• Grant (10/5): Perfect - This property exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Vicky is a wonderful host, and she went over and above in making us welcome with some really nice extra touches. The location is perfect, being right on the water. The accommodation is pristine, clean, and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at Baligara. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Our host Vicky provided very nice welcoming gifts (wine, chocolates,bottled water) and very bright conversation. The sunrise streams onto the very comfy 4-poster bed - the best way to wake up. The en-suite is top class and modern. Honestly, can't be faulted - we actually saw Baligara some 12 months in an earlier trip to Bundaberg/Bargara and immediately thought this was the place to stay.

On arrival I met Vicki and she was extremely lovely and hospitable. The room was amazing and meticulously clean and the view was stunning. Only negative, being that this stay was for a work trip, is that there wasn’t a desk and chair I could do my admin work at. I’m sure if I’d asked something would be arranged. There is a table outside with a chair that was fine but I need to make phone calls and because it’s windy it wasn’t ideal. That’s not really anyone’s fault though! The place was 5/5 stars

• Rebecca (9/5): Relaxation with a capital R! - The location is amazing if you want to relax and enjoy the ocean right outside. The room is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The hosts are lovely and give you your privacy. The bed is creaky (but you forgive it because it’s very comfortable)

• Teoni (10/5): Exceptional - The property was right on the waterfront. Out the front are rocks but within 50m is a lovely sandy beach. Vicky, the host was very friendly, there was an issue with the hot water system but it was fixed within 2 hours of me reporting it, she was very responsive to my messages. The room is very comfortable, a small kitchenette with a microwave and a BBQ on the patio meant self-catering was easy. The bed was very comfortable. Parking right out the front. The area is lovely and quiet it is a walk into the main part of town to shops, cafes and supermarket, if you have a car or bike it isn't an issue. There is a corner shop within easy walking distance though. Nothing it was beautiful.
