• Sajjad (10/5): Hospitality at its finest. - Family run hostel with a homely feel. Proprietor Gita and her husband Idris are the loveliest couple I have the pleasure in meeting. They went above and beyond the call of duty to be of assistance and accommodating. Hospitality at its finest!! Will definitely be visiting and recommending ito all n the future. Bravo. Bravo

• JOHN (8/5): Cool, hidden hostel - I liked the owners of the hostel, they were very helpful and friendly- for example lending us an extension lead to charge devices in the room (only one socket). Because of the layout of the hostel it felt a bit like a home stay so it's good that the owners provide such friendly hospitality and made all the guests feel welcome. The hostel was very clean and very cool decor, stayed in the six bed dorm which was spacious and nicely comfortable mattress Location was very good, only a few mins walk from the blue gate which leads into the medina area so lots of nice restaurants etc close by. Like a speakeasy bar the location is a little hidden away, it's located on the ground floor of an apartment building and the only signage says people sleeping rather than the name of the hostel. There are plenty of signs outside on the street guiding you in so it was easy enough to find, just a little confusing at first! And the sliding door to the bathroom was a little noisy on it's runners so had to try to be quiet if other people are sleeping.
• Annette (10/5): Charming little palace hidden just behind the front line. - I really enjoyed my stay at Speakeasy Hostel. It is easy to reach by taxi and located on the edge of the old medina, accessible through a small archway and a little alley at the back, you have to recognize the sign board up. The hostel is beautifully decorated and very clean. Nearby there is a wonderful park to relax in, as well as several small restaurants and shops. Ghita and Driss are incredibly warm, kind, and hospitable. Emran, their sweet little son, enriched my stay in such a refreshing and lovely way. The 6-bed dorm is spacious and even has a sofa to relax on. It also has its own bathroom, which always smelled fresh and clean. Ghita even offers cooking classes. Thank you so much for your heartfelt hospitality. I would happily come back anytime.

• Younal (10/5): Zellige partout. - Un hostel qui a compris ce que les voyageurs cherchent vraiment. Après des dizaines d’hostels à travers le monde, je commence à avoir l’œil. Le Speakeasy Fes fait partie de la rare catégorie de ceux qui ont saisi quelque chose d’essentiel : l’expérience compte autant que le lit. L’ambiance est soignée, l’accueil humain et sans script, et on sent une vraie réflexion derrière le concept. Ce n’est pas un hébergement par défaut, c’est un choix. La médina de Fès est déjà un labyrinthe sensoriel — ici on y trouve un ancrage. Ce qui m’a particulièrement frappé : la cohérence entre ce qui est vendu en ligne et ce qu’on vit sur place. Dans ce secteur, c’est loin d’être acquis. Ça parle d’une gestion sérieuse et d’une vraie identité de marque. Je reviendrai. Et je recommande sans hésitation à tous les voyageurs qui cherchent plus qu’un dortoir — ceux qui voyagent avec intention. Pas de rooftop.

Acabei entrando no hostel quando nao havia ninguém la, e nao gostei do que vi. Imediatamente eu me retirei e procurei outro local. Mas fotos, é lindo! Ao vivo precisa melhorar muito. Um cheio de mofo e umidade muito forte, sujeira e a localização é muito questionável.

• Anne Sophie (7/5): Bon séjour en toute simplicité pour un couple en quête de découvertes - Emplacement. Plan de la medina et des alentours présenté le soir même. Personnel prêt à répondre à nos questions. Manque de respect de certains voyageurs bruyants. Absence de serviette de toilette. Peu de souplesse quand on a demandé d avoir le petit déjeuner 30 voire 15 mn avant l heure. Chambre sans air(pas de ventilation)

• Jan (5/5): - Staff only. Very nice guy. The lights in the toilet was busted. Quite a small room for 6people. It was rainy, so part of the hostel was also wet because the roof/ceiling was broken/not fixed. They also dont give a key, and the door is always not locked, though reception staff is always available. There is no locker available. There is only one outlet for the whole room of 6.

