- Svenja (10/5): Exceptional - Great Homestay close to the airport! Very clean, quiet and a good bed!
Thank you!
- Roberto (4/5): Only to have a nap and take another flight - Near to the airport They didnt prepared when we arrived so we had to wait. Bedroom and toilet was not really clean.
- Maciej (7/5): Good -
- Caroline (3/5): Poor -
- Lg978989 (7/5): Good -
- Naomi (8/5): Very good - The homestay was easy to find and had kitchen facilities available. Conveniently located very close to the airport. We had no problem checking in and our host kindly got up early to open the gate in the morning for our early departure. Very thin mattress (but nice crisp clean sheets!)
- Alison (7/5): Would recommend if you need to be the airport. There are good places to eat within easy walk. - Location was close to the airport. Great value for money. Hosts provided unlimited tea and coffee and a room to sit and eat in. Mattress was a little thin.
- Masami (10/5): Strongly recommend for all transit travellers! - This is my third times staying this accommodation Very clean and the owner is very kind
- Sarah (7/5): Simple but comfortable and quick access to the airport. - The place is simple but clean. The owner was super kind. I arrived after dark so she accompanied me to the supermarket so I could get some things. Also got up early to open the gates for my early departure. The location is less than 10 mins from the airport. The towel was a little tired and a bit dew stained, but it was clean.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Great location for the airport and pickup /drop off to the ferry terminal. The ferry terminal stop was the Tanoa Skylodge hotel (however further up the road near Colonial Plaza) but easy to walk to once on the main road.
Great air conditioning. When arriving after dark we didn’t feel like going out to dinner due to the local area being quite run down. Several loud dogs barking in the night.
- Traveller8623 (8/5): Very good - Closer to the airport & comfortable stay. Nothing specific.
- Vojtech (9/5): Superb -
- Vojtech (9/5): Superb -
- Aoife (7/5): Good - Owner dropped us to airport, which was very nice
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant -
- Geraldine (6/5): No bus going close to property per airport employees. Need to take taxi and it was a 15 min ride. - No breakfast. Left after 4 hrs for evening flight. Could find light switch in bathroom to take shower. Nobody around to ask. Owner stepped out. Took shower in the dark.
- Travis (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (8/5): Very good - Host was very attentive and the place very clean. Had all the necessary items in the shared kitchen and bathroom.
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Dion (10/5): Exceptional - Large bedroom with ensuite. Shower flow was a bit low, but I was in holiday mode on Fiji time, so a little longer in the shower is no biggy.
- Charity (9/5): Very good the service was great. Good wifi - I like the cleanliness The room was nice and clean but there was no air to breathe in there.
- Jan (8/5): Very good -
- Marie (7/5): Room for small budget and to catch a flight - Close from the airport with restaurant and market nearby The bathroom is kind of old and not super well maintained
- Katherine (6/5): Very clean and affordable but bare minimum - Location was absolutely amazing with a grocery store near by where you could get a taxi, hosts were kind and considerate, everything was super clean and well taken care of Beds were very thin and uncomfortable in the room I was in and just as a reminder, there is no aircon so rooms can get quite hot.
- Akesa (8/5): A short stay of 1 night was pleasant. - I didn't have breakfast . Not much information is provided by the owners about taxi services and shopping centres around the area. Nevertheless I was dropped off to the Taxi base by the owner to go to the Shopping Centre. I was also dropped off at the airport to catch my flight to Suva for a cost of $15.
- Kwok (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts are nice and kind. The place is comfortable and makes sense with the price they offer.
- Jennifer (5/5): Passable -
- Ulunga (6/5): Pleasant -
- Girish (8/5): Stayed just one day, it was pleasant stay - nice room with neat and tidy Location is bit far from main road and less access for transportation like cabs and taxis
- Kian (9/5): Superb - The owners were very kind and helpful. They let us leave some luggage whilst we were away and also when we had a late night plane we were able to use the communal area. It had a communal space with a fridge, toaster etc. It was very close to a good fruit and vegetable market and a great Indian restaurant called Indiana. We could get a bus easily into Nadi town. Nothing
- Julie (8/5): Good for an overnight stay near the airport - Room was clean and big enough for a short stay, with aircon and a decent bathroom.
