• Lofthouse (10/5): a short sum is hard, food was great, staff were perfect honest, friendly caring, room and food great - Room had a great view of the beach and the old American dinner, staff were friendly and honest reception, restaurant i had chicken club was best I've had in years good price too, breakfast was great wonderful selection of food and drinks, the bar staff were great good laugh, as i the night porter for hotel du vin i left the nights staff alone as i know how tough it is over all great stay would stay again let me know if you need staff lol nothing it was great i hope the staff all get a raise they deserve it

• Anil (10/5): Our only regret was not booking a longer stay! - The room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, and exceptionally well maintained. We especially appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine, the large and very comfortable beds, and the high-quality bedding, which ensured a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and highly professional throughout our stay. A special thank you to IAN ( night shift) , who listened to our concern, understood our situation, and kindly arranged a room for us on a higher floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be returning. In the meantime, we will be recommending Leonardo Royal to all our friends and family for the wonderful experience we had.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right by the seafront and within easy walking distance of Brighton's attractions, shops, restaurants, and the pier. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing family break.The view from our room was great and made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast offered a great selection of food, with plenty of options to suit everyone. The hotel was well maintained, had a pleasant atmosphere, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time and would happily recommend it to families visiting Brighton. Thank you to all the staff for helping make our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to returning in the future! Made a bday boy really happy! - The breakafast was TOP notch!! 5* just for that, the omlette bar was a nice added touch, the scent on the corridors was delightful and it was my partner's birthday we had a little gift waiting for us at reception which was so lovely of them. Bed was super comfy and the SEA VIEW! WOW! as it was a Sunday we had a nice upgrade, the view was a total vibe!!! Thank you Leonard Royal, we shall be back! We liked it all , no notes! :)

• Pete (8/5): Great location for a weekend in Brighton - Location is perfect, right on the sea front. Nice large bar area for relaxing. Car park is right under the hotel with lift to the reception so nice and easy. Not hotel fault but the phone network was poor, we had problems booking taxis, and paying for taxis as couldn't get signal to book uber so went with local cab firm who couldn't take payment by card easily as their system had no signal.

• Joy (8/5): Good hotel, I recommend - I had a very enjoyable stay and would rate it 8/10. The staff were a real highlight of my experience, particularly the team at the pool/gym area and the bar staff, who were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I also loved the beachfront location, which made it easy to enjoy the seafront and surrounding attractions. The housekeeping service was excellent, with my room being cleaned daily whenever I was out. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future. Overall, I had a very positive stay, and there was only one minor issue during breakfast on my final morning. It appeared that a member of staff responsible for clearing and resetting tables was occupied with her phone for an extended period, which resulted in tables not being cleared promptly and cutlery not being placed on tables as it had been on previous mornings. My partner and I had to wait for a table to be ready and were unsure whether we should collect our own cutlery. We also noticed a few other guests doing the same. This was only a small inconvenience and did not significantly affect our stay. Apart from this, everything else was excellent.