La chambre n’était pas propre, nous avons trouvé un ongle dans les draps… La chambre n’était pas ergonomique, nous ne pouvions pas nous lever (très basse hauteur de plafond).
• Matteo (1/5): Sketchy place with rude owner - Location Rude owner, smokes inside and is dodgy. Place is quite dirty and doors cannot be closed not even the main one, everyone can enter. The street is very sketchy too.

Sin embargo, pude observar que no se cambian las sábanas y no hay servicio de limpieza los domingos. Uno de los baños no funciona debido que no haya conexión eléctrica.

• Arely (10/5): - Me hospedé en este hotel ubicado justo a unos pasos de la Medina y mi experiencia fue excelente. Desde el primer momento el manager Said fue increíblemente amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar con una sonrisa. Su trato fue tan cálido que parecía familia, realmente presente y pendiente de cada detalle para que mi estancia fuera perfecta. La ubicación es ideal para recorrer la zona a pie, las habitaciones son cómodas y el ambiente del lugar es muy auténtico y acogedor. Me sentí segura, bien recibida y como en casa. Sin duda volvería y lo recomiendo ampliamente a cualquier persona que visite la Medina. Un servicio humano y excepcional que marca la diferencia.
• Sakiiiiii (9/5): フェスでの充実した時間を過ごせました！ - モロッコらしい家の作りと、タイルの壁が可愛かったです。バックパッカーの私にとって、宿泊費の安さはもちろんですが、ここではフレンドリーなスタッフのsaidがいて、まるで親戚のような安心感のあるリラックスした時間を過ごせました。彼はフェスの街の情報をなんでも教えてくれました。また、何がトラブルがあればなんでも連絡して良いと言いました。実際に連絡することはありませんでしたが、帰宅した時にもこまめに気にかけてくれて、滞在中ひとりで観光する時も安心感がありました。 清潔さに関しては、毎日床を水を流して綺麗に掃除してくださいました。朝ごはんもシンプルですが十分です。ドミトリーに宿泊したので共有のバスルームでしたが、私には十分でした。共有が苦手な方には、そもそも合わないかもしれません。2泊しましたがルームメイトとも情報交換ができ、本当に良い時間を過ごしました。おすすめです！お世話になりました！ セキュリティボックスがないので、荷物を置いて散策する際は、個人のキーをかけていく必要があると思います。宿の立地自体は奥にあるので他人が入ることはまず無いと思いますし、基本的にスタッフの誰かが宿にいるので整理しておけば気になりませんでした。

Er zijn geen handdoeken wat je ook niet kunt verwachten misschien voor die prijs ; maar als je die zou kunnen huren bij het hostel zou top zijn.

• Nurdai (8/5): tolle Lage, super nette Gastgeber. - Der Personal war sehr nett und freundlich, alles dargestellt und vieles empfohlen. Hilfsbereit und lieb. Die Lage ist top. Ausstattung sah ziemlich süß aus. Leider gab es keine Klimaanlage, obwohl es in Booking steht. Das war uns wichtig, aber Personal hat uns Ventilator gegeben und Problem halb gelöst. Jedoch war es trotzdessen sehr warm und stickig. Im Zimmer gab es keine Fenster, sodass man keine frische Luft bekommt. Waschbecken und Dusche sind etwa kaputt. In Hostel geben die keine Handtücher, auch wenn es Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad ist. Uns wurde netterweise doch gegeben, was wir toll fanden, aber hatte sehr unangenehmen Geruch, sowie ganze Bettwäsche.

• XINHUA (1/5): Too bad - There was no kitchen, no refrigerator, no luggage case, the worst part is that there wasn’t even a fan, while local temperature was more than 40 degrees, I really couldn’t bear it anymore and had to end my stay early. This was the first time I had encountered such a poor hostel.

• Taliesin (9/5): Fez Hostel - Right at the touristy entrance side of the medina with a bunch of other accommodations, lots of tourist-centered restaurants near by. A 5-7 minute walk to the main roads of the medina. Breakfast every morning of some fried scrambled egg, bread, jam, and butter. Excellent service from the hosts of the hostel. They got roaches, big roaches, small roaches (mostly in the shower) - its in a densely populated area, its kind of expected, the place is otherwise clean.
