- Michael (10/5): - The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need for our short break. The owners were really friendly and helpful. The varied assortment of food available for us was a welcome bonus. The view from the lounge is stunning and the location is perfect. That we had to leave and come home!
- Joanne (10/5): Perfect place in a beautiful spot - One of the best places we’ve stayed. Has everything you could want for a short (or even long!) stay and it is extremely comfortable. Wonderful bed and shower. Nice sofa and great well equipped kitchen. The view into the garden is lovely. Very quiet. Owners next door very helpful and the property was easy to find following their instructions.
You cannot walk along the river from the house into the village but you could walk to the pub. We drove to Hickling Broad nature reserve (NWT) which was a great way to see the unique landscape of The Broads and observe the wildlife. Nothing to dislike.
- KeithJ (10/5): Delightful location with exceptional accommodation and facilities. - Everything about this property was excellent and our hosts were friendly and helpful. It's location 14 miles NE of Norwich is ideal for exploring the Broads and the city of Norwich using the Sprowston P&R. The garden at the property is a delight with plenty of wildlife, we even spotted a Ring Ouzel during our stay. We were entirely happy with everything Otters End offered
- Dave (10/5): Great place to stay - The property and the rear garden view are phenomenal. The place was spotless and extremely comfortable. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Nothing

- Sam (10/5): A luxury holiday home-from-home! - Everything about this little annexe just feels like home from home, except with all the upgrades! The decor is both traditional and modern, it feels spacious, and the bifold doors just seal the deal. With the perfect vista across an expanse of garden, a small inlet, a moored boat, plus all the wildlife you didn’t expect, you could happily chill there without leaving the property! The owners leave more options in terms of homeware, kitchen items. and food, than you could ever think to add, and all this provides the perfect package. Not even applicable.
- Colin (10/5): Happy days in Dilham - We loved the Otters End accommodation the first time, and our visit this year reaffirmed that opinion. The breakfast provisions provided are phenomenal, as is the attention to detail in all areas of the accommodation . Nothing.
- Janet (10/5): Second visit, lovely place and super hosts -
- Keithj (10/5): A peaceful retreat with friendly owner on hand. Location perfect for exploring The Broads - Otters End is located in the sleepy village of Dilham with a pub a stones throw away. Set at the end of a tarmac road it has a covered, dedicated parking space for guests. The purpose built apartment is part of the owners home and looks out upon a well tended garden and through which the Nth Walsham and Dilham canal runs. A peaceful, idyllic spot. Nothing

- Mark (10/5): A thank you to the hosts - Second visit to Otter's End, used it to visit friends one of whom is unfortunately unwell. Very pretty setting, lots of wildlife. Well equipped, clean and comfortable accommodation. A special word on the hosts. If you want privacy, they leave you to it but as it transpired, on this stay, we needed to have some communication and they were lovely, very, very helpful and added some specialness to our stay. Now we have found Otter's End it has become our 'go to' when visiting this area. Nothing I can think of.

The hosts are very generous, offering thoughtful extras like toiletries and complimentary food supplies to make you feel instantly at home. The property is set in a peaceful, historical location with stunning views and direct access to a private marina. It’s also perfectly located for exploring the Norfolk coast and other local attractions. I had high expectations based on the reviews, but this place still managed to exceed them. n/a
- Nikki (9/5): Beautiful Holiday Home - well worth a stay - Beautiful location(enjoyed spotting the wildlife) and good base to visit many places, interior homely and well thought out, also clean and tidy with attention to detail, appreciated the Christmas offerings (decs and sweet treats 😊) would recommend to others as we had a lovely stay. Possibly consider replacing sofa - current one not the most comfortable.
- Susan (10/5): Lovely place with a fabulous view - Excellent, peaceful location in a small village within easy reach of the Broads and the coast. Lovely outlook over the garden and private marina from the lounge. Sliding doors opening onto the patio. All your needs catered for and the most generous guest food pack I have ever come across. Thank you both and for the advice re: boat hire later in the year. Highly recommended. Nothing to add here. No complaints.

- Mark (9/5): Superb - Lovely location, nice caring hosts, well equipped especially as they told us they were putting in a new table top over/air fryer. Clean and comfortable and a very useful 'welcome pack' of food. Nothing really, it's a very attractive place and the first place we'll look at when we visit the area again.

