However, the experience fell well short when it came to service and the way guests are treated. We had a 2pm checkout, but at 11am staff were already knocking on our door asking us to leave, with no prior warning or explanation. An uncomfortable and unnecessary situation that left a very negative impression. We only stayed one night at this hotel and, despite it having the best facilities of all the hotel that we stay, it was by far the worst in terms of hospitality. When the service fails like this, everything else loses its value. We would not recommend it.

Clémence (6/5): - Bon rapport qualité-prix pour un séjour près des pyramides. L’hôtel est simple et pas très cher, avec le petit-déjeuner inclus, ce qui est appréciable. L’emplacement est pas mal : à côté des pyramides avec une très belle vue depuis le rooftop. Le petit-déjeuner est assez copieux et le monsieur du petit-déjeuner Ambr Bak a été super : aimable, souriant, serviable et toujours prêt à donner des conseils. Le reste du personnel est également accueillant et sympathique. L’hôtel et les chambres mériteraient un meilleur entretien. La salle de bain était un peu vieillissante avec quelques odeurs et des fuites. Il y a aussi énormément de moustiques : je me suis fait beaucoup piquer, ce qui a rendu certaines nuits assez désagréables.
Juan Facundo (8/5): Algo bueno y algo malo - El hotel se encuentra en lugar donde es un barrio privado en el cual no entran tanta gente, poco conocido por lo que vi, muy pocos Uber entran a la zona pero bien. El personal de recepción nos recibió cuando llegamos a las 4:00AM ya que por migraciones demás problemas tardamos. Pero muy bien ya que llegamos y el aire no funcionaba nos cambiaron de habitación a una que funcionaba, El desayuno es muy bueno y completo. La pileta está bien vista a las pirámides y todo muy bien.El aire congelaba. Lo malo es el wifi por momentos funcionaba bien otros no, hicimos el reclamo y lo arreglaron y anduvo muchísimo mejor, muy pocas veces andaba mal pero tampoco andaba súper bien. La limpieza algo sucio debajo de las camas había cosas que dejaron otras personas que se hospedaron ahí. La limpieza diaria no la realizan pensamos que sí pero nunca preguntamos. Ya que siempre salimos temprano y no había nadie.Dato muy importante llevar un Anti mosquito no sé cómo pero entraban era molesto. Otra cosa en la habitación de alado había una persona que fumaba 24/7 y el olor venía a nuestra habitación algo horrible y espantoso. Es un buen hotel pero tiene cosas que mejorar para llegar más lejos.

Israt (8/5): A relaxing stay with stunning pyramid views and warm hospitality. - I had a great stay at Sofia Pyramid Hotel in Giza. The breakfast was excellent, especially on the rooftop with an amazing view of the Pyramids. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling and welcoming, and the reception team was very helpful. The hotel is in a quiet area, making it a relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended! the balcony wasn’t cleaned despite paying extra, the cabinet was small and not very functional, the rooftop restaurant is pricey, and there are no nearby shops.

Here’s a polished, balanced review that keeps it constructive and fair: We recently stayed at the hotel and felt that, while it has great potential, there are a few areas that would benefit from more attention to detail. There were some maintenance issues in the room, such as the board around the electrical socket coming loose whenever the lights were used. We also noticed items like black bags left on the landing, which gave an untidy impression. In the dining area, the decorative foliage, although a nice idea, was unfortunately quite dusty. At breakfast, the service experience could be improved. We found the waiter to be unresponsive and had to go to the kitchen ourselves to place an order, which was not what we expected. That said, the hotel itself has some lovely features and could easily be a fantastic place to stay with a bit more care and attention. I would also like to mention Mohammed at reception, who did his best to accommodate us and was very helpful during our stay. Overall, the staff were polite, but a greater focus on cleanliness, maintenance, and attentive service would really help this hotel reach its full potential.

