luxurious. Tastefully done. Superb staff and owner. Tremendous attitude.
Excellent supper, we ate twice, a melange of interesting flavours each time.
All round excellent.
- Manon (10/5): Wonderful stay, highly recommended! - Everything was perfect! The staff are super kind and attentive, the room and common spaces are beautiful and spotlessly clean, it’s quiet, and the food is really delicious :)
The staff really goes out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and have a great stay.
As a solo woman traveller I completely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Mandawa! Nothing!
- Simon (9/5): Comfort and hospitality in Mandawa - Mandawa is an excellent base for exploring the Shekhawati region. It has several beautiful havelis and Chobdar Haveli, a historic house a short walk from the centre of town, is the ideal place from which to explore. Our room - on the first floor - was large and beautifully decorated with excellent air conditioning and a large bathroom. There's also a central courtyard plus shady places to sit and eat. Virendra is a very attentive host and the vegetarian food cooked by Lal Singh was varied and delicious. There was really nothing we didn't like. This felt like staying in an elegant home.
- Cloé (10/5): 100% recommend for Europeans staying in India - Literally everything !
- Sandeep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Erika (10/5): All great! Location, room and staff superb!!! - Everything
- Daniela (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay was simply perfect. Virendra was a wonderful host and the Haveli is a small jewel. We really felt like home and would surely come back whenever we'll go back to Rajasthan
- Subir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vickie (10/5): Wonderful Haveli in Mandawa - Beautiful old haveli. Nicely decorated room with comfortable bed. Excellent food. Warm friendly staff. Big tub in the bathroom. Great sunset view from the rooftop.
- Ilaria (10/5): very good - Very good service
- Thea (10/5): Lovely place to stay in Mandawa - This is a lovely place to stay. Fabulous bedrooms, just a quiet step away from the best havelis. Perfect staff and the most delicious vegetarian meals. Nothing
- Moose (9/5): A Room with a Courtyard Castle View - This was my first stay at a Haveli and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The staff were fantastic. Having tea while sitting in the upper outdoor courtyard was a treat. The food was excellent. Breakfast was eggs cooked to order, toast, a variety of fruit, and tea/coffee. I had dinner one night with six different veg dishes. The room was large and the bathroom was almost the same size as the bedroom. There was an alcove to store your luggage. There was a space heater for the chilly nights. There was a/c and fan but not needed. The room had some neat architectural features. The shower head could have been a little higher.
- Niels (10/5): This is the place - We wish we could have stayed longer than one night.
Everything is special, ambiente, courtesy, breakfast.
Denyevad for everything. 5 stars 100 points 😎
- Sophie (9/5): Excellent heritage experience - Location excellent
Staff friendly
Comfy room and facilities Very noisy but obviously not the fault of Haveli
- Gorazd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karla (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice haveli with beautyful rooms. Good Location in the middle of the city. All in walking distance.
The haveli itself ist very clean, hot water ( can be Important in winter times) and hairdryer.
Food is delicious and you will get a lot!!!
Highly recommended! -
- Marta (10/5): Hidden gem of Rajasthan - a MUST visit! - Hidden gem of Rajasthan! Perfectly clean beautiful property, charming room with mindblowing bathroom, royal breakfast, cozy atmosphere, friendly superkind owner and staff - their highest level of service and hospitality plus extraordinary care will make ur stay exceptional! Best hotel in Rajasthan - highly recommended!
- Annie (9/5): Superb - Romantic fairytale haveli in a small town in Rajasthan. Go there if you want to imagine you are a princess from another time :) Loved the colours used in the interiors. Well maintained and clean. Food was tasty and wholesome. Nothing I can think of.
- Tamara (10/5): Perfect place to stay - Everything was perfect.
Highly recommended
- Maria (10/5): It can’t be better - Everything was more than OK. I recomend it very much. The personal is great, the rooms are incredible. There is nothing to be improved.
- Helene (10/5): Very nice Haveli with lots of character and charm - Very nice haveli with lots of character + right in the centre of Mandawa that allows for a nice visit and excursion by walking around + friendly staff / guest + good breakfast. A very good place to stay! Too bad we were the only guests at the time / lacked a little bit of "atmosphere"
- Len5742 (10/5): Mine was a perfect stay. - Stayed here three nights,in the 'green room', upstairs, center.
