• Astrid (9/5): Wunderbares Hotel mit Charme und tollen Menschen - Schönes Hotel mit Style! Wir hatten die Suite mit Balkon - wunderschön, großzügig, auch das Bad, den Balkon haben wir dann gar nicht genutzt. Himmlische Betten. Gutes Frühstück im Garten. Das Personal ist hervorragend!

• Milica (10/5): Charming Small Hotel with a Lovely Atmosphere - We spent only two nights in this lovely hotel in Luang Prabang, but we really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect - away from the hustle and bustle of the town, yet still easy to reach on foot. I especially loved the little path that leads to the accommodation. It’s lined with trees and soft lamps that create a very peaceful atmosphere, especially in the evening. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the complimentary water bottles both upon arrival and departure. Andy was extremely welcoming and kind, which made us feel at home right away. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough to start the day. I particularly enjoyed the baguettes and omelette. Overall, the place feels very intimate and well managed. I really like that it’s a small property, which makes the atmosphere more personal and relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Luang Prabang and can’t wait to come back!

Andy was very professional in hosting and Leo was really thoughtful towards the guests. I also have to mention that the hotel’s design and decoration are really amazing. This tranquil place gave me lots of inspiration for my travel writing. By the way, there is a cat with four newborn babies — they were just adopted! Such a lovely place. I will definitely come back again soon. Everything was great. Nothing to complain about.

• Robin (10/5): A sylish, comfortable small hotel with excellent customer service. - Very clean, comfortable, stylish rooms in a lovely historic building. Leo and his staff were very welcoming, providing advice and suggestions when asked, and giving great customer service. A good breakfast on the outdoor terrace, with freshly cooked food plus yoghurt, fruit and baguettes. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, about 15 minutes walk from the night market and central town. We enjoyed our stay so much that we returned later in our trip for more days. Worth having one of the larger rooms for extra comfort. There is construction work on a building behind the hotel, but we were warned of this, the noise stopped at 17.00, and was not a problem.

Fides’ breakfast was lovely and its staff delightful. The location was near the night market, ATMs and restaurants yet quiet and peaceful at night. Our room was small yet very clean and had every comfort needed- a safe, plenty of towels, hangars, coffee/tea/kettle, daily room service, air conditioning and a really comfortable bed. O hotel está bem localizado e é possível ir a pé aos principais pontos de interesse. Obtive ótima recomendação de agência de turismo para fazer o tour para a caverna Pak Ou e a cachoeira Kuang Si. É muito importante citar o trabalho de qualidade realizado por todos os funcionários, especialmente Andy, e pelo proprietário, Leo, que cuidam do hotel com muito carinho e recebem muito bem seus hóspedes! • Marc (8/5): Chambre individuelle minuscule. - Emplacement légèrement en dehors du centre, calme la nuit ( malheureusement des travaux ont lieu immédiatement derrière l'hotel pour le moment). Bon petit-déjeuner. Bon accueil. Même si c'est signalé dans la description, la chambre individuelle est vraiment petite ( avec le lavabo à côté du lit). La fenêtre donne sur un couloir donc impossibilité d'ouvrir les rideaux.

Peacefully away from the madding crowds, yet only a pleasant 10-minute stroll to the Old Quarter of Luang Prabang. Couldn’t be more perfect!

• MATSURI (10/5): 理想のルアンバパーンを楽しめるステイ - 観光客が多いエリアから少し離れた落ち着いたエリアでこじんまりとしたホテルを探して選びました。 クチコミ通り、宿泊前からオーナーさんからメッセージをいただき現地での列車予約の事などきめ細やかに対応していただき、宿泊前から安心して伺う事が出来ました。 まずフロントでゆったりチェックインしてもらえて、ルアンバパーンの街の説明などもしてもらいました。 お部屋はwebサイト通りでシンプルミニマルでとてもセンスが良くてテンション上がりました！私は1番小さいシングルルームだったので、冷蔵庫はありませんでしたが、聞いたらホテルの冷蔵庫で預かってくれるとの事でした（広いお部屋には備え付けられてるそうです）。 シャワーの水圧、ドライヤーも風力○です！ 朝食も出来立てをいただけるオーダータイプでとても美味しかったです。メニューが複数あるので連泊も楽しみになります。 ホテルを出たり入ったりするタイミングでスタッフの方に会うと声掛けてくれるので、お互いに安心出来てセキュリティ的にも安心です。 観光客が多いエリアは人が多く騒がしい感じだったので、静かにのんびり過ごすのにピッタリなホテルでした。またルアンバパーンに行く際はぜひ泊まりたいです！ なし（基本、暑い国なので小さい部屋でも小さい冷蔵庫があると美味しそうなフルーツや飲み物を冷やしたいリクエストは多いかと）