Also, the staff automatically added 10% to the final price despite the Booking.com saying all fees and taxes are included in the price. Let me warn you - expect to pay an additional 10%, because the staff will pressure you into it. Also, breakfast included does not include drinks - one needs to pay for all drinks separately. It would be helpful if that was marked on the Booking site to make it clear.

Bethan (10/5): - The staff here are truly amazing and so friendly! I can only remember one of their names, Amr Bakr. They go above and beyond. Loved the out door deck with the view of the pyramids. The breakfast is really good and the evening menu is also really good. Truly a lovey stay! There isn’t any small supermarkets near by.

Angelika (6/5): - Nice view from the terrace. The hotel is very far from everything. There is no supermarket, no restaurant nearby. The water of the pool is very cold, impossible to go in. We booked more days in advance in that hotel but after the first night we changed and booked other hotel. The staff does not speak English.

Csaba (10/5): Best Value Hotel in Egypt - The room is clean and well-equipped, and the bed is the perfect size. The rooftop with the view and the pool is great. The people are so kind and happy. They are the best I've met in Egypt so far. The reception supported us before we landed. Sent a driver to the airport, helped us with booking and extra activities. Mr Ambakr - made our breakfast every morning and coffee every evening - is magical, one of his kind.

Jun (8/5): - I messaged the hotel if I can get early check in because my flight arrived at 5am. So they messaged me back saying “ok”. And then during the check in, they charged me additional 10USD. Also, wifi wasn’t working inside our rooms so we have to use our data. Breakfast starts at 8am, I hope it’s earlier than that.

Hygiene muss leider noch geübt werden - Ein neues kleines Hotel mit improvisierter Rezeption und nach vorne großen Zimmern mit Balkon und nach hinten kleinere Zimmer mit kleinen Fenstern die für Familien mit den großen verbindbar sind. Lift und zentrales Treppenhaus und vor allem eine wirklich Tolle 2 stöckige Dachterasse mit Pool Glasumrandet und herrlichem Ausblick auf die Giza Pyramiden und immer Sonne, sowie mit Restaurant vom Frühstück bis 22 Uhr ein Koch da, der sich Mühe gibt individuell was zu brutzeln, da nicht alles von der Karte vorrätig, aber man wird günstig satt. Kein Alkohol im Hotel. Immer Fahrer oder Abholung zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten, Pyramiden, Sphinx, Grosses Ägyptisches Museeum besorgen ost zwar in Sichtweite aber nicht und unangenehm (!) fußläufig! Das Problem ist die Sauberkeit ... es wird nur nach Auszug sauber gemacht und je nach Belegung befindet sich überall eine Staubschicht auch auf dem Fußboden ... und die Marmorkachelung im Bad wird leider nicht gepflegt und die Armaruten in der Dusche verkommen und fangen sogar an zu rosten ... Alles mit wirklich Geschmack und Stil eingerichtet aber keiner kümmert sich um die Pflege und Sauberkeit sonst wäre es wirklich ein MEGASpot ... aber bei dem Preis ( unter 20 Euro die Nacht) kann man nicht Meckern!!!
Raissa (10/5): Nossa estadia foi excelente! - O que mais gostamos no hotel foi sem dúvidas a hospitalidade. Asmaa na recepção foi super solicita, fez de tudo para a comunicação ser mais clara pois ninguém no grupo é fluente em inglês. Nos atendeu muito bem e respondia tudo bem rápido. O café da manhã delicioso com vista para as pirâmides se tornou ainda mais especial com o atendimento do nosso amigo Amr Bakr que também na mediu esforços para comunicar conosco. Enfim, tivemos uma experiência incrível! Só tivemos um problema com cheiro de cigarro no nosso quarto, acredito que ficamos numa ala para fumantes, mas o recepcionista da noite (não consigo lembrar o nome) prontamente nos atendeu com um “spray” que tirou o cheiro do ambiente.
Sylvie (5/5): Sans plus j’y suis allé car après 6h de recherche avec tous nos bagages fallait bien que l’on se pose quelque part - La chambre était spacieuse dans un quartier très calme et résidentiel nous avons été obligé de nous loger dans cet hôtel car notre hôtel initial a été annulé le jour de notre arrivée et les deux autres que j’avais tenté de réserver sur Booking à la Hatte une fois arrivée sur place, nous disait qu’ils étaient complets aussi au final je me suis retrouvé avec un hôtel que je devais payer 83 € pour la semaine avec mes 2 fils, et je me suis retrouvé avec un hôtel à 270 € comment dire que cela a explosé un peu mon budget vacances Le ménage était à demander tous les jours sinon ce n’est pas fait et bien que le petit déjeuner était inclus il était servi à table et non sous forme de buffet et du coup ne parlant pas la langue et malgré Google traduction on me servait que des choses que je ne mangeait pas notamment le salé.

