• Mark (10/5): Amazing property! Great views! Highly recommend it! - The apartment was amazing! We rented the whole apartment and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the floors and furnishings are in pristine condition! It is sooo much better than a hotel. We arrived from the airport a few hours too early to check in but Emiliano arranged for us to store our luggage at the apartment until check in time so we didn’t have to lug it around town with us. Nice touch! So helpful! The apartment was exceptionally clean and well appointed with all the appliances, towels, utensils and other extra nice touches you would ever need. Emiliano was an incredibly gracious host and arranged transportation for us from and to the airport. We stayed in the apartment for two nights and got to experience the town a bit until our cruise departed on the third day. There’s a balcony to sit on outside the living room with beautiful views of the port and the ships while you drink your morning coffee or evening vino. There’s also a coffee shop on the first floor of the building. There are a few restaurants along the beautiful walkway directly behind the apartment building. We tried a couple of them for dinner and they were excellent! There’s also an outstanding gelato shop along the walkway….delicious treats! One bit of advice, text Emiliano (or connect with him on WhatsApp) if you have any issues at all. He’s super helpful and you can absolutely trust his advice and opinion. If you’re going on a cruise, reach out to him on the best way to get to the ship. Do not try to use Uber while you are there…..great advice from Emiliano. It will definitely save you money and frustration! Thanks to Emiliano, our ride to the airport was waiting for us at 7:00a.m. when we got off the ship. We loved everything about the apartment itself! Thank you for everything Emiliano! We will definitely stay again if we do another cruise from Civitavecchia!

The owner, Emiliano, was very helpful in giving restaurant recommendations to making airport transportation arrangements. My husband and I would love to go back and stay longer. We took a cruise that left from Civitavecchia, and honestly, we enjoyed the town as much as any other large port. The apartment was very clean and conveniently located. We really enjoyed our stay. • constantina (10/5): Perfect place to start a holiday or stay for longer - This is a large apartment and has plenty of room. We were a party of 5 and used all the bedrooms. It has everything a guest needs, right down to a bottle of water in the fridge when you arrive. The location is perfect. Right opposite the port with a lovely view and close to the centre of town. Lots of bars and restaurants under the apartment and close by Emiliano was a great host. He made contact soon after booking and arranged transport from the airport, including the price of the cab (our driver was also a really nice guy). Emiliano is an excellent host helping us to get there and to the cruise terminal with accurate and reliable information.

Just loved it and would definitely consider reserving this again. The property manager, Emiliano, was wonderful and so helpful. He contacted us as soon as we made the reservation. He helped to arrange our transfers from the airport to the apartment and then again to the cruise terminal. He also recommended restaurants for dinner. He answered all of my questions and was always pleasant, friendly and responsive. He made us feel very comfortable. I highly recommend reserving this apartment to anyone traveling to the cruise port. Nothing negative to say… it was a perfect property.

The host was extremely communicative and responsive when messaged on WhatsApp. The view from the room we stayed in was of the port and it was beautiful. It is an apartment and you get your own private bathroom, which is not attached to your room. However there is a key and it does lock so you can leave your stuff in the bathroom. This did not bother us. We knew this ahead of time and we were the only people that stayed in the apartment so we pretty much had it to ourselves. It was very clean and the host gave a wonderful recommendations. We would definitely come back. There is an elevator that brings you up directly to the apartment. It’s very accessible and close to everything. Nothing!

One of the best parts was the beautiful balcony—I could sit and watch the ships go by and enjoy the stunning sunset each evening. It truly added something special to my stay. The owner was incredibly kind and responsive, always replying right away whenever I needed anything. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out, and I felt well taken care of throughout my visit. I honestly wish I could have stayed longer, but my cruise is calling my name. I hope to return someday—this place was a gem!

• Leonard (10/5): Exceptional - My wife and I stayed at La Onda for one night before our cruise, and it was the perfect spot. The location right by the water can't be beaten. The building has an old-school elevator that added some charm. The apartment itself is beautifully renovated, with marble floors, bright white walls, and new furniture throughout. The air conditioning in worked amazingly well - a big relief after our stay in Rome where the AC wasn't as effective. Remember that this is a B&B. The apartment has 2 rooms. You will be sharing the unit with one other guest(s). You have your own bedroom and bathroom, and both have locks to keep your things secure and private. You share the kitchen and living room. We felt safe the entire time in the unit. it was nice and quiet in the evening and we slept well. We arrived right at checkin time, put our luggage in the room and walked the town. We stood very local and enjoyed walking up and down the street towards the beach, the water, and the restaurants, coffee, etc. It was nice walking the small town. We had did the big bang Rome tours the day before, so we were ok with short walkable eats, sights and ambiance. We ate at a great local restaurant - the highest rated in the area "IL Conte Zio Cucina Romana e non" and walked to the coast side and had coffee and desert at "Gran Cafe." We were out at day and night and we felt safe the entire time. Take note of where you want to eat. Some places don't open until the evening - 5:30-6pm'ish. The views from the apartment's terrace are stunning - perfect for morning coffee overlooking the water. Emiliano was an excellent, responsive host. He quickly helped us find the place when we got a bit lost, and gave us all the info we needed, including about the free shuttle bus to the crusie port. Overall, fantastic value and a lovely place to stay in Civitavecchia. Highly recommend for a pre-cruise visit or to explore the town for longer stays! Nothing! We loved it all! Emiliano was a great host!

A great start to our cruise holiday. - The apartment was clean, spacious, modern, and well-furnished, and had stunning views of the sea and cruise ships in harbour. Very centrally located for shops, restaurants and tourist sites. Short walk to cruise ship transfer. Our host, Emiliano, went out of his way to help us both before our arrival and during our stay. He organised a taxi to meet us at Rome airport and answered all of our advance questions promptly in fluent English. He met us and showed us around the apartment and suggested a restaurant for dinner. When an unexpected problem (no fault of his) arose, he intervened swiftly to solve it. Throughout, we found him to be a very friendly and helpful host. We couldn't have asked for better. One small suggestion: there weren't any locks on the bathroom doors. Since the apartment was being shared between four adults and the two bathrooms are next to each other, locks need to be fitted.
