• Emilia (10/5): Underrated accomodation im Hanoi. Couldn’t recommend enough! - Great location. Super cozy place with fun decorated rooms. Came with a homemade guide of great recommendations around Hanoi. Incredibly clean. Fun rooftop balcony. Had everything we could need such as umbrellas, earplugs, travel adaptors. Owners super kind and helpful, went out of their way to help us. Genuinely probably our best stay in Vietnam!! Couldn’t believe it doesn’t have more reviews on booking.com Nothing! Only recommendation is bring or use the earplugs provided, traffic can get a bit noisy but wasn’t an issue to me.

• R S (10/5): Fantastic. Would recommend. - The location was fantastic, it felt like we were getting to experience a real local style apartment, but the absolute best thing was the host. Though we communicated only via WhatsApp, he was clear and kind in all communications. I got the feeling that he genuinely wanted us to have a great experience in Hanoi and that he did all he could to make that happen. We accidently overpaid (paid in cash and it’s hard to get used to the similar looking notes and the large sums) and his mother immediately counted it dnd handed money back to me, as well as call her don so he could WhatsApp and let me know if overpaid. I was so appreciative. Nothing. Some aspects are basic, but that’s reflected in the price bracket so we were very happy.

• Andrei (10/5): Nice and very authentic place for staying - The place is located in the very center of old Hanoi. The house is squeezed between other buildings, not visible from outside. First floor - hallway and a kitchenette, the second and the first floor - 2 almost identical bedrooms with a beautiful street view, big windows and pleasant interior. There is a way upstairs to the roof, small and greenish. If you want to immerse yourself in the authentic old Hanoi, you can’t beat this place
• Hataichanoke (8/5): Worth spending. Good for family and group of friends - Cozy, great location, experienced local living (whole apartment was ours) and good landlord. Tiny bathroom.
• Ryo (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is very unique and I like it so much. I don’t mind though a shower room is a bit small and together with toilet. However, overall experience here was more than expected. I felt like I lived like a local thanks to a location and the apartment. We also had a problem there but the owner was quite helpful and responsive.

• Allen (9/5): Enjoy Hanoi as if you were a local! - We got a taste of living in the Old Quarter as if we were locals. Seven glorious days, being close to all that Hanoi has to offer. Dan’s place had everything we could need - and more. It feels like the home that it is, with touches added specifically for tourists. Four whole storeys to enjoy. Bedrooms on two of the floors (we only used the top one, great views). Loads of storage space. Lovely terrace with seating and plants (even hung out some laundry). Art, books, guides, suggestions, hot and cold water dispenser, heaters plus inverter type air conditioner. There were even umbrellas and plastic raincoats provided. Dan and his Mum were super responsive too, so this was a wonderful stay.
• David (7/5): Good - The place is conveniently located in the heart of the old quarter. Communication with the host was easy and pleasant. The rooms are clean but basic. You can forget about getting quality sleep, as both rooms face the main street, and the noise of street traffic persists throughout the night. Personally, I found the pillows uncomfortable. The general equipment is worn out, adding to a rather "punk-ish" feeling.
• Bhavana (10/5): Great place stay with a group - Great location close to tourist attractions . Property felt like home away from home . Rooms are spacious exactly like pictures .
