• Nils (8/5): Very nice Guest house - The Mcleodganj Diaries is a clean, neat and comfy guest house in naddi. The location is very good for hikes or a nice view but if you want to be in the citycenter, this is not good located. The Staff is very friendly and helpful, also the roomservice has good food. The wifi had some issues, but only sometimes. Also the heater costs 300rp extra per day. The laundry service doesnt have a dryer, so we had to hang the laundry at our balcony, which is fair for the price. Also there were some powercuts, because of storms, which of course isn't the fault of the hotel, we even had a lamp with batterie, so no issues with light.

• Eve (6/5): Basic stay - Pawan was really nice and helpful. It was clean and the food in the rooftop restaurant was nice too! And the views are great - Naddi is really pretty. Very basic facilities with a really uncomfortable bed/mattress and pillows. The bathroom wasn't great either, and the hot water also ran out within about a minute. If you're coming here to save money, you'll probably spend anything saved on additional transport costs getting around (unless you get the bus but it's pretty infrequent).

• Mark_meld (8/5): My experience in a nutshell! - The host is friendly and very helpful. He works very hard to make your stay satisfying. The guesthouse has recently opened and the staff is good but needs reminding if you want meals. I would return to Mcleodganj Diaries because the host really cares about his guest(s). All you need to do is ask and he WILL respond. Naddi can be hectic. You need to plan to avoid heavy traffic.

Worth repeat visits - Mcleodganj Diaries Homestay is 30 minutes drive from Dharamsala(10 KMs) and 4 Kilometres climb from Mcleodganj town at a village called Naddi. Room is neat, comfortable, provided with a heater and having a small kitchenette with an induction stove . Common washing machine is also provided at the homestay. The small restaurant downstairs provides healthy and affordable Indian and continental food. The village is well connected with public transport system, autorickshaws, and Taxis. There are beautiful sunset viewpoints nearby and a short beautiful trekking route to a river. Naddi village people are helpful and courteous to the tourists. The owner of the homestay, Mr. Pawan, is always at hand to assist you to make your stay very comfortable. But if he is away on some work you need to wait till he returns

• Maria (10/5): Great value and a lovely walk to the Dalai Lama’s residence - The manager, Pawan was incredibly helpful - he messaged before our stay and gave us more information about the area and how to get to the guesthouse. We arrived late and he stayed up to let us in. The location is about an hour's walk from the Dalai Lama's residence and what a lovely walk - glad we did that.

Kitchenette. Hot water and clean big bathroom. Good WiFi. Quiet at night. Heater provided if needed. Everything was great.

• Hudin (10/5): Exceptional - I had a very pleasant stay in Pawan's guest house the room is very comfortable and clean with a magnificent view of the mountain. The guest house is ideally located for the departures of the trecks and 5km from the residence of the Dalai Lama. you can get there easily on foot, by bus or taxi. Pawan will explain everything to you because he is very attentive to his guests and always ready to help. The hotel restaurant is very good and you can have your meal served in your room if you wish. I can only recommend this address. Thanks again to Pawan for his kindness and his help.

The bed was very good, as was the free WiFi There was also a washing machine available for the guests to use Next the manager Pawan was exceedingly helpful in taking into account the needs of his guests and was excellent in providing details about the area of Naddi where the homestay is based Also having a restaurant on site made ordering food exceedingly easy I would wholeheartedly reuse this homestay next time I am in Naddi again and would strongly recommend this accommodation for anyone who wants to stay in Naddi as its very peaceful compared to the nearby town The price of the homestay was also excellent and made my stay extremely enjoyable David Youde There was nothing to dislike about this particular homestay located in Naddi In fact the reverse applies to this homestay as it met and went beyond what I needed

• Kabyayan (10/5): An Exceptionally Peaceful Experience - The location and the hospitality were unparalleled. A place where you can spend weeks at peace. The mountains would greet you as you move the curtains of the room or go to the balcony. Also, the same balcony would offer you a view of the Dhauladhar peaks shining bright in the last sunrays of the day. The location is very easily trackable, the host Pawanji is super-friendly. On top of that you can use the kitchenette to even cook your own meal if you're not feeling like going out. And in case you want to try out the local restaurants at Naddi, Pawanji would provide appropriate guidance as well. This definitely is a place that you can make your home for more than a week.
• Ankit (10/5): Would love to visit the place again as I met a very hospitable host. - Everything was great in and around the property. Being a traveler, the most important part about my stay was that I met a very hospitable host, a fully automatic washing machine, and a lot of trekking areas around away from the crowd of the mcleodganj city. The place has four rooms in total, each with a decent balcony. Out of these 4 rooms, 2 are road facing, while the other 2 are with a Mountain View and were very peaceful. One of the rooms facing the mountain is also with a kitchen, and one room facing the road is also with a kitchen. We booked a room with a mountain view and without a kitchen. It was a big room with an electric kettle and a desk where I was able to finish my office work with good internet speed.
