Guest Reviews
- Janice Kulka (10/5): - The staff were kind and accommodating.
- Milko (9/5): -

- Violetta (9/5): fabulous quirky hotel in central Cusco - quirky hotel with antique furnishings, very comfortable bed, lovely staff bit noisy if your room is facing the street
- Jeff (8/5): Great place, and we recommend Organika down the street for breakfast. - Nice boutique feel, with balcony, in an excellent location. Breakfast was below what we had at other lodging. Coffee had to be microwaved, and beyond excellent fruit, there were limited options.
- Christian (10/5): - Great location in Cusco for those early morning tours. The room wooden floors were a bit noisy when walking.
- Nori (9/5): -
- JC-Torres (10/5): - I loved this place.. It is better than more expensive hotels in Cusco.. give it a shot.. We felt like royalty staying at this place.
- Silvia (6/5): - Emplacement Service de petit dejeun⅕é
- Rolf (2/5): - Nothing The staff was arrogant and didn't care about anything.
The rooms were disorganized furnished
The hall was badly furnished
The breakfast room was cramped
The attention by the staff was non existing
The price was completely out of order

- Sangeet (10/5): Perfect. The staff was very helpful, the room was beautiful and clean. - Very beautiful and clean and felt very welcoming Nothing
- Liliana (10/5): -
- Edith Luz (9/5): - Staff amigable, buen desayuno, aseado, buena ubicación.
- Melissa (10/5): Stay here. Excellent!! - Breakfast was superb! Staff was super welcoming and heartwarming. Very accommodating and hospitable. Rate was very affordable especially since we were so close to centre of Cusco and walking distance to many attractions. Highly recommend the quadruple rooms. The view was amazing on the third floor. If we ever get back to Cusco, we will be staying here!! (This also coming from a picky person.)
- R (10/5): - The location amd setting were supera. The staff were delightful and extremely helpful with everything. Everything was azimg
Ex. Lavare un asciugamano. Grazie al lavoro di Will siamo comunque riusciti a farci capire.
- Mark (10/5): - Location, breakfast with fresh fruits, value all great.
- Silvia Luna M. (8/5): -
- Alyssa (8/5): Lovely staff, great location, very comfy - Very comfortable beds, lovely staff who packed breakfast bags for us as we couldn’t attend the buffet breakfast both mornings Very dusty, needs more thorough vacuuming in bathroom and bedroom
- R (10/5): - Great hotel very close to the Plaza de Armas, the staff were helpful. Breakfast was generous Nothing to complain about
- Sergio (10/5): Great location and great staff - Courteous and helpful staff.
- Kathy (9/5): -
- Rodolfo (10/5): -
- Rodolfo (10/5): - Las instalaciones El precio alto
- Fernando (9/5): -
- Oscar vargas. (10/5): -
- Martin (8/5): Tolle Lage, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, gutes Hoteldas man empfehlen kann - Tolle Lage, stilvolle Einrichtung, sehr gute Betten, super funktionsfähiges Bad mit guter Dusche. Sehr freundliches Personal.
Nada
- Lucie (7/5): -
- Troppe (9/5): We enjoyed two different stays at this hotel and would certainly consider staying here again. - The location was amazing, the property was historic and unique, the hot showers were terrific, the breakfast was nice and included lots of fresh fruit and fruit juices every morning, the staff was welcoming and helpful. There are a lot of stairs and uneven steps, so if you have mobility limitations, this would not be the best place to stay.

- Eneeth (8/5): -
- Amirsajjad (7/5): -
- heloiza (8/5): -
- Victor (10/5): -
- Marta (9/5): - Very nice hotel in great localization. Beautiful colonial-style room. Comfortable bed, heating, and a hot, powerful shower. Delicious buffet breakfasts and excellent coffee. Friendly service. Internet problems. I recommend earplugs - it's an old building with wooden ceilings, so you can hear everything.
Weinig room service. Zeer mager ontbijt, afschuwelijke koffie.
- Caroline (9/5): Lovely stay in Cuzco - Close to everything Not best at cleaning
- Helena (10/5): - Omg the bed is so comfy amazing staff and I love the decoration in the hotel colonial style
No safe in the room I asked before staying and they told me there was a safe but there was not so I had to use my suitcase with a combination lock.
