From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much thought and care went into every detail of the décor, it felt cozy, welcoming, and truly special. The cabin offered a perfect balance of comfort and privacy, making it a relaxing retreat for our whole family. The host communicated clearly and promptly throughout our stay, which made everything easy and stress-free. We also loved the many cute picnic areas and activities around the property, there was always something fun to explore together. This was such a memorable family experience, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, thoughtfully designed getaway, you won’t be disappointed!

We could have slept in it all day. The heater/ac unit kept us comfortable when the temperatures fluctuated this weekend. The decor was fantastic. The property was quite and peaceful. The cabin didn’t have hot water and the toilet was a bit shaky. The parking made it difficult to turn around but the back out wasn’t too bad. I’m glad i drove my 4wheel drive truck.

Our room did not have a connecting shower, but I’m used to disconnected showers from previous camping trips. The disconnected showers were exceptionally clean and even had a heater so the shower room isn’t cold. The showers even had a separate room with a door and a lock, unlike most campground showers.

The cabins are plush, comfortable, spacious, and perfect for large gathering for weddings and reunions. Potential investors should visit immediately, before I come back. Everything was great. Lots of remaining potential for this 40+ acres.

It is especially nice for long walks with my dog. It is not far from the main roads, yet feels isolated and peaceful. There are parks, lakes, and hiking trails for any type of recreation. The staff is amazing, onsite, and keeps things running top notch! The owners live adjacent and investors are welcome! I stayed an extra week, excellent wifi! Too good to complain

- Amanda (1/5): Bad - Fwd: I typically make it a point not to leave negative reviews. Words are powerful, and I try to use mine to uplift rather than tear down. So for me to even write this should tell you just how awful my experience here has been. The “aesthetic” of a rustic camp is all well and good—until you actually have to spend a night here. There are virtually no lights throughout the area. A few string lights are scattered around, and there’s a single motion light by the showers, but nothing near where we stayed. One evening, while backing out, we realized just how dangerously close we were to driving off the side of a hill—because we couldn’t see anything. If we hadn’t been as cautious as we were, it could’ve been a disaster. Safety clearly isn’t a priority here. The showers were filthy and inconvenient. While there were shelves and hooks outside the stall, there was absolutely nothing inside to place your toiletries. So you’re left fumbling around in a wet, slippery space trying to manage your things while standing on cold tile. It’s a small detail, but one that made the experience unnecessarily frustrating. Combined with the general muck and dampness, it was one of the most unpleasant showers I’ve ever taken. And while we’re on the topic of minor inconveniences that can quickly become major problems, let’s talk about the Wi-Fi. What’s the point of offering Wi-Fi at a remote, wooded location—where cell service is already weak—if the Wi-Fi doesn’t even work? God forbid something were to happen out here, how are you supposed to contact anyone? The Wi-Fi didn’t even have the strength to open a basic email. Your data plan? Don’t count on it—the signal is almost nonexistent. That’s not just an inconvenience; that’s a safety issue. Then there’s the matter of the locks—or complete lack thereof. The bathroom door inside our cabin didn’t lock, and neither did the cabin door itself—unless you figured out the ridiculous “trick” of not closing it all the way first.

- Stacey (10/5): A very cute summer camp renovated for adults nestled in the woods of South Cumberland Park. - Camp Swan is such a cute place for a weekend getaway!! Close to Fiery Gizzard, Denny Cove, Foster Falls, and Savage Gulf for hiking and swimming in blue holes. Camp Swan is nestled in the woods, a summer camp for kids renovated for adults. Each cabin is decorated with a theme and has a small bathroom, there are bathhouses with private showers.... There is communal grill to use and fire pit stocked with wood. I definitely recommend checking out the Mountain Goat for sandwiches and Pearls ( the food was amazing!!!)..... Camp Swan is very close to a Dollar General if you need some basic supplies. It would be so nice to have a small sink in the bathroom to brush your teeth. Also, more toilet paper and coffee for the Keurig.

