Exquisite interior of the hotel and rooms. Unfortunately, there were a lot of people at breakfast, the few staff did not quite cope with the service. I did not find any other shortcomings.

The staff was also very hospitable and went above and beyond for everything, they scheduled all of our tours as well as set up a private birthday dinner next to the fireplace with roses and candles with a meal of our choice. Would highly recommend and when I come back to cappadocia I will stay here again. N/a

Room was built into the rock, wifi connectivity is compromised. we could get a signal to use phone /whatsapp while on the terrace though.

Rooms are Just a dream, your can't Imagine how fresh and temperate can be a cave room until you spend a night there. The host and the entire staff were Absolutely and genuinely kind and caring. On sunday instead of the standard buffet breakfast(which Is incredibily varied and Rich) they treated us with a table service. Position is stragical, from Ortahisar you can visit all the main valleys of Cappadocia in a Blink, moreover Ortahisar Is much less Mass touristic than Goreme or Urgup(yet) so you can find some typical less touristic restaurant in there. Overall we had a fantastic experience. Thank you very much! Everything was perfect!

Location is a problem, far from Goreme. There is nothing to do on or after evening, no night life nearby.

Elisoliet (10/5): An amazing experience! - Sallih and his staff waited for us to check in late. I had email Sallih inquiring for some gluten and lactose free options for my daughter is allergic to those. He had bought coconut milk and all sort of cookies and oatmeal for her. Sallih arranged, taxis, balloons and photo sessions for us during our stay. The property itself and the view are gorgeous. The history behind the property is very interesting. Very quiet and peaceful place. You have shops and cafes within minutes. Castle Ortahisar is within minutes. You get all you need towels, shampoo, soap, and fridge. Everything was perfect!

Halima (1/5): Shady pricing policy, bad location - Overall we liked Cappadocia. But hotel’s location is not the best. This is totally run-down hotel with misleading photos; and (!) shady pricing policy. If you are paying less than $100, it would be okay value. We booked it at 160 euro per night, and closer to travel dates prices were 80 euros, but our reservation was non-refundable. Location is not convenient. You should book hotel in Goreme; this one showed up in search and we didn’t pay attention that it’s far from scenic views. On the first day of arrival we were so much in excitement, the manager offered lunch; we asked for menu. They don’t have printed menu; fine, we placed the order. Food was mediocre (first time in Turkey), but then I asked how much we owe and was shocked. If you go to the town, you can get much-much better food at much better prices. Fine, we paid and wanted to enjoy jacuzzi tub (the feature that attracted us in this hotel at the first place), but didn’t have hot water. Fine, we went to bed. Next morning was our balloon flight; we woke up at 3am to get ready, and (!) no water at all! In retrospect I think we should have asked for reimbursement, at least matching the prices to their level, but we wanted to enjoy our vacation and not to deal with sneaky hotel manager.

I stayed in a other hotel 5mins away that was a lot cheaper an - scenery around the hotel It wasn’t clean. asked for room to be cleaned and all they did was change towels. garden furniture cushions was wet through and should of been taken off when raining. outdoor hot tub had not been cleaned. the floor inside the room was dirty. sheets was never changed. leeks through the roof which was dripping onto bed. plug socket hanging off revealing wires. the fridge wasn’t clean. not child friendly! candles not been replaced. electric was off for a few hours on my first night. food very basic. dining area not clean, tables, windows. staff didn’t wear any kind of uniforms. Hard to tell who was management or staff. stray cats and dogs roaming around the grounds. speak very little English. smells of damp on bed sheets.
Estevao (10/5): Wonderful experience for a wedding anniversary - Cave experience is really nice. Jacuzzi is very big, two people fit comfortably in. Perfect for a couple. Typical breakfast is very good.
Jay (9/5): exceptional hotel - this hotel is splendid, staff was very friendly, excellent quality hotel, really feel like you're in an exotic cave, highly recommend. they offered me a tour of the hot air balloon launching hotspots for photos early in the morning (5am) when they start. the only drawback is location, if you prefer something more central then best to stay in Goreme. Another drawback that wasn't an issue for me were stairs, if you have a hard time going up or down stairs this hotel isn't for you. but it truly is... splendid!

Neli (10/5): Exceptional - I highly recommend the place. It is the absolute example of coziness and it has all the comforts needed. Being cool in the warm nights and nice and warm when chilly , every single room has it own style and ambience. The food that was served for breakfast could definitely satisfy even the fanciest taste. The chef was there all the time ready to serve and fulfil everyone’s culinary orders. The fascinating treatment received from the owner of the hotel was unforgettable.He treated us as we were his dearest friends and gave us useful advices and indulged our very whim. The valley located on foothill of the cliff around the hotel it is worth it exploring too. Under breath stopping sky light, you can find the local open air museum and the well preserved Christian churches in the caves. Undisturbed by massive tourist crowds the picturesque view could be enjoyed in peace.