- James (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful views very comfortable
- Andy (10/5): Perfect little getaway, in a stunning location. - Otters End was more then we expected. Location is stunning, especially if you like nature and peace and quite. Lots of extras supplied with the place. I would definitely return and recommend it to others. Although Otters End is attached to the host's main house, do not let that put you off. They were discrete yet very helpful, all rolled into one. Couldn't ask for more. Very central for both the Broads and the coast (just 15min drive). I took along a fishing rod and enjoyed stepping out of the apartment and straight to the water edge. I could not really fault it.
- Colin (10/5): We Loved otters end, and will hopefully return . - Very comfortable apartment, exceptionally well equipped and in a nice peaceful location.
- Staniland (10/5): Very peaceful and beautiful location close to the places I wanted to visit. - Everything was as described, beautiful location and apartment, excellent hosts Maureen and David, the supplies of milk, bread, fruit, yogurt etc were much appreciated, I didn't need to buy anything else for a 2 day stay. It was lovely to see lots of wildlife in the garden 4 muntac deer, squirrels, herons and other birds. A very special place and I'll certainly go again. Absolutely nothing!
- Georgiou (10/5): Relaxing and picturesque in a lovely apartment with great hosts - Fantastic location great apartment Having to leave
- Felicity (8/5): Very good - Great gaining access early, thank you, David and Maureen - sorry we didn't get opportunity to meet you personally. Unable to have full length shower as shower tray in danger of overflowing and flooding bathroom.
Poor water pressure in kitchen, particularly having to wait a very long time to obtain hot water.
Only having view to one aspect.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location quiet peaceful retreat. Very high standard accommodation. Ideally placed for visiting North Norfolk Broads and coastal resorts. Highly recommended.
- Lisseman (10/5): Relaxing and enjoyable break - Far more extras than normal for self catering ...toiletries..food ..(eggs, milk, bread, fruit cereals, tea, coffee, fruit as well as sauces ) didn't need to bring anything. Bifold doors that opened out to patio with comfortable furniture and lovely view.. Couldn't think of anything we didn't like ..hosts had ticked off every box.

- Philip (10/5): A WONDERFUL STAY IN A LITTLE PIECE OF PARADISE - Everything. We loved our stay at Otters End. The accommodation was perfect. This is a little piece of paradise. Maureen and Dave were lovely friendly hosts - in fact, we ended up having "happy hour" with them on our last afternoon. The fridge had plenty of food for breakfast - there was also enough for lunch - milk, yoghurt, fruit, bread, cereals, eggs. We could not fault it. Nothing
- Victor (10/5): Exceptional - Relaxing watching the wildlife in a quiet environment.
Otters end was exceptionally clean and well designed.
David and Maureen were very thoughtful and had offered lots of little extras that made our stay very enjoyable. They were very friendly and approachable. There was nothing that we disliked but maybe put in an airfryer and bbq. This would provide more choices for cooking.

David was fantastic and gave us a full run down of all the local places to visit and places to eat. There are a lot of key things included in the kitchen which is a huge bonus. The setting is beautiful and has the perfect terrace to relax and unwind on. Recommend the crown pub which is a short 10 minute walk away. We also enjoyed a lovely Indian take away on our last night from the local oasis Stalham place included in the recommendations section of David’s information booklet. Thoroughly recommended overall. Thank you David and Pauline!

The apartment is so well furnished and comfortable. The fridge and cupboard was stocked with breakfast goodies which was unexpected but very welcome. A lovely sofa and TV too.
There was a little veranda with a wicker table and chairs. Even if raining you could sit out and just take in the peace and quiet.

The shower room luxurious with a large walk in shower. Some toiletries provided in case you forgot to bring your own. Also a hairdryer.
The bedroom and large wardrobe wonderful. The bed was very comfortable.
The hosts Maureen and David were so friendly and welcoming and gave us some useful information about day boat hire and nice places to eat, but there is a folder full of useful information about the surrounding areas.
This was a home from home. Simply lovely. We will be back at the earliest opportunity. There was nothing to complain about or raise any issues with. Nothing at all!

The extra touches provided for breakfast were wonderful ,
Nothing was too much trouble for Dave and Maureen to ensure a fabulous stay. We loved the whole experience and had nothing to complain about.