We didn't use it, but there was a kitchen that could be used for self-catering.
Good location, close to the airport and with a market and restaurants nearby. We recommend the Indiana restaurant.
Lift to airport available for $15.
Pretty good value for Fiji. House was shown in the right location on Google maps so was easy to find, but it would help if the name was on the gate or house to confirm to guests that it was the right place.
Nobody was there to check us in on arrival despite me sending a message with our ETA, which the hosts acknowledged. I tried to call, but nobody answered the phone. So we sat in the garden for an hour waiting for someone to turn up. Not the best welcome!
- Neetu (9/5): Superb -
- Gibbs (5/5): Passable -
- Nicole (5/5): Passable -
- Jehiel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Takayuki (8/5): Very good - So kindly . friendly ❕️and clean
I,m satisfaid verymuch
Thankyou so much❕️
- Elizabeth (6/5): Recommend paying more for the "Nicer room" than this one. - The room and building were very clean and the owners were extremely helpful and kind. They had cold, fresh filtered water available and were able to provide a ride to the airport for only 15fjd. The bunk room does have fans that do a reasonable job of keeping you cool. This homestay has three rooms available, make sure you read closely to which one you are booking. I thought, because I had filtered my search results, I was getting air conditioning. Unfortunately, I did not double check the room description. Only one room has AC. If you look at the reviews, the great reviews are only for the one specific room. Additionally same goes with the photos, it shows a bathroom that only the one room has access to. I was in the bunkbed room and the "mattresses" were 2" foam pads which were not at all comfortable. You're basic just sleeping on a piece of wood. The only other problem was the location, the address listed is not correct and there are no signs to help you find the building. You MUST have a way to call/text the owners to get inside otherwise you will not be able to find it/get in. I would not recommend the bunkbed room, but would recommend the one "nice" room and the owners.
- Cheryl (3/5): Not really for me. Have stayed in backpackers and found that more comfortable and safe - Cheap -get what you pay for in cheap accomodation No spare roll of toilet paper. Netting on window screens had holes so mosquitoes coming in. Had to shut windows and only fans available. Mattress on bunks very thin
Dogs next door barking during the night - not much owner can do about that other than warn clients.
- Anna (8/5): All was good - Simple but good for short one night stay
- Vijay (7/5): Good -
- Dorothy (8/5): A great place and very reasonably priced. - The guest house was very appropriate for an overnight stay on the way to the airport. Very clean and well kept. The mattresses on the bunk beds were very thin and fairly uncomfortable. There also needs to be more information at street level giving the number and also the name of the guest house. It was vey difficult for our taxi driver to find.
- Sela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marym (9/5): Superb - It's quiet. We met lots of other nice travellers here. There's lots of space in the common area. The use of a kitchen is great. You can check in early. The owners are very nice. The mattresses are thin.
- Warwick (5/5): Was useful for the purpose of a brief overnight stay - Air con in bedroom worked well to keep it cool. The bed was firm but comfortable. The owner was helpful in picking us up from the airport, and only charged $15 FJD. Bathroom, while it was not shared with others, it needed some serious maintenance and cleaning. Water pressure was woeful. There were other people in other bedrooms sharing the kitchen and common areas.
- Marym (9/5): Superb - This is a great value homestay near Nadi airport run by a lovely Chinese woman. It is clean and quiet. There is WiFi and use of a kitchen.
- Masami (10/5): Great deal especially for transit travellers. - Very clean and quiet hence super comfortable. Clean and the owner is very kind.
- Kanannang (5/5): Passable -
- Jordan (10/5): Good - Very nice and helpful. Pick us up and bring us to airport.
- Katherine (10/5): Room was clean and host was very friendly. Great value for money, Recommend. -
- Kathleen (8/5): Nice People, Confusing Address - I had to catch my flight too early to have breakfast. I didn't even know that it was included.
The owner's wife took me to the airport at 6:30 AM. She charged much less than a taxi. The building was very hard to find. It's not really on the street where the address indicates. It's down a long gravel road with no street number or name showing. It took several people to help me try to find it. Two people called the owner and asked someone to come out into the street so we could see where the house was.