• Sabrina (10/5): Una gemma nel cuore di Luang Prabang - Fides Boutique Hotel è una vera chicca nel centro di Luang Prabang per molti motivi che mi hanno fatta innamorare: il primo in assoluto è l’accoglienza ricevuta da parte di tutto lo staff al quale se dovessi assegnare un voto da 1 a 10 sarebbe 20! La squisita gentilezza non è assolutamente scontata in Asia e in Laos dove l’eleganza nel mondo “hospitality” deve ancora affermarsi. Qui invece regnano classe e savoir faire degni di un hotel 5 stelle che rendono giustizia anche alla storia della struttura che un tempo era residenza estiva della famiglia reale. Le stanze sono arredate con gusto, essenziali, funzionali, accoglienti e silenziose. La colazione à la carte viene servita in giardino e qui ho mangiato i migliori pancakes all’ananas della mia vita. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e sorridenti sempre pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta ed il mio benvenuto è stato accompagnato da succo d’arancia ed early check-in.. cosa chiedere di più? Ringrazio l’instancabile ragazzo della reception che coccola gli ospiti dall’arrivo, alla colazione e fino alla buona notte.. Dolcissimo❤️

• Sandra (10/5): Ein wunderschönes kleines Hotel mit extrem tollen Menschen! - Ein wunderschönes kleines Hotel in perfekter Lage. Abseits vom Trubel und doch in Laufnähe zu allem. Man merkt, dass hier viel Herzblut drin steckt, alles ist einfach wunderschön gestaltet. Das extrem leckere Frühstück bekommt man morgens in dem kleinen wunderschönen Garten. Alles ist gepflegt und blitzsauber. Bett sehr bequem, sogar mit 2 unterschiedlichen Kopfkissen. Zu einem wirklich besonderen Ort machen es aber die Menschen. Andy ist so freundlich und zuvorkommend, kümmert sich sofort um alle Anliegen. Leo, der Inhaber kümmert sich rührend um alles. Bei Ankunft habe ich gemerkt, dass ich meine Kreditkarte im letzten Ort verloren habe. Sie haben wirklich alle Hebel in Bewegung gesetzt, um mir zu helfen, sind mit mir zur Bank gefahren, haben die Polizei angerufen…so viel Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft, obwohl ich nur eine Nacht da war. Das Hotel hat eine wunderbare Energie, auch die Gäste waren sehr angenehm. Dies war nun mein 4. Hotel in Luang Prabang, ich habe alle Kategorien ausprobiert, dies hat definitiv das beste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Ich habe es wirklich sehr bedauert, dass ich nur eine Nacht bleiben konnte! Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt und ganz besonders für eure Hilfe!! Absolut nichts

We stayed at Fides for 5 nights after a busy couple of weeks exploring Laos and it was a gorgeous retreat to relax in away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Our room was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great shower too! We really enjoyed the generous breakfast every day and can highly recommend the addictive noodle soup and the banana pancakes!! Everything here was perfect but the main selling point has to be the staff, from being welcomed by the owner personally to having a drink at the bar with our favourite Andy! We really appreciated him chatting away with us about his family and background- it really does make a guest feel connected to a place. The staff here are an absolute credit and make you feel welcomed like old family friends and certainly add a touch of luxury to the stay. We hope to return to Fides soon! We loved the location too, just 10 mins from the main market area and the hotel was well known to tuktuk drivers so easy to get back to at night. Andy helped arrange transport for us when we were going back to the airport etc and we were given many recommendations for where to eat and drink and the best time to visit attractions to skip the tour buses. This guest house was our favourite accommodation during our trip and we were very sad to leave! (Sorry we didn’t get more pictures!) There is some construction and animal noise but this is evidently the case for the whole of Luang Prabang, if you are sensitive to sound being earplugs and you’ll be fine.

