• Maria (8/5): It was a wonderful cultural experience staying there. - Breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Small but cute place right in the medina. No elevator so had to take luggage upstairs.

L’endroit est très cosy, calme et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, on s’y sent comme à la maison dès l’arrivée. Le personnel est vraiment au top : accueillant, attentionné et toujours disponible pour rendre le séjour agréable. Une très belle adresse que je recommande sans hésiter pour un séjour authentique et chaleureux.
• Alexandra (10/5): Rabat - die Hauptstadt Marokkos ist einen Besuch wert - Traumhaft schönes Riad in der Medina von Rabat. Unser Zimmer war groß und sauber, jedoch gab es kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten, das Badezimmer ebenfalls sauber, eher klein, dadurch flutet die Dusche den Raum. Wir haben auch im Riad gegessen und können das Abendessen sehr empfehlen (sicher teurer als auf der Straße, dafür umso ruhiger). Die Dachterrasse ist schön gestaltet, windgeschützt, daher ohne Blick. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Die Taxis können bis zur Rue Tajine fahren, von dort aus sind es noch ca. 500 m zu Fuß. Die Kasbah mit schönem Blick aufs Meer ist in 10-15 min. zu Fuß erreichbar, zum Mausoleum/Hassan-Turm läuft man ca. 30 min, zur Chellah ca. 1 h (oder man nimmt sich eines der zahlreichen dunkelblauen Taxis). Rabat ist die Stadt der Promenaden und Plätze, deutlich sauberer als andere Städte in Marokko, besonders gut gefallen hat uns der Garten im unteren Teil der Kasbah, der kostenlos zugänglich ist. Die Medina von Rabat ist weniger verwinkelt aber zum Verlaufen reicht es dennoch.

Localisation dans la Médina, un tout petit peu en retrait de l'agitation. Literie très bien ! Notre chambre était bruyante: au RdC, jsute à coté du bureau de la reception mais SURTOUT le compteur d'eau etait dans le mur de notre chambre, donc on avait droit à un bruyant tic-tic-tic-tic de la roue crantée qui tournait à chaque douche, chasse d'eau du riad. Une fois les bouchons d'oreille mis, on a pu dormir tranquillement. Manque complet d'informations touristiques, pas de carte, d'information, de conseils... La ruelle du riad n'est pas la plus propre de la médina... [Suite à la publication de cet avis, l’établissement m’a proposé un remboursement de 50 % en échange de la suppression de mon commentaire. Je préfère laisser un avis honnête et transparent pour aider les futurs voyageurs à se faire une idée. J'ai donc enlevé 1pt à ma note qui était de 6/10]

• Luka (10/5): Beautiful stay in Riad Safia - We spent two nights in Riad Safia and everything was perfect. The riad is located in a small, quiet street in the heart of the medina. It allows you to walk to almost all the main attractions in the city. The place is beautiful and the rooms are clean and spacious. You can feel it's a family business, they were all so nice and really made us feel at home. The owner's mother was one of the kindest people we met in Morocco, she welcomed us with tea and morrocan pastries and made us the most delicious breakfast on the rooftop. We loved our stay and hope to come back in the future.

Dovendo andare in aeroporto al mattino presto, mi hanno preparato la colazione al sacco e organizzato il transfer con un autista che è venuto a prendermi davanti alla porta del Riad. Ottima la posizione. Il bagno è un pò piccolo, la doccia aperta e senza ripiani di appoggio. Avendo però soggiornato una sola notte, non ha comunque costituito un disagio.

Breakfast was included and was a lovely mix of local flavours including tea and coffee. The location is right in the old medina and we walked everywhere. They organised direct taxi transport for us from the airport by Nourdinne who was also lovely and punctual. Would highly recommend!

• Beecroft (10/5): Wonderful central family run riad - This riad is central to everything, it’s beautiful and the family who run it are absolutely wonderful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I was travelling as a lone parent with my young daughter, it felt safe, homely and comfortable. The breakfast is huge and really tasty, filled me up for the day. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

• martin (10/5): Warmest welcome and a true taste of Moroccan cuisine. - The warmest of welcomes from our host. We opted for half-board and we really enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfasts every morning and the evening meals were full of flavour and a true taste of Morocco cuisine. Fresh ingredients, cooked with care and love by the host's mother. Communications before and during our stay were helpful and informative. Rabat had much to offer in terms of monuments, galleries and exhibitions (Ville des Artes, Muhammad V Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, and the Museum of Adornment). Remarkable architecture, traditional and modern (Royal Theatre designed by Zaha Hadid) and tranquil garden spaces Andalucian Gardens and Botanical Gardens. Absolutely nothing, Riad Safia was the perfect location for exploring Rabat, the friendliest city in Morocco, probably.

• Heather (9/5): I would go back just for the people - The thing that will always stand out to me about our stay here is the owners. The family that run this property are truly putting their heart and soul into making everyone's stay special - not spending a little time getting to know them is a loss. The facility is lovely and the beds are firm. Breakfast on the roof was delightful. The location is great for walking in the medina and if you're a real walker (as we are when we travel) you can see a lot within 20 minutes on foot. We always felt safe and anything we needed was promptly attended to. And we felt welcomed into a Moroccan family! I can imagine being surprised if you don't pay attention when booking that the bathrooms share close space with the showers. It was fine for us - what a great retrofit that allows people to stay in a riad with an en suite in a fantastic location- though I can imagine it not being for everyone.
