• Marion (8/5): - On a été accueillies avec plein de gourmandises. C'était très chouette. L'hôte s'est montrée disponible pour répondre à nos questions.
• Tan Cha (10/5): Sončno mesto na čudovitem otoku - Z izbiro namestitve sva bila zelo zadovoljna. Ko spoznaš otok Madeira vidiš, da tu ne obstaja izraz ravnina. Namestitev je v naselju z zasebni parkirnim prostorom. Gostitelj nam je dovolil uporabo vrta od koder je bil vsak večer čudovit sončni zahod, od tod tudi ime kraja. Apartma je bil za naju prevelik. Na mizi naju je čakala steklenica vina in lokalni proizvodi. Stanovanje čisto urejeno, kvalitetno ležišče, uporabna kuhinja in velika kopalnica. Lokacija namestitve je idealna za vsakodnevni izlet kamorkoli na otoku. Prav tako so blizu pohodne poti. Primerno tako za par kot družino. Gostitelji so izredno prijazni in odzivni. Na splošno imava izredno pozitivno oceno tudi za vse ostale lokalne ljudi, so srčno prijazni. To sploh ne spada v ta razdelek, ker vremena ne moreš oceniti, ker je zadnji dan rosilo, kar ni značilno za ta prede otoka. Vse odlično, priporočam pa vsem ki obiskujete otok z reta car vozilom izberite majhnega, ker vam bo lažje!
• Agnese (9/5): - Lieliska vieta, kur palikt ja ceļojiet ar auto, ļoti jauki un izpalīdziga saimniece, skaists skats uz banānkoku dārzu un kalniem. ir vis nepieciešmais, lai paliktu ilgāku laiku. Mums ļoti patika un labi gulējām. -

• Naïg (7/5): Bien mais un peu déçus quand-même - Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’’accueil de l’hôte, l’emplacement de la maison ( Ponta Do Sol est une commune très agréable et ensoleillée) et la superficie de l’’appartement. Nous avons été déçus du manque de luminosité de l’appartement (salle de bain, cuisine et une chambre sans fenêtre et la pièce de vie est assez sombre aussi ). Par ailleurs, la vue sur mer indiquée sur l’annoncé est trompeuse. Il s’agit d.une partie du jardin commune aux propriétaires et pas en accès direct de l’appartement.

• wob (7/5): netjes, schoon, vriendelijk, maar te weinig ramen - Heel aardige en gastvrije host. Bracht bananen van eigen kwekerij. Huis was super schoon en netjes. Eigen parkeerplaats. Prima bedden. Heerlijk rustig. Op basis van de foto's op de website verwacht je een een mooie plek om buiten te kunnen zitten met een mooi uitzicht. Maar het is alleen een bovenverdieping met slechts 1 raam hoog rond raam in de kamer waardoor je naar buiten kunt kijken. Een slaapkamer, de keuken en de badkamer hebben geen raam. Voelden ons een beetje opgesloten. Verder erg weinig stopcontacten. Thee en koffie zetten kan bijvoorbeeld niet gelijktijdig. In de keuken is er maar 1 stopcontact.
• Franz (8/5): Freundlich. Unweit von der Stadt. - Freundliche Gastgeber, ruhige Lage. Zimmer war nordseitig mit einem kleinen und mittleren Fenster. Dadurch auch etwas frisch, besonders im Bad. Aber es gab 2 Ölradiatoren, man war bemüht das Übel zu lindern. 😄
• Edwin (10/5): Erg gastvrije familie. - Mooi uitzicht vanaf het balkon op de bananenplantage. Helaas in onze periode (kerst) geen zon op het balkon, waar wel lekker zou zijn tijdens het ontbijt. Er is wel de mogelijkheid in de tuin in de zon te zitten.
• Marjan (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf op hele mooie locatie. Attente gastvrouw en heer. - Prachtige locatie, mooi uitzicht op de bananenplantage en de heuvels. Keurig appartement, bij aankomst stond er een welkomst geschenk op tafel, waaronder mango's uit eigen tuin. Dorp is gezellig en vooral in december overal prachtige kerstverlichting. De accommodatie was moeilijk te vinden, maar na contact met de eigenaar werden we opgehaald, keurig geregeld. Pittige wandeling naar het dorp via steile helling.

Agréables attentions à l'arrivée ( magnet, petit gâteau traditionnel, bouteille de Madère).Très calme: aucun bruit de circulation, pas de voisins. Jardin avec transats. Petite terrasse extérieure avec une belle vue sur la bananeraie.Cuisine très bien équipée. Très bonne literie dans la grande chambre. Prises anti moustiques fournies. La petite chambre n'a pas de fenêtre. Le ventilateur était nécessaire.

• Sandrahg (10/5): Recomendable - Todo perfecto. Apartamento amplio muy bien equipado, buena ubicación, con un lugar donde dejar el coche (nada fácil en la isla debido a su orografía), y por supuesto Sara súper atenta a todas nuestras necesidades. Repetiríamos 100% si volvemos a la isla.

