• Xaba (7/5): Good - The accommodation was comfortable, it was clean 👌🏾. The estate is close to shops very accessible to everything you might need. My kids enjoyed watching movies 🎬. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the sound of birds chirping in the morning 🌄 ooh and we had a few visitors coming to the lodge ,we saw zebras, worthhog,springboks, and kudus . I was not happy with the pool. The green algae vibe is not looking good 😕. We had issues with the aircon reported to the host, and she promised to send someone the next day, and no one came to check it out .I went and bought a fan just so we don't die of heat as that place was extremely hot.The temperature was around 35 degrees. The next day my husband noticed that it was the main switch plug that was the issue, nothing big by the way.i even reminded the cleaning lady but still 😔
• Wayne (6/5): Overall a nice property with some fixable drawbacks - Modern interior, clean and nicely furnished. Had a pool and boma firepit. Aircons work nicely which is a must. Ceiling fan outside not operational. Shower heads need urgent replacement, they are terrible. Roads on both sides which makes it noisy most of the day. No dishwasher and hairdryer.

• Roy (8/5): suited us perfectly - location and house suited us perfectly. clean and very comfortable rooms kitchen has with fittings and utensils very goo. Water pressure poor in shower and hot water seemed to take a long time to heat.

• Nonceba (8/5): Relaxing and comfortable - We loved the set up and the space. The outdoor area was also so spacious. We were welcomed by a family of warthogs at the entrance when arriving which was so nice to experience. The place had all you need to have a comfortable stay and we really enjoyed our time there, the quiet surroundings and relaxation time. It is private which made it really great and we felt so safe. The additional repellent resources were a great addition. These work great over and above your own repellant and tabard. Would definitely recommend. It would have been really nice to have restocked tea and coffee. The teabag compartment was empty with two wet and old teabags left and the coffee was hard and old. Some nice finishing touches would have been great for the aesthetic and location of the place. Things like restocked items in the bathroom and a cleaning service offered too. Since nobody comes to clean up, it would be awesome having a dishwasher. The pool wasn’t the cleanest and the creepy crawly was only brought out when we were checking out for the next guests, although we had already shared our concerns :(. Some thorough cleaning of the house would be great as lots of corners and spots around the house show the low maintenance. The host was a great communicator and very responsive on the daily as we requested assist! She is sweet! But certain restrictions could have been shared prior to the booking made. We were surprised at a lot of the rules which we only received when we were on our way. Loud music was restricted and reminded more than once with threats of fines but neighbours and surrounding houses played loud music through the night. Would also recommend the hosts give the guests a heads up of cleaning staff arriving the morning of check out. It was a surprise to have cleaning happen over an hour early while trying to pack up to check out on time.
• Rianda (8/5): Very good - Awesome layout of the rooms which are seperate from the kitchen and living area. Love that all the rooms are en-suite. The airconditionars and swimming pool is an absolute must-have in that region, we used it alk the time.

• Malange (1/5): Bad - The host is a crook. When we left i inspected everything and only noticed a broken juice glass. Left it on the counter for the host to see in order to deduct it from the breakage deposit. I even told her that one glass was broken. When i text her enquiring about my money she tells me the drawer has been damaged and a dinner glass is missing meaning i will not be refunded. She is a crook!

• Penelope (6/5): excellent location and safe in the heart of Hoedspruit - Location and lay out, had all facilities and felt safe. Easy to have keys ready in doors -quick and glad not to have to chat long to a host after a long drive, often find some hosts mean well but just too much when you arrive, so like this self check in. Oven was filthy with old stale food, stunk - I reported it and it was cleaned. Toaster never worked, reported it and nothing done about it. Little careless things not noted by host - bedside light not working, crumbs in drawers, just not quite clean enough in kitchen area. Coffee and tea not refilled and almost empty on arrival, though it is a gesture most hosts make a point of a simple kindness and it makes a big difference. The pool unwelcoming as only on last day the Kreepy was working and started to clear, though we did see the guy each morning there. As for the cleaner on the last day we left she arrived we greeted her and she did not even have the courtesy to say hello!

• Desiree (8/5): Bush Stay Experience - Bedrooms and lounge area were nice and comfy. Having the bedrooms on the outside of the house, it was inconvenient during winter. Bedside tables too small. Road is very busy most of the day and noisy.

• Lindsay (8/5): Very good - Nice property and wildlife around. The power station for the TV and wifi didn't work. Lots of bugs in the pool, and couldnt find the net to fish them out. Random people showed up at various times, especially early in the morning, so sleep got disrupted and didn't have much privacy. Stains on the floor in the living room when we arrived. Bed was too hard for my back issues, so my back ended up hurting.