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional - Clean room, no mosquitoes, warm water in bathroom, air conditioner in good working order, no noise, close to supermarkets and produce market, attentive staff, close to airport.
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Tamara (7/5): Good -
- Kai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terry (9/5): Superb - Nice people, let me check in early to rest (was transiting)
- Cristina (10/5): Exceptional - Host was very helpful with tips on stores n restaurants nearby. Great price and they offered pick up and drop off from airport and ports/ wharfs.
- Jelmer (10/5): Clean homestay, helpful host - Close to the airport, airport shuttle, clean and free laundry
- Cleiton (9/5): Superb -
- Kim (6/5): Pleasant - Close to Indiana restaurant around the corner which did an excellent Indian cuisine. Great food.
- Emali (9/5): Superb -
- Thakur (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely host and clean place....Worth every dollar..
Thank you guys
- Yegneshwaran (5/5): For budget travelers looking for cheap accommodation for a night or two - Its close to the airport. You have shops and restaurants close by. The property is located in a residential area and is quiet and peaceful. The owner cannot speak English fluently but tries to help you in whatever way he can. We had difficulty locating the address of the property. We tried calling the property and no one picked the call. Finally sent a message on WhatsApp and the owner responded. The rooms are small and the aircon was not very effective in one of the rooms.
- Harry (8/5): Very good -
- Adomea (7/5): We did not get the two beds we booked for but the owners were friendly, made us very comfortable - Room was small but comfortable and the owners were friendly and helpful We were expectecting a room with two single beds
- Alison (3/5): Poor - Strongly recommend to check which room you are booking. The rooms with the bunk beds have NO A/C; and the A/C in the common areas was not working, although two fans were provided for each room, it was still very stuffy to sleep in these rooms. It made for a rough, untested night of sleep. The toilet was ok but the shower could’ve been cleaner (aka less mould). Also note that the water pressure is weak. If you’re after full kitchen facilities, this place does not have it either. Thankfully we were only staying 1 night.
- Sonny (7/5): Good - Air conditioning system was great 👍 I think it was overpriced
- Rodrigo (7/5): A convenient and comfortable stay. - Great location for an overnight stay close to the airport. The host was very friendly, and communication was fast and easy. The room and bathroom were spotless.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - comfortable accommodation close to the airport which was ideal to rest following a long flight and before heading to the islands the next day
- Mel (8/5): Very good -
- Masami (9/5): Excellent deal - Clean and convent Nothing
- Jonatan (10/5): Exceptional - Such a kind host and had laundry included Nothing
- Eva (10/5): Convenient stopover location - This was our second stay at Bethel's. It's always nice to come home to a known place. Nice couple who work hard to maintain a clean house for their guests. I recommend staying here on short stopovers. It's a short distance to the airport. The first time, took up the offer of a transfer from the airport. After that, we got to and from the airport by local bus. The bus stop is right at the main road. Wifi is slow at times, but that was a recurring experience throughout our time all over Fiji.
- Subhradeep (9/5): Superb - I had to transit via Fiji and I stayed at their place, it was very peaceful. The owners even dropped me the next morning at 5 AM to the airport.
- Eva (10/5): Recommended stopover accommodation off the main street with restaurants and shops nearby - Very clean and orderly house. The whole ground floor is rented to travellers, while the couple who runs the homestay live upstairs. They are nice and helpful. The room has a good size and has working AC and hot shower in the en-suite bathroom. In the proximity are restaurants, shops and a produce market, as well as a bus stop for the main route between airport and downtown. Though it's close to the main road, it is very quiet. We stayed here a second time and were able to store parts of our luggage while we were away. The wifi connection is a bit slow, but it works.
- Alison (5/5): Passable - Bethel Homestay is very clean. The mattress was very thin foam so felt like I was trying to sleep without a mattress at all.
- Cloé (8/5): Good place to stay near the airport - Our host were very available, it is a good place to stay for this price ! The localisation is not ideal but was good for us to transit.
- Amy (7/5): Very convient and great value to money if need to stay close to airport. - Great proximity to airport. Host drove us to airport for 15fjd. Close to markets.