No wardrobes provided and no bathrobes not a deal breaker but it would have been nice.
Bruno on Reception was fantastic he speaks fairly good English and was very helpful during our stay.
Nice breakfast provided. Very empathetic towards my altitude sickness I was very sick. 😞 No safe in the room, I think this should be provided.
No wardrobes so I could not unpack my suitcase
- Quentin (10/5): -
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Roy (8/5): Very good - Location Busy street
- Patricia (9/5): Beautiful hotel with a fantastic breakfast and great central location. - Pillow too thick. Should have one thinner pillow
- Elena (9/5): Superb - Very old style vibe of the hotel, very central 5 min walk from main square.
- Carole (8/5): Luxurious hotel - The hotel is absolutely beautiful red and gold and luxurious.
Breakfast was plentiful and 😋 delicious.
Good location too. Around 10-15 mins by taxi to San Pedro train station. Close to restaurants and shops. The room was absolutely freezing when we were there May 2025. We should have asked how to get the room warmer but were so tired after our travels to Machu Picchu we didn't.
The hotel says its a boutique hotel, but there were no toiletries in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have just basic shower and hair shampoo. Small thing but a little disappointing. That said lovely hot shower.
- Barbara (9/5): Superb -
- Roy (9/5): Superb -
- Barbara (9/5): Superb -
- Hendriatta (10/5): Had a very nice and comfortable stay at Casona Corrales. - The staff provided excellent service (we had to reschedule our stay, store bags at 3 am to leave for a 2 day tour, check out at 5:30 am - they accommodated our needs without concern), rooms were beautiful and clean, and the bed as well as comforter were very comfortable. Excellent location as well The wifi was bit sporadic and unpredictable and the noise from the street might bother some people (though we were not bothered by it)
- Todd (10/5): Best value in Cusco - Location, price and room . . Great bed! Very boutique inn. The breakfast.
- Nash (10/5): It was beautiful with spatious rooms and reasonably priced that provided a home base for adventure. - The hotel was not far from the Plaza de Armas. We did not have much of a view from our window, but we did not have any street noise either. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to keep our luggage their while we hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. The lobby and rooms were beautifully decorated. No complaints.
- Julio (6/5): Pleasant - Decorations Since the floor is wooden, tours usually start early in the morning, and the guests in the room above us made a lot of noise with their footsteps, so was complicated to us sleeping well at that moment.
- Julio (6/5): Pleasant - Decorations Since the floor is wooden, tours usually start early in the morning, and the guests in the room above us made a lot of noise with their footsteps.
- Rafael (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff, comfortable room, excellent location No complaints, Everything was fine
- Kosta (9/5): Superb - Very unique hotel. Charming
- Straughter (5/5): Wish I had stayed somewhere nicer. - Great location and nice balcony. No body wash, no face towels, they required you to pay at checkin. Also, the rooms were not sound proof. I could hear people in the other rooms, talking and walking around and I could hear people on the hallway talking, which disturbed my rest. They also charged 5 soles for dirt on a towel, which towels get dirty when used.
- Eyal (10/5): Exceptional - Great location close to plaza del armas. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Highly recommended All good
- Sergei (9/5): Beautiful place with historic atmosphere - Very beautiful room with cosy interior
- Stacy (9/5): Returned for the Decor and Great Location! - I stayed at this hotel for the first time some years ago and returned again when I went back to Cusco this year. I find it to be a great value for the price. The decor is lovely, the woodwork everywhere is gorgeous, the staff are helpful, location is perfect, and the rooms are quite large. The hotel seems to a have new policy they have tacked up in the rooms where they say you'll be charged extra if the towels or sheets are soiled. I found that to be odd and confusing for a hotel.
- Olenka (8/5): Very good -
- Stacy (10/5): Ornate hotel in a great location! - Breakfast was good, the hotel and rooms were gorgeous, and the staff were very attentive and helpful. This was my second stay at this hotel. Would recommend! Check out was at 10am, and they had pretty strict rules regarding not staining the towels, which seemed odd. The staff did seem willing to be flexible and helpful with extra towels, though.
