Swimmong pool impossibile to use. One day reserved, second day lessons for children. Basically I found open only restaurant on ground floor.

• Efotte (6/5): The room was too pricey for the experience - The room had only one towel and when we requested for an additional towel, the receptionist told us the service room is closed until the next day. There was no bell boy to carry our luggages down to the receptionist area.
• Ana (9/5): Excellent séjour passé à l’hôtel FAYA - Nous avons eu un magnifique séjour à Faya Hôtel, le personnel était très agréable et sympathique. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est très bien. La chambre spacieuse et très propre. Les deux petits remarques à faire sont sur le faite que pendant la nuit on entendait pas mal le bruit externe et sur le fait que le petit déjeuner était juste prévu pour un adulte en tant disant que nous étions 2 adultes.

• Epoupa (5/5): Des améliorations sont nécessaires dans cet hôtel. - C’est toujours un immense bonheur de retrouver Carole à la réception. Son sourire et sa chaleur humaine font toute la différence ; elle a toujours le mot juste et la petite attention nécessaire pour vous redonner de l'énergie. Je dois avouer que si je suis fidèle à cet établissement depuis quatre ans, c’est en grande partie grâce à son professionnalisme. Du chauffeur de la navette qui m'a accueilli à l’aéroport jusqu'à l’équipe de réception, tout le monde est formidable. On n’a qu’une envie : prolonger le séjour. Fidèle à cet établissement depuis quatre ans pour mes déplacements professionnels, je m’y sens presque comme chez moi. C’est cette habitude et mon attachement à l’hôtel qui m’ont poussé à le recommander à des proches, lesquels ont malheureusement été déçus par le manque de propreté. Après un séjour de quatre nuits, je partage désormais leur constat : l’état de la chambre et de la salle de bain laisse planer un doute sur la qualité du ménage (tâches et saletés au sol). Par ailleurs, le linge de chambre — serviettes rêches et draps ternis par l’usure — n'est plus à la hauteur du standing de votre hôtel. C'est regrettable pour un lieu que j'apprécie autant.

En fait, ma perception générale a évolué de "pitoyable" au terme de mon premier jour de séjour, à "peut mieux faire" le jour de mon départ 1-exiguité de la chambre 2-faible pression d'eau dans les toilettes 3-la piètre qualité des finitions dans les toilettes 4- mauvaise insonorisation (réveillé la première nuit par l'appel du muezzin à 5h!!! 😡😡) 5- difficulté d'accès à la salle de sport le 1e jour) 6- valet dysfonctionnel sur les portes 7-mauvaise programmation des ascenseurs 8-reception régulièrement injoignable 9-Piètre qualité des images tv 10-Inaccessibilité des issues de secours Il convient de souligner que la grande majorité de ces griefs ont été portés à l'attention du manager de l'établissement qui a pris l'engagement d'apporter le plus d'amélioration possible
• chiara (6/5): My stay was comfortable but it was an unsafe location. - The staff were really attentive, super helpful as I wasn’t a French speaker (they did well in terms of communication and organizing transport and most requests we had). The location was terrible.. it is right in the middle of the busiest, most unkept area of town. I think people referred to it as the market/commercial area. The picture of the exterior shown on bookings isn’t a true reflection of what I saw in person( false advertising).

• Emel (2/5): Terrible Experience — Old, Dirty, and Unsafe Hotel - The only good thing about this hotel was the airport transfer service, which was good and smooth. Also, the reception staff were kind and attentive. The location feels completely unsafe, and there’s nothing to see around the area. It’s full of noise and chaos. Starting from the lobby and getting worse as you go up, there’s an unbearable smell of mold, dirt, and dampness. The carpets smell so awful that it’s hard to breathe – it’s something you have to experience to believe. The pool wasn’t working, and even if it had been, we would never have used it as it looked far from clean. The hotel and rooms are extremely old. The furniture is in such bad condition that even the trash collector wouldn’t take it. The bed was very uncomfortable — the middle is raised while the sides sink, so you end up sliding off. The bathroom was so bad that we preferred not to use it at all. We asked for breakfast and were sent to the 8th floor, but there was no staff there. Overall, it’s an outdated place — best to stay away.

• dibue marie-louise fratz (6/5): - Das Hotel an sich ist schön, aber die Standardzimmer entsprechen nicht der Lage. In den Standardzimmern, besonders da, wo ich war, ist alles alt. Es riecht auch alt. Das Badezimmer war sehr alt. Ja, 2. Das Schlimmste dabei? WLAN-Probleme und der Fernseher zeigt nur französische Programme. Wenn jemand ein internationales Hotel betreibt, sollte es mindestens etwas geben: zwei Sprachen auf dem Fernseher, in dem Land, wo es bilingual ist. Ähnlich wie Kamerun, wo man zwei Sprachen spricht. Une mention spéciale pour Carole qui a rendu ces 10 jours à Douala encore plus agréable. Elle est pleine de conseil, de professionnalisme. Le personnel est vraiment au petit soin. Merci encore à toute l'équipe et aussi à mon cher ami anglophone qui est souvent à l'entrée qui m'a accompagné au marché faire mes courses.

The hotel has good amenities that would useful for someone staying for a few days. At the change over there was no reminder about my request for the shuttle bus. Shower curtains will also be good.

Airport shuttle was on time and I commend the hotel for this service. The door had issues and had to constantly ask the staff to open for us and it wasn't pleasant at all. The wi-fi connectivity was very poor and the bathroom was not so clean.