- Francis (5/5): Comfortable and safe. - I like the fact it serves as accommodation for such a very short stay and transit whilst passing through..
The location is convenient. The room has more furniture than the space needed.
- Gilse (8/5): Very good -
- Niumeitolu (10/5): I love it - Well I need only a place to rest before heading home so I love the quietness of the place which no one disturb my sleep after a 10hours flight from Hong Kong. I love the place😊
- Cherie (8/5): Close to the airport with a comfortable bed with AC. - We stayed one night because it was close to the airport. Our room had A/C and a water filter on the shower. The bed was very comfortable.
- Paul (9/5): It’s nice with good location. - Location I would encourage them to give free breakfast
- Savannah (9/5): Superb -
- Julia (9/5): Superb - This was an ideal place to stay overnight before heading for the islands.
It was clean, there was air-conditioning and the use of a kitchen.
For $15, the owner kindly picked me up from the airport.
- Stéphane (10/5): Great option - The hosts and service Nothing
- Stéphane (10/5): Great option - The hosts
- Phoebe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katrin (8/5): Good option close to airport, very basic - Great place if you need a night close to the airport. Some restaurant options around and very friendly host.
- Shaazreen (9/5): Superb -
- Sally (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jinxin (10/5): Best homestay in Nadi - The hosts were very nice and friendly. They were flexible to accommodate our needs. The place was very clean and spacious. Air conditioner worked well. Walking distance to the fruit market and some local supermarkets. We stayed with them for 2 nights after travelling in Yasawa Island. While the islands were beautiful, we looked forward to an air-conditioned, comfy room with a hot shower - this homestay offers exactly that. Wifi was also very fast. It’s very close to the airport so it was a great last stop in Fiji for us. If you would like to go to a nicer pub or restaurant, you can catch a taxi for $8 Fijian to the beach. Make sure you ask the taxi driver to use meters. We were ripped off by taxi drivers all the time when we were in Fiji until the host of this accommodation reminded us to ask the taxi drivers to use meters. Nothing! Would definitely stay with them again if I ever go back to Nadi.
- Saez (5/5): Good location but really bad experience with the ameneties, cleaning and no space in the room. - I liked the location, close to some supermarkets, namaka market and some fast food restaurants. You also can finde the bus stop less than 5 minutes walking from the home stay! As a home stay it would be nice to offer some food to the guest, but you have a stove you can use and a fridge as well.
The price was decent. What I didn’t like is that our room has bunk bed, and when i saw the room it said 2 single bed, a bit confusing! The room was also too small and really bad distributed with no space to move around! Be aware that from the 4 rooms just one has king bed, the others just bunk bed..
- Ronalyn (6/5): Owner was very accommodating, they offered airport pick up and drop off aswell - Near the airport
- Cisse (7/5): Good - Very friendly owners that are flexible
- David (9/5): Nice clean room! - Very nice clean room with everything you need. The owner is super friendly and even pick us up at the airport. The room was spacious and everything runs perfectly. Recommended! It is a but far from the most interesting parts of Nadi, but you can take a taxi or bus easily.
- Raymond (7/5): Quiet and comfortable - Location to the airport None
- Anderson (8/5): A real gem when conducting pragmatic travel - Very accommodating staff--got in at 5:30am after a redeye flight, travelling with a toddler, and needed a late checkout. They accounted for all of these elements graciously, met us at the gate to welcome us despite the early hour, and offered a toy for the kid. The room was simple and felt very clean (again, a plus when managing a toddler), there was proper hot water in the shower, and wifi was strong. They provide coffee essentials and the house is only steps away from the Namaka open market (for fresh fruits) and the main road/functional stores. Assuming you are comfortable away from the tourist-centric areas, you can't beat the value/convenience.
- 'akanesi (10/5): It was beautiful. - The location was perfect because a couple metres out were supermarkets and restaurants as well as the bus stop. The airport wasn't that far and the owner was really nice because she allowed us to stay in the living room and use the facilities even after we checked out because our flight left later in the evening but we needed to check out in the afternoon.
- Uladzislau (9/5): Perfect place, close to airport - Perfect and Clean place to overnight close to the airport. Transfer available for 15 FJD. Very kind owners.