- Andres (5/5): Passable -
- Ajleeta (8/5): Very good - The breakfast was delicious (fresh fruit, bread, juice, yogurt, avocado, meat and cheese) every day. The location is about as central in Cusco as you can get (nothing was more than a 15 minute walk). The room was extremely loud, from the people above us, in the hotel and outdoors.
- Ursula (7/5): Ok. - I loved the breakfast. Lots of fresh fruit, including berries and avocado, fresh real juice, delicious coffee.
It has a spa where they give really good massages and treatments. It needs an energy cleaning.
- Shawn (8/5): The hotel was fun and very close to everything - It is close to everything. The hotel is amazingly decorated in the rooms and in the lobby. The breakfast is good and lots of it. The staff are wonderful and will give you lots of advice and help. Nothing
- Badr (10/5): Will definitely be back - The Hotel was clean , the design was and style was great. The staff were super friendly. And the placement of the Hotel was near the center .
- Jackie (9/5): Superb -
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luis (10/5): Gorgeous colonial mansion with period furniture. Wonderful staff. - Beautiful, historic, colonial mansion with exquisite wood carvings; a living museum. Great period furniture. The receptionist was very corteous, extremely considerate and helpful. We arrived past midnight and had to leave early, so he personally prepared us a "to go breakfast" and left it with our names at the reception. All good.
- Alarna (8/5): Very good - The location of this hotel is excellent - very close to lots of sights and restaurants in Cuzco. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a fabulous massage at the hotel spa. Interesting decor throughout the hotel. There was quite a bit of noise coming from the room upstairs due to lack of insulation on the ceiling.
- Stephanie (3/5): Nice staff, horrendous beds - The staff were helpful and kind The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and they have this soap on the sheets that’s so harsh they all felt sticky and wet. The towels and sheets all had a blue hue to them because of the harsh cleaning chemicals. It must have been something bad as I ended up feeling very congested when I slept on a pillow and had to strip the bed to sleep.
Included free WiFi.
- Lawrence (8/5): Great location and breakfast - Good breakfast with lots of fruits and smoothies. Eggs were cooked to order; fresh breads with butter, jam or cheese and ham. Avocados were fresh and beautiful every morning.
Location is very close in town with no steps or hills.
Rooms were quiet with the exception of lousy neighbors.
Large room and the triple room has no one on top of them.
There was a massage place inside the hotel but it was amateurish and we don’t recommend it.
The young man who checked me in was friendly and brought all my bags up the stairs. Wifi wasn’t the best.
Walls are thin. If you have lousy neighbors, you can hear them talking in their rooms.
Heaters has remote control but the front desk people has to turn it on for you. They have to go into your room to turn it on and off. Completely, inconvenient since you have to go downstairs and upstairs again.
no air conditioning. Room can get really hot if the windows are closed. If you open the windows, there are no screens so you risk having mosquitoes in the room with you.
Coffee was thick and dark.
- Panmella (3/5): Frustrating, I paid an absurd amount for the stay, had sleepless nights out of fear of the rodent, and not once did they - The kindness of the staff and of the decoration. A more detailed cleaning is needed, as there was dust on the furniture. The bath towels should be larger and of better quality. Additionally, during the first two nights, there was a rat in my room, so the hotel needs pest control. They claimed this had never happened before, and I had to show them a video of the rodent for them to believe it.
- Bernard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Artemis (8/5): Very good -
- Suzan (8/5): Good location, nice Authentic old palace. - Very Authentic Classic Old House of a previous bishop, which gives a great sense of history . Very clean , staff are helpful,
Breakfast was basic but with different varieties of fresh fruits. Kitchen staff were very friendly.
Location is very good.
Beds are comfy.
Room was heated Staff most of them don't speak English it took me more than an hour to check in with a confirmed booking because the lady in reception didn't know the procedures and didn't know much English.
There is No water boiler in the room , so every time you want to have cup of tea you have to get out of your room to the reception area.
Floors are made of wood , so it might become a bit disturbing when someone is moving around early in the morning.
- Pegah (8/5): Would stay here again - Great location, very roomy, great ambiance, clean, good breakfast, very kind staff. Staff didn't speak English, no elevator
- Adrian (7/5): Good -