Paula (9/5): Schön - Sehr gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis Wir waren dort als Pärchen + unsere Familie + unsere Nachbarn und das ist unsere Meinung: Lage leider etwas abgelegen von Sehenswürdigkeiten aber mit Uber voll okay Es gab immer 2 Mitarbeiter die jeden Tag im Restaurant bedient haben (Früh und Abends) Einer der beiden Mitarbeiter im Hotel Restaurant war gelangweilt, unfreundlich und nicht zuvorkommend. Er hat auch nie gelächelt Leider zieht das den tollen Aufenthalt wieder etwas runter Schade dass einer sich total Mühe gibt und der andere alles wieder kaputt macht Die anderen Mitarbeiter waren super Menschen :)) ich weiß leider nicht wie er heißt, aber einer der beiden, die das Restaurant immer „betreut“ haben war sehr sehr zuvorkommend, lustig und freundlich Großes Lob an ihn :) Der Pool war zwar klein und schmutzig und die Zimmer nicht krass ausgestattet ABER für diesen günstigen Preis war es echt ein überraschend schöner Aufenthalt Danke euch !! 🤍

Isa (7/5): Guter Aufenthalt mit super Blick - Schönes Zimmer, super Terrasse mit Blick auf die Pyramiden. Aber das beste war das Personal. Sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit Wlan war wirklich schwach bis gar nicht vorhanden. Pool klein, aber das war bereits auf den Bildern zu erkennen.

I was given two individual bedrooms that too I had to wait for 2 hours in midnight (I booked room for previous day to check in comfortably) 2. Heater in AC is not working efficiently in room 201. 3. Cabinet draws (pull out draws once you enter room) were not closing. Even if you close they are opening in room 201 4. Fridge not working 5. Room not cleaned unless you tell (especially refilling milk powder/coffee powder/water bottles/floor towel). 6. Not provided iron box even after requesting 7. Saw used plates/cups in corridor (not removed even after 24 hours) 8. Stayed for 4 days. Bed sheets not changed 9. Shower door not closing 10. Very bad WiFi/internet. It never worked. 11. new year party was not as expected. Just provided little choices of dinner with some music and few balloons.. not really like a new year bash.

Les chambres ne sont pas propres sous les lits plein de poussière et même des bouteilles d’eau anciennes vides. La douche laisse à désirer Méfiez vous des circuits hors site on vous propose des sorties avec des prix 3 fois la normale. Nile Cruise c’est de la pure arnaque.
Yazid (7/5): Rapport qualité/ prix - Personnel gentil La proposition de navette pour venir nous chercher à l’aéroport (payante) Petit déjeuner correct La salle de douche a grand besoin d’être remis en état, fuite dans la salle de bain au niveau des joints qui inondent le sol. Nous sommes arrivés tard dans la nuit nous avons eu une chambre où le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas, et pas d’eau chaude pour nous laver. Malgré l’intervention d’un membre du personnel, nous avons pas eu de solution immédiatement, Résultat nous nous sommes lavés à l’eau gelée, on nous a proposé uniquement le lendemain soir une nouvelle chambre et encore c’est moi qui a dû relancer. Dans la nouvelle chambre, pas de télécommande pour changer les chaînes, on a attendu on nous a jamais apporté cette télécommande. Petit déjeuner correct mais très peu de sucré.

