Kevin (8/5): - The house was amazing along with the attached bathroom facilities. The amenities provided are quite on spot and the host was very helpful and being very understanding of our situation. It's a pretty fair price for a really great room with ensuite bathroom. Unfortunately the host doesn't speak English as she speaks on Chinese so it's really hard for us to communicate on which is our rooms. Just be prepared to get a google translate or ChatGPT translate handy when speaking with her. Also, the room doesn't have any proper ventilation which made the room humid really fast, it's best if she could provide the fan just incase for the next guests who would want to stay.
Kateřina (9/5): Čistý a prostorný pokoj s koupelnou - Krásný, čistý a prostorný pokoj s koupelnou, dostatek ručníků, k dispozici rychlovarná konvice. Klidná a tichá lokalita, parkování na ulici zdarma, v blízkosti jsou obchody a restaurace. Byla jsem velmi spokojená. Paní majitelka nemluví anglicky a neodpovídá na zprávy, na první pokus jsem se nemohla dozvonit na zvonek. Po chvíli mi ale paní přišla otevřít a vše se vyřešilo pomocí Google překladače.

Anna (6/5): - Private and clean Creaky floor boards upstairs that would wake us early morning... Easily woken by persons leaving and entering the home during the night.
Anya (5/5): Was good but only for 1 night. I wouldn’t stay a whole weekend - We had a bed to sleep in which was comfy and access to a shower. Was good for 1 sleep We didn’t have a tv which would have been nice

Rosemarie (10/5): We will book here again because... - The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The landlord was nice and helpful though we need a translation but not a big deal for us.. There was parking available, (when you book the space ahead of time) which was very convenient. The room was nice and cozy. The Wi-Fi connection was good and fast. I also liked that we can cook our own meals. Overall, it was a great place to stay. Nothing at all.

Sakai (3/5): Beautiful home, beautifully well presented room but Iwill not be booking here in the future. - It was cheap to book. Had Prime TV Communication was very difficult with an old lady at the property as she didn’t speak English. The bed was very hard (I’m not over exaggerating) we had drop up to Auckland from Wellington and was expecting to have a good sleep, instead we had a terrible sleep and woke up with aching bodies. The shower soap holder had used soap which looked like it had been sitting there for a while. Parking was a bit annoying as we had someone block up in and when we asked them to kindly move their car so we can get out. The other guest got defensive and asked why? Then said no that we can stay there as they are leaving at 10am the next morning but we wanted to get something to eat. Eventually he moved his car after continuous asking.

You will need to contact the owner to get the code to enter as we didn’t receive any instructions from them until we ask them on the check-in date. And a woman at the house doesn’t speak English, kept talking to us in Chinese which we don’t understand. There was no hair dryer and slippers. There is kettle but no tea or coffee.

Smart (1/5): Very very very poor. Ended up leaving and staying elsewhere - It was advertised as if it was a room with a bathroom off of the house with personal access. In actual fact, it was a room up stairs in the house with a shared bathroom with other rooms in the house. The person who placed the place on this website didn't speak a word of English and the room that we had been allocated wasnt anything like the pictures. And didn't even have a lock on the door. So anyone else who was in the house could have come in while we were out and about, or even when we were in the room sleeping. Very disturbing! There were other people staying there also, not just whomever the house belonged to. We left immediately and found other accommodation.

Always smiling when we see her. An Amazing experience with her. The way she cleans and maintain the best way. Will come back there for sure if we are visiting Auckland again.

It was extremely noisy Did not feel comfortable here at all and was so glad to get out early the next morning. Never again Was not informed of what facilities were available, no lighting when i arrived back late at night

A large bathroom (heated floors were a highlight especially through our colder season) Mattress could possibly have a topper for that little bit of additional softness, was slightly hard for this pregnant mama unfortunately haha Could put a mirror in bedroom as well, just considering the bathroom was shared (I felt bad being in there too long incase someone else needed to use toilet)
Katherine (6/5): Pleasant bare bones accommodation. - I liked how close it was to the front door and how it had an EnSite. I enjoyed using the smart TV as it was logged into Netflix. The room was presently designed. It was close to where I needed to go and was affordable. The promo images had pictures of a bathtub but there wasn't one available. The bed was hard and had stained sheets. There were some holes in the walls in the bathroom. It could have done with an extra blanket in the winter or a heater. The blinds didn't block out the light at night.

Greg (10/5): Exceeded our expectations - Very clean, tidy and up to date place. Parking on site, space for 2 cars. Very comfy bed, the styling of the room was very relaxing and modern. Highly recommended, responsive owner The only small issue we had was that the lock mechanism for our room door is a bit finnicky. Sometimes the code needs to be put in 3-4 times to open the door. It's a very small issue, and honestly the place is very safe with cameras, I wouldn't have cared too much if there was no locking mechanism.

Shannon (10/5): A quiet & peaceful stay in a very clean house with a comfy bed & large shared bathroom near Auckland - I enjoyed my stay quite a bit. It was short, just one night; however the owner was very kind and even helped me in regards to my late flight. The location is a bit far from the center of Auckland, but that is a bit nice in some ways as it is much more quiet than if it was right by the airport.

Doors had some security locks. The door code to our room is in a drawer in the passage. My wife was so nervous we put the table in front of the door!