• Zdenek (10/5): Slice of Paradise with Exceptional Hospitality at Sara House - My recent stay at Sara House in Ponta do Sol was amazing! The landlord was super welcoming, met us, and made sure we were all set - a great start! The landlord’s hospitality stood out. We were surprised and delighted to get Easter eggs—a thoughtful touch! Plus, we enjoyed her delicious local bananas and cake - the taste of Madeira! Our host even offered to wash our shirts! How kind! Beyond the awesome hospitality, Sara House is in a truly peaceful and idyllic spot. The breathtaking view of the lush banana plantation provided a tranquil backdrop. The area’s serenity was a real escape, perfect for chilling out and unwinding. For a peaceful getaway with incredible hospitality, I totally recommend Sara House in Ponta do Sol. The stunning location and the landlord's extraordinary kindness made this a vacation to remember, for sure!
• Monique (6/5): Good value for money, one or two things could improve for a more comfortable experience but all in all it was good. - The owners were very kind and accommodating. Lovely views. The shower didn’t work properly. We had cold showers on a few occasions because there was no hot water. We were told that if we switch it off for a few minutes and then try again, it would get hot. There were a few times this didn’t happen. Other than that, we visited in winter and the apartment was cold. There was a small heather that didn’t really do anything so I think it could have another heather for more comfort. Otherwise, it was a good stay. - thank you
• Harry (8/5): Quaint property, nice and quiet and not far from the beach - The apartment was lovely, it had a small kitchen with a fridge and cooker and microwave oven. Lovely gifts kindly given to us by the hosts with fresh fruit from local sources. Walk down to the beach was about 15 minutes. Nice balcony overlooking the banana plantations was nice to sit out in. We thought there would be a washing machine as that was what was on the amenities, what it actually meant was you had to ask the hosts to use their machine so not useful if they aren't about. Did have a struggle on the last day with the automatic door but thankfully the host was able to fix it.

I has the best guests I could have asked for, super welcoming and also left us fruits and a typical cake. I have loved my stay, which was well priced as well. Recommend it 100% Nothin

• Mark (8/5): Lovely stay and worth to come back to. - The Sara House is located at a beautiful site next to the bananas plantage. The owners / hosts are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and large for us, with excellent beds. We really loved the kitchen, it is well equiped and everything you need for making your own meals is available. It was all very nice, so no dislikes here.

• Oldrich (10/5): Simply the best. - Excellent place! Apartment was really nice, equipped with everything what you need for comfortable staining. Is possible to use garden with seating and parking place. The position is strategic, it is not so far to any part of island. Just around two hundred meters from the place is very good restaurant (Dos Amigos). But the absolutely best point was the person of the owner and her husband (and daughter:)) - brilliant people, very helpful and friendly. They are able to make perfect atmosphere and you can feel like in the visit of friends. Maybe AC could be useful during some nights.
• Hana (9/5): Recommended :) - The location at Ponta do Sol is a great decision. Very kind owner that will care about you! We also had possibility to wash our clothes during the stay. Nice clean apartment with a possibility to breakfast outside the table. Unfortunately, the apartment doesn't have any windows that you can open. Although you have two electronic fans, it can get hot at night if you do not want to sleep with the door open.

• Jiri (10/5): Exceptional - Great hospitality from Maria. We had delayed flight and we were not able to tell her time of arrival. She checked WhatsApp also during the night. In the apartment she gave us some wine, beer, fruits and other sweets. Also our 2 years old daughter got from her a soft toy, she was very happy. The apartment is located very well for discovering the south and west part of the island. It was super clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed staying there. Thank you again for everything.

• Zuzana (7/5): nice owners, clean place but no windows in the rooms other than living room. - the location was good, easy accessible. the hosts were really nice, gave us fruits from the garden and were ready to help if needed. beds were comfortable and apartment was large. the apartment was the attick of the house where the owners lived, therefore the cieling was slopped in every room other then living room. secondly there were no windows in other rooms other than living room so air in the rooms was very still.
• Bartłomiej (10/5): Recommend to visit! - Great stay at Sara House, hosts are really lovely and friendly people who welcomed us with a basket of delicious local fruits. Neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and gave us a nice place to rest after long day of sight seeing. We really enjoyed our stay here. I recommend to try out a nearby restaurant Dos Amigos.
• Vedad (8/5): A well-equipped, family-run accomodation that is a bit up the hill but in a peaceful area overlooking the banana plantat - This beautiful and new apartment is located up the hill from the city centre and is a perfect stay for longer trips. It has everything you need, Mrs. Maria made sure to pay attention to details! 2 bedrooms and 3-4 sleeping spaces total, kitchen with dining table, living room and bathroom. We are especially grateful for the care she provided us, by supplying us with maps and brochures and arranging a welcome-surprise: bowl of local fruits and sweets! 🙏❤️ Hospitality at its best, she even piked us up and drove us to the doors. Pro tip: take the detour on the main road and dont walk up the steepest last street, you’re welcome. 😁 As I said, it is up the hill. We didnt have a rented car, so walking up/down the hill to/from the beach/city centre was simply a longer and labourious hike. Bear this in mind and plan accordingly, it was not that big of a deal for us (a poncha helps up the hill btw :)) Also doggo didnt seem to like us. 😭 Wouldnt stop barking at the slightest sight of us around the house.

• Teresa (10/5): Beautiful hosts, beautiful location, the real local experience. - Perfect place, beautiful location up on a hill. The hosts are the nicest people in the world. Even though their english is basic, communication was never a problem. We spent a whole week with them and were sad to leave :( I hope we will come back!
