- Jolly (6/5): its ok for lakeshore hospital visitors - very well located for lakeshore hospital. may be not ideal for other ernakulam activities The area was the biggest let down. road leading to the property is a big let down, especially during rainy season. The caretaker in very good but he is not a native of kerala. it wasn't a problem for me but may not suitable for native people who is not able to speak other languages. Booking.com didn't warn that the property is not available for foreigners. The caretaker rang me and said you need to cancel the booking if i am a foreigner, luckily i had the indian id's with me.

The staff was quite dismissive at all times and charged us extra for no reason. Facilities at the property are really really poor. Toilets didn't have a rack to hang clothes on, there were no disposable amenities like soaps, etc., and visually, it wasn't a very appealing space.

- Joe (1/5): Misleading Advertising and Poor Hygiene – Worst Homestay Experience in Kochi - BIG NOTHING, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. No wonder nobody is booking this place I recently stayed at White House Homestay in Maradu, Kochi, and it was by far the worst homestay experience I've ever had. When booking, the listing clearly advertised an air-conditioned room, yet upon arrival, they denied having AC in the room I had booked. Even after showing them their own listing, they refused to address it. The room itself was extremely unhygienic, with unclean, smelly sheets and a mattress that felt neglected. No toiletries, no towel in the bathroom, wobbly commode. Basic amenities were disappointing—plugs didn’t work, and the internet speed was so slow that I had to rely on my own hotspot to write this review. The owner was unhelpful and defensive, blaming me rather than addressing these issues. Unfortunately, I arrived late at 11 PM after a long evening, or else I would’ve avoided staying here altogether. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone seeking a comfortable and honest experience