Huge, beautifully designed main room. Similarly attractive bathroom, bigger than most hotel rooms. Quietest place possible for Mandawa. (Amplified singing started at 5am, affects the whole area.) Proprietor and staff all extremely nice and helpful. Food delicious, generous, and inexpensive.
Everything about my experience here was just first rate. Highly recommended. Mind your head when exiting from the bathroom to the bedroom. Low clearance.
- Olga (10/5): Authentic peaceful Haveli - This place is wonderful! The super friendly staff, amazing food, beautiful rooms and outdoor seating area. It’s a tranquil oasis in the hustle and bustle of India. Can’t recommend it enough! I had to leave…
- Saransh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (10/5): This accommodation was all I had hoped for, authentic haveli, welcoming hosts, clean spacious rooms. Definitely recommen - Welcoming, clean and spacious, delicious meals - vegetarian dinner and breakfast. Couldn’t fault the property.
- Uwe (10/5): A fantastic stay in a historical ambience - The service was excellent and both dinner and breakfast delicious. We enjoyed the room that is in a nice historic style. The owner is friendly and always a big help. If it had been possible for us, we would have been very happy to stay longer.
- Nupur (10/5): Wonderful 2 nights stay. - Very quaint & charming. Great staff. Extremely clean. The owner Virendra was very welcoming & personally ensured that we were well taken care of. Pushpendra was very helpful, courteous & whipped up excellent breakfasts for us.
- Isabelle (10/5): a wonderful stay. - the hotel situation , a little removed from the center of this small city, the beautiful rooms, the places around the courtyard to relax and dine, the peacefulness. the staff was very helpful, even used their own facilities to help me recharge my SIM card. I will definitely come back if I return to Mandawa.
- Omalanga (10/5): My place in Mandawa - The service was exceptional! Breakfast or dinner were served to us by 3 men at the same time. The room and the resting area outside were beautifully decorated and you could find there anything you need. Additionaly,, the place was very peaceful. At night you could only hear the birds (also peacock🙂). The dinner was very tasty also. That I could stay here only 1 night 🙃
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Se12 (9/5): Superb - Nice room and spacious bathroom. Welcoming host, and a ggood breakfast. A quiet location, close to main street.
- Sokolov (10/5): Can really recommend & the vegetarian dinner was fresh & delicious. - Peaceful, welcoming & beautifully furnished with excellent taste, within walking distance of everything of interest in Mandawa. The very hard mattress & solid pillows.
- Thorbjörn (9/5): Superb -
- Dipa (9/5): Superb -
- Anil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Acsardinhafigueiredogf (10/5): The Paradose in Mandawa - This is one of the bests hotels we stayed in our trip to India. It will be difficult to find something s amazing ! Everything is super clean, rooms are spacious, very well maintained, very comfy and very beautiful. Sheets & towels are super fresh ! Amazing staff and service! We simply loved this place. This is the best Haveli in Mandawa and maybe in whole India. The owner of this place is a very kind person, very servicial and he does everything so you can feel well and like home. The food is perfect, so fresh and so tasty. The whole staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very good !
Exceptional place. Everything was amazing ! 10/10
- Me (10/5): Exceptional -
- Seema (10/5): What an unspoilt gem! - Chobdar Haveli is a charming, cosy and unspoilt hotel. With only ten rooms and the owner unobtrusively making sure we were looked after, it felt like we were in a guest room of a private, lived in Haveli instead of a hotel. We especially loved the fact that the old walls that bear signs of lives lived within them, have been left untouched and yet the bathrooms and amenities have been modernized.
The simple home cooked dinner was a definite plus. The wifi signal was a bit weak, but we were told it was a problem in the entire area and not just the hotel. We got important messages through anyway, so it wasn't that much of an issue..
- Erika (10/5): I loved this place - This adorable hotel is a great place to stay while exploring the Shekhawati region. Friendly, super clean, safe and cosy with yummy veg meals.
- Nathan (10/5): The best place we stayed at in India! - A truely unique and amazing property. in three weeks of motorcycling around Rajasthan, this was by far the best place we stayed! we can’t recommend it enough, and we would return to India purely to stay here again. Nothing.
- Mohina (10/5): A king's hotel - The staff was so welcoming, attentive, discret, elegant and so on ! The meals we took were delicious. The haveli is superb, rooms are amazing. You feel like a Maharajah in this place. I would totally come back and recommend the place to friends and family. Best hotel ever. Nothing !!!!!