MUNEER (1/5): My stay was disappointing, with poor cleanliness, unreliable Wi-Fi, limited amenities, and overprice - I recently stayed at this hotel and wanted to share my experience: The only positive aspect was the rooftop seating area. However, there is no pyramid view, which may be disappointing if that was expected. The room Wi-Fi did not work during my stay. The staff mentioned it would be fixed the next day, but it remained unavailable. Wi-Fi is only reliable at the reception, so it’s advisable to have mobile data if you book here. The bedsheets and pillows were not very clean or comfortable. The towels provided were of low quality. There are no restaurants or shops nearby, which can be inconvenient. I tried the breakfast one morning, and it was below expectations. Overall, the stay does not seem worth the price. The hotel is listed as a 4-star property on apps, but it felt far from that—closer to a 2-star experience.

Adele (7/5): Beautiful views. Nice food. Majority of staff are lovely. - The views are amazing. Majority of the staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious with plenty to choose from. There food menu as plenty of variety and we enjoyed every meal we purchased. The rooms were clean n comfortable. Kettle and fridge in room. Toiletries provided and a lovely warm shower. A good few staff members who spoke good English and this really helped. They couldn’t exchange our money into Egyptian pounds as they didn’t have enough to do so. You don’t get 10% off food and drink like advertised. WiFi only available in the room, not on rooftop. No alcohol available to purchase. Which is kind of understandable but be aware there is no where around to purchase any. No shops within walking distance. The tv doesn’t work in the rooms. Coffee tea and sugar in the rooms but no milk. Wifi turned off numerous times and took a long time to come back on. One member of staff tried overcharging us for taxis. Trying to charge us 25 dollars to book Us a taxi when we knew it was only a 5 dollar journey. The same member of staff booked us an Uber and the driver took us to the totally wrong place as the receptionist gave him the totally wrong address to take us to. We hardly got any Sleep the four nights we stayed as the call to prayer goes on all night long and there isn’t any soundproofing to help block out the sound. Even ear plugs didn’t help as it’s so loud.

Annalena (2/5): Schlechtes Personal, schlechtes Frühstück - Lage war ganz ok. Das Personal war äußerst unfreundlich. Uns wurde nur der Schlüssel gegeben und nichts erklärt. Beim Frühstück sagten wir 4 Tage in Folge, dass wie Vegetarier seien und bekamen alle vier Tage Fleisch/Wurst. Am Abend war niemand beim Restaurant, weshalb wir mehrmals Essen mittels Lieferservice bestellen mussten. Einmal wollten wir ein Taxi bzw eine Tour buchen und der Hotelangestellte sagte uns, wir sollten doch bitte über eine App buchen und nicht über ihn. Lage: ziemlich weit abgelegen von Restaurants. Wir gehen gerne viel zu Fuß daher war es okay, aber ansonsten muss man mit mind. 40 min Fußweg rechnen. Es gab in 4 Tagen kein Roomservice. Am letzten Tag wurden wir gefragt, ob sie uns das Zimmer putzen sollten. Wir sind Backpacker und nicht anspruchsvoll, aber sogar für uns war das eine Katastrophe!

Laura (9/5): Parfait n'hésitez pas - Cet hôtel mérite qu'on lui redonne ses notes de noblesse: hôtel très propre, charmant avec un magnifique roof top vue sur les pyramides. Dans la Chambre il y a tout ce dont on a besoin sans artifice. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est un gros plus vu que l'hôtel est éloigné de tout et qu'il faut obligatoirement se déplacer en taxi. Les tarifs du restaurant de l'hôtel sont plus que corrects. Certes il y a des moustiques mais ce problème peut vite se régler avec des prises anti moustiques partout dans l'hôtel ( Conseil pour l'hotelier). Le personnel est adorable. Franchement vu le prix de la Chambre foncez et n'hésitez pas une seconde. Il faudrait mettre un panneau à l'entrée de la rue car l'hôtel est très difficile à trouver pour les chauffeurs de taxis
