• Claire (10/5): Relaxing stunning cute & the perfect retreat away from real life Thankyou - The pod was kitted out to the highest of standards everything was easily accessible clean and modern. The hosts were more than welcoming left a bottle of Prosecco in the room for our arrival which was a lovely touch. The views were stunning with the added extra of 4 beautiful little goats. Perfect stay would definitely return.

• Jack (10/5): Modern, comfortable and peaceful - Me and my partner stayed here for a wedding and couldn’t have asked for anymore of the accommodation. The pod was spacious for us both, it was modern and had all amenities, including lots of coffees, chocolates and milk in the fridge-which was a nice added touch. The balcony looks over the countryside and we found very peaceful having our morning cuppa. The bed was nice and comfortable, the bathroom was like something we would want at our own home. Oh- and the under floor heating, awesome, especially coming from the wedding late at night. Thanks to Jackie the host, if we are ever up from Norfolk again- we know where to stay. There was nothing to not like.

• Dean (10/5): Peaceful, clean and exactly what we needed for a short getaway - Location was incredible. We didn't have any phone signal at the venue but honestly, we didn't mind! We loved the attention to detail within the pod itself. We used all of the amenities and everything worked perfectly. Honestly don't have a bad word to say.
• John (9/5): A great place to stay for a short break. - Super-friendly hosts who really couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely location with great views over the dale. Nice cosy pub with decent food within easy walking distance. Well-equipped and comfortable, the pod has everything you'd need for a short break. Free wi-fi is very good too. We stayed during a very cold spell (snow and ice) and the bathroom heating wasn't quite up to the job of keeping it comfortably warm.

The owners were very friendly and communicative about how to get to the pods, and how to check out. There was also parking on the road behind the pods and the owners were very close by and easy to contact in case of any additional needs

• Katie (10/5): Perfect experience! - I was attending a wedding at the nearby Danby Castle and stumbled across Coombs glamping when looking for accommodation, and I'm so glad I did! The pods are immaculate, they have everything you could need and more. The extra little touches like the snacks and fresh milk make the stay even better. The location is incredible, in the middle of nowhere with the most amazing views. Jackie is a fabulous host, so friendly and helpful, she even offered a lift to the wedding. I will definitely be back!

Jackie was the most communicative, thoughtful host and we were able to work our timings around a wedding at Danby Castle so well due to Jackie bending over backwards to help! Her lovely husband even gave us a lift down to the venue 😊 The pods themselves are simply stunning! The attention to detail is second to none and everything is of a really high spec. The WiFi was great, water pressure amazing and the views are spectacular. Everything you would possibly need for a comfortable short break in a beautiful location and at such a reasonable price compared to other places in the area! Thank you Jackie 🥰 That we couldn’t stay longer 😭

• Claire (10/5): Ideal stay for Danby castle weddings and a real escape from reality - Absolutely everything, it has all the essentials you need for a break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and have a real escape from reality. The bathroom was lovely and spacious. Everything was so clean and bright. We honestly could not have asked for anything more. The hospitality was exceptional and their attention to detail was amazing. Add on the spectacular views we had with breakfast and a glass of wine. We can’t wait to visit again. A real diamond in the country side. Wish we could have given it more stars as 5 is not enough 😀 Honestly these glamping pods are amazing and I was sad to leave.

• Kuy (10/5): Excellent will stay again - Views were stunning, hosts were lovely and went above and beyond even gave my mother a lift up to danby castle for the night do of the wedding I was at. Pod itself was clean, and had everything you could need. Had tea and coffee provided as well as fresh milk in the fridge. Even the neighbours (Goats) were lovely. It's perfectly situated if you are going to the castle for a wedding, we were able to walk back to the pod in 10mins. Also good location if you are planning country walks or hikes.

• Samantha (9/5): Superb - We stayed at the pod to attend a nearby wedding at Danby Castle. The pod itself had everything you could want for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The view was breathtaking. Jackie was an amazing host and we would definitely return. We were unable to get any phone signal and there is no WiFi. This would of not been an issue if we did not have children at home that we needed to check on. Adding WiFi would really be the icing on the cake to what was a amazing stay.

• Chloe (10/5): perfection! - Jackie is an amazing host!! she's created a gorgeous space, decorated really homely and despite the size you have everything you could ever need! The view was phenomenal, especially at night we saw so many shooting stars! The goats were also so lovely. Overall just the perfect place to stay in Danby! you can't get WiFi inside the pod but honestly you're better off checking your phone at the table outside, to take in some fresh air and the gorgeous view!

• Ben (9/5): Superb - Location was picturesque, quiet with animals around which was perfect. I booked it due to the proximity to Danby Castle, with it being 10 minutes walk away. Inside was well stocked, even with some chocolate bars and milk! Bed gave a lovely nights sleep and shower pressure was great. The only downside I can think of, and frankly it's a limit on being so rural is the struggle getting a WIFI connection. Had to either stick my hand out of a window or stand out of the front to pick up WIFI to connect to.

The view was incredible (when the weather permitted) and the pod was well equipped with everything we needed. Jackie even fetched her iron for us to use when we asked. It's also perfectly located for attending weddings at danby castle barns, just a 10 minute walk back from the venue so convenient to stumble home then collect the car in the morning. Very minor but the boiler was quite noisy, and the door was difficult to lock

The pods themselves was fantastic, so much so we had a wedding to go to and contemplated just staying in the pod and enjoying it for the night. No wifi/signal however that’s not a massive issue it’s nice to get away from the world. Couldn’t think of anything else bad at all to say was great

Pod itself was very well presented and came with everything required for a short stay. Owners where fantastic and catered for any needs. Wifi at the venue was hit and miss. Owner did warn us about it but it did not effect our stay in any way shape or form.
