Guest Reviews
- Diane (6/5): It suited our purposes but would needs a bit of fixing and refreshing. - There was lots of room, there was on street parking, it was very quiet when we were there. The kitchen was very well stocked. The heating had been left on and it was warm, it was generally clean. The house needs some tlc. One of the kitchen doors was broken, one of the internal doors looked like it had been kicked in at some point and it all looks and feels a bit tired. It is a bit of a distance to the city centre and the bay but we were aware of that beforehand.
- Bethan (5/5): - Perfect location for us.
Ample space for 7.
Clean. Property tired and needed updating.
Needed minor repairs.

- Anonymous (3/5): Disappointing and I would not recommend. - We really liked the heating system - it was incredibly easy to use and it warmed up the house quickly (needed on a winter’s day in Wales!!). Check-in instructions were also very clear and concise. While the house has real potential, unfortunately there were too many issues around cleanliness in the property. There were several bags of rubbish piled up outside, and several items in the house just had not been properly deep cleaned in a long time (there were several - not just one - plates with caked on bits of food, the cafeterie had dried coffee on the plunger, the knobs on the job had a sticky film on them, and the bin lid was covered with dried mess. And that was just in the kitchen! Blankets on the bed with makeup stains and a portion of false eyelashes, a cigarette butt in the living room… I think you get the idea). Overall, it just had an unclean feeling to the place. I think if I were in Cardiff as a young 20-something, there to party and crash out, it’d be fine. But I certainly would not return there with children and sad we had such an unpleasant stay, and weren’t offered any compensation when these issues were raised with the owner of property, even though we had been in the house for less than 24 hours and the photos provided clearly demonstrated mess that had been building up.
- Johnson (10/5): Exceptional - Value for money, good location.