The bed was the comfiest bed we've had in 4 months of travelling Asia. That we didn't stay longer and we can no longer have the amazing banana pancakes for breakfast!

The hotel has a charming boutique feel, with clean, well-designed rooms and a very cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations and requests. The location is convenient and makes it easy to explore nearby attractions while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay, and I would happily recommend Fides Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a warm, stylish, and pleasant place to stay. Nothing. Everything is good.

• Paul (9/5): Amazing stay for lone travellers and couples!! - Beautiful and considered renovation with only 12 rooms so super quiet with no large crowds.. Staff were amazing and super friendly. The location was a short 10 mins walk to the main part of town and the night markets and a quiet safe area. Great breakfast also.
• Meriel (10/5): Absolutely perfect! - Beautiful property & rooms. Lovely staff & friendly guests! Very short walk into town. We hired push bikes & scooters all with help from Fides. Couldn’t have been easier. Fab little laundry across the road too. Breakfast was great- love that it’s to order. Get the noodle soup with chill paste!! Mmmmm! Felt like a family running it, not just staff. Will definitely stay again one day.
• Katrin (10/5): Ich würde wiederkommen! - Sehr freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück. Das gesamte Design ist sehr durchdacht und stylisch und die Ausstattung ist hochwertig. Insgesamt eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist sowohl zum Zentrum als auch zum Parkplatz, von dem aus der Greenbus zum Wasserfall und zur Bahnstation fährt, sehr gut! Fenster zum Flur: Es gibt zwar ein Rollo und einen Vorhang, aber beides ist lichtdurchlässig. Das ist aber das einzige Manko.

I must say, the staff here are truly enthusiastic about helping guests have a pleasant stay, especially Andy, who helped me so much and shared a few warm chats. 10 out of 10. They also have an adorable cat who’s very used to people.

• Tomoko (8/5): 足音が気になるのら1階の部屋は避けたほうが良いです。それ以外はとても良いホテルです。 - 街の中心から少し歩きますが、静かなエリアで良かったです。 スタッフのアンディ(?)さんがとても親切です。 朝ごはんがとても美味しいのと、小さなクリニックが敷地内にあるのでちょっとした事なら診てくれるそうです。我々は利用しませんでしたが安心できますよね。 古い邸宅を改装してるためか、上の階の足音がかなりうるさいです。(とりわけうるさいゲストだったのかもしれません) 3時間ガタガタやっていて、改装工事でもしてるのかと思うくらいうるさかったです。

• MEGUMI (10/5): - This is a very new and stylish hotel with a cute building design, and the room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The walkway from the entrance was beautifully decorated with a Christmas theme, creating a lovely and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. We are deaf, and the staff and the owner kindly communicated with us using smartphones. Their communication was thoughtful and clear, and everyone was very friendly and attentive, which made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The owner, in particular, was extremely kind and supportive from beginning to end. Their warm personality truly stood out.

• Ryoko (10/5): great - All of the staff were wonderful, especially Leo and Andy. Their responses were very quick even before our stay, which made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of. The Christmas decorations were lovely, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The building and the interior design of the room were very stylish and comfortable, making our stay truly exceptional. It was one of the best stays we have ever had. Although the hotel is within walking distance of the city center, it is located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it perfect for an adult, relaxed getaway. If I had to mention something, because we stayed on New Year’s Eve, there was an outdoor karaoke event nearby that went on late into the night. This was understandable given the occasion, but it was a bit noisy.

