- Storm (5/5): We chose this property based on the positive reviews, so we were very disappointed that this was our experience. Overall - The property is spacious, which was a definite plus, and the location is great—set away from the main road in Marloth Park, making it quiet and peaceful, while still being close enough to the shops for convenience. There were several issues with cleanliness during our stay. From the moment we walked in, there was a strong unpleasant smell that persisted throughout. We also encountered cockroaches, including smaller ones in and on the beds, and found mouse droppings on one of the beds. There were scratching noises coming from the air conditioner or roof, which we suspect may have been due to rodents.
In addition, certain areas were not properly cleaned—there were cobwebs and noticeable dust buildup next to the cupboards, and under the beds was also unclean. Basic cleaning supplies were not provided, not even dishwashing liquid, which felt like a minimum requirement for a self-catering property. The toilet paper provided also appeared dusty and unclean.

- Surette (7/5): - Close to Kruger National Park Had to take the trash to a dump site

- Hannelie (10/5): An Unforgettable Bushveld Getaway - We had a wonderful stay at Numida Rus in Marloth Park over the past few days. From the start, the booking process was easy peasy, and communication was smooth and efficient.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from arrival. The location is perfect—peaceful, well-positioned, and close to everything you need. The property itself is very well equipped, and it’s clear that a lot of thought went into ensuring guests are comfortable. Everything you could need is there. Air-conditioning, a gas geyser, a beautiful braai area, and a swimming pool all added to a truly relaxing stay.
One of the absolute highlights was the amazing wildlife encounters. Animals come right up to you to be fed—we were lucky enough to see warthogs, kudus, a variety of buck, giraffe, and even a wildebeest that spent most of the day with us. It was unforgettable.
Marloth Park itself is very convenient, with a Spar and various restaurants nearby. The property is also close to the Kruger National Park, and safari operators even collect you directly from your location, which made everything effortless.
Overall, this was one amazing holiday. A big thank you to James and Estelle, the owners, as well as Alta, Sharon, and Werner from I Secure, for contributing to such a fantastic experience. We would highly recommend Numida Rus and would love to return! The only thing we missed was a washing machine
- Darius (10/5): - Everything was great Everything was great
- mavis (10/5): perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature - such a peaceful escape! I loved the quiet bush surroundings and the chance to see wildlife up close. The swimming pool was refreshing and added to a truly relaxing experience. The owners were generous enough to leave us some pellets for the animals. perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature Nothing! All was good
- Bruce (10/5): - The owners demonstrated exceptional responsiveness to inquiries, and the overall experience was outstanding.

- Rohan (8/5): - Great outside living area. Well equipped kitchen. Private location. Lots of animals very close, so make sure you are comfortable with animals. That you have to dump your own rubish last day of your stay. Reason: small rented car family of 4 so car is overloaded you need no space for black bags dumping site is in the oposite direction of the gate.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - There are animals in Marloth Park that come to the house every day. There is a little pond that they come and drink from. The outside braai area is really amazing and the canvas can close the area completely if the weather is unpleasant. The house is comfotable and has everything one needs even a small dishwasher and ice machine. Communication from the owner was great and the caretaker was very helpful. There is definitely some TLC needed. The kitchen cupboard smells a little mouldy and some of the lights don't work well. The couches are in need of some cleaning, but nothing serious and we will definitely go back.
- Princess (8/5): Very good - The private pool. The wildlife experience
The place is perfect for vacation with friends or even as couples There was no cleaners to assist through out the weekend
No refill for toilet paper and not enough blankets
- Nanan (10/5): Exceptional -

- Ilona (10/5): Exceptional - It is amazing to have animals come to the garden area and walk around while we hang out on the patio. It is nice to have a pool as we visited on very hot and humid days.
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional - The unit was absolutely amazing, we thoroughly

- Aubrey (9/5): Superb -

- Imcia89 (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing bushveld gem - Peaceful, private and we had daily wild visitors. The stoep/patio was incredibly spacious and the home is clean & comfortable with all the amenities you'll need for a self-catering stay. Gas stove & hot water and decent WiFi too. The patio with feeding area & waterhole close by was definitely our favoute spot! We saw warthogs, kudus, giraffes, zebras, bushbuck, mongoose and blue wildebeest, many birds as well, while sipping our coffee. Will surely come for another visit in the not too distant future! The weather wasn't warm enough so that we could utilise the pool ;) ... Everything was great, no complaints.