The Luang Prabang night market is a 10-15 min walk but it was fine

• Shidokht (10/5): Total begeistert. - Die gesamte Anlage sieht toll aus. Die Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Alle waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Für unseren sehr frühen Check-out wurde das Frühstück extra am Abend zuvor vorbereitet und in Boxen mitgegeben. Wir waren über unseren Aufenthalt total begeistert. Die beste Unterkunft die wir in Laos hatten.

• Thomas (10/5): Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder! - Sehr gepflegtes Haus ohne unnötigen Pomp, gut gelegen in einem der besten und ruhigsten Wohnviertel von Luang Prabang. Weit genug entfernt vom sehr belebten Zentrum und doch nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. Sehr engagierte Mitarbeiter, die mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen.

• Jenni (10/5): Erinomainen hinta-laatusuhde - Hotellin sijainti on oikein hyvä: lyhyt kävelymatka keskustan vilkkaille kaduille, mutta itse hotelli on rauhallisessa korttelissa, jossa ei ole meteliä. Henkilökunta on erittäin ammattitaitoista, ystävällistä ja lämminhenkistä. Hotelli on kauniisti sisustettu ja hyvin ylläpidetty: kaikki on hyvässä kunnossa ja joka puolella on siistiä. Wifi oli hyvä, samoin ilmastointi ja huoneemme jääkaappi. Sänky oli miellyttävä nukkua. Huoneen kassakaappi oli tilava: läppäri ja pari järjestelmäkameraa mahtuivat sinne hyvin. Aamupala on à la carte -tyylinen ja kaikki oli herkullista. Kahvi oli hyvää ja vahvaa paikallista kahvia. Jos jotain kielteistä pitäisi keksiä, niin huoneessa ei ollut kokovartalopeiliä. Tämä ei todellakaan ollut iso miinus – olihan kylpyhuoneessa kuitenkin tavallinen peili.
• Medea (10/5): An amazing peaceful and clean spot with the best host ever - A beautiful spot very well maintained. You feel that the owner have put his heart into the place with attention to many small details. Very friendly and attentive stuff with good level of English. You really feel very welcomed. Hotel is ca 8 min walk from the centre and therefore very calm and peaceful. Breakfast is freshly prepared upon order amongst a choice of several dishes. I can fully recommend this place, for me a 10 out of 10!!!! Nothing - everything top!!!! Thank you for an amazing stay. And congratulations for creating this beautiful location!
• Philip and Jenny (10/5): A comfortable 'home' in Luang Prabang ... - Stayed at this hotel last year and wouldn't have considered coming back anywhere else this year ... stayed for about three weeks so it definitely felt like home by the time I left! The area is quiet and safe and within walking distance of anything in the town ... well away from noisy tour groups (hotel is too small to accommodate these, thank goodness - and is generally child-free). Good night's sleep guaranteed. Comfortable bed, enough storage, plenty of hot water, ample breakfast (can never eat it all!), good coffee ... what more do you need? WiFi generally reliable (expect occasional power cuts, though no fault of the hotel) ... Leo and Pat are kindness itself and perfect hosts ... I was able to leave a large case with them during a trip to Vang Vieng (it did arrive safely with me in Singapore!), and they were helpful when food poisoning struck - again, nothing to do with the hotel! I almost forgot to say how much I like the 'cool' (in every sense of the word) ambiance of the hotel, and the meticulous cleanliness of the rooms and public areas. Laos is rather a dusty place, so I appreciate the effort involved. (There are a few places worth exploring on the far - non-city - side of the hotel which are easily accessible from the main road: the Phousi wholesale market - opposite a 7-11 -; the small riverside temple of Wat Phrabat, which has good sunset views over the Mekong; the park/gardens with a memorial to the first Prime Minister of Lao PDR; and the memorial across the road from that). Nothing to dislike!
• Tom (10/5): Fantastisch mooi hotel met super mensen - Fantastische plek om te verblijven. Watme en hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar en al het personeel. Zeer hulpvaardig, super ontbijt, het beste bed in de voorbije maanden. Ik zou deze plek zelfs een 11 willen geven 👌👌👌