- Rumble (8/5): The camp was a rustic natural hippie-ish immaculate accommodation in the woods. - The cabins were all unique on the inside and outside - the trees were amazing and Natural not trimmed according to symmetry. Down below the property but accessible from the grounds was a small lake -which offered fishing, swimming, and non-motorized boating. I had no dislikes
- Lisa (4/5): The price point for the stay was very reasonable but I would not go back or refer anyone. - The area was quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the Dolly cabin and it was quaint. The bed was extremely comfortable and the stay was a great price point. Upon our arrival the place felt very desolate and unkempt. The courtyard is the first area that greets you and it was very disappointing to see all the weeds, moss and mold that had taken over. The furniture and the coverings appeared to have been left out all winter and everything was dirty. The tennis/pickle ball net was broken. When we got to the cabin, it greeted us with the front porch screen being ripped, a used red solo cup sitting on the porch along with debris on the furniture and rug and used toothpicks on one of the side tables. When entering the actual room there were so many cobwebs on the front door that we questioned if the room had been cleaned from the last guests. Also, was not set up for 3 people as we had 1 face cloth and 3 towels for 3 nights. Other than that the room was decorated cute. It should state in the description of the amenities that refrigerators are the mini fridge style in which we had a difficult time keeping all of our stuff for a 3 day stay. There was only a microwave and from what we could see there was only 1 grill to be shared by all cabins which was a distant from the Dolly cabin. Due to the area and not much around (I think we might have been the only ones staying there at that time) we left a day early.

It was so beautifully thought out, from the hand done wall paintings to the colorful appliances, patterned throw pillows and unique mugs. It's in the country but was easy to find and get to, and the checking in prices was easy. It's a great use of an old summer camp, The heating was a bit hard to figure out.
- Andrea (9/5): It felt like high-end glamping with just enough comforts of home--an excellent mountain retreat. - Loved the campy feel (yet high on comfort), and the location to hiking, sight-seeing, and restaurants was perfect. The firepits, string lights, and themed cabins add to the fun of this unique stay! The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked (other than no dishwasher detergent pods.) The location is less than 5 minutes from Fiery Gizzard Trail, Dutch Maid Bakery, and many other local attractions. I could easily see this being a great location for a family retreat, girls weekend, etc... Remember that only 2 bathrooms have showers IN the room, but the shower rooms on the property are adorable (and private) and not at all the usual "bathhouse" feel! After dark the cabins could be a little tricky to find as signage isn't obvious. Some information in the cabin about who to contact for assistance (the grill tank was empty; instructions for firepits, etc..), which portions of the property are for common use, and maybe additional information about the facilities and/or local attractions would be helpful.
- Emma (10/5): All the charm of Dolly in a beautiful and quiet part on TN. - Perfect for an escape to the great outdoors without sacrificing the cozy comforts and modern conveniences of home. We booked the Dolly Cabin which was Dolly Fabulous and very comfortable. We booked the weekend around a concert at The Caverns venue in Pelham. It was approx 15-20 min easy drive from Camp Swann to the The Caverns. We also found businesses in Tracy City to be super friendly and helpful . We enjoyed a nice lunch at the historic Dutch Maid Bakery. Late evening bar food and craft beer selection at Hanks Corner, Where the server and owners were super helpful with suggestions on local trails. Foster Falls is an absolute must. Nothing, we really enjoyed our 2 night stay, and were sad to leave. we hope to return.

My wife had work to do so we made sure they had Wi-Fi but the Wi-Fi and TV didn’t work. We weren’t aware there was no shower in our room until we got there after our day of hiking. No towels or bath soap provided. We had to go back to the store to buy towels and soap. We used the soap by the kitchen sink to wash our hands after we used the restroom and to wash the dishes because we didn’t know if that was hand soap or dish soap next to the sink. Also no hot water at the kitchen sink to wash hands and dishes.

- Sharon (10/5): Camp Swann is such a fun place to stay, and very conveniently located. - We stayed in the Happy Camper cabin and it was so cute! The beds were comfortable and the amenities were good. There was a mini fridge, many cooking utensils, a grill kit, a pantry, and more! We enjoyed building fires each night and making s’mores. We made use of the grill as well. It is very conveniently located to Grundy Lakes, South Cumberland State Park, and Savage Gulf State Park. We very much enjoyed our “glamping” trip. We also met the camp co-host and she was very sweet and helpful. I didn’t enjoy washing my hands in the kitchen sink after using the bathroom, but that’s a small problem that we got used to.

We arrived late at night and it was a magical landscape of fairy lights and string lights to welcome us up the hill. The cabin was super cute and meticulously clean...the decor was impressive and fun...so many little details taken care of! We really loved all the painting inside and outside of the cabins...it made everything unique and happy looking! We had one of the cabins without showers and the shared shower space was also extremely clean and decorated.
- Lori (10/5): Absolutely loved it!!! - The cabin smelled wonderful and was so clean! The decor was so cool! Your staff, Anita was exceptional and so friendly!!!! Loved the fire pit at night. Can’t wait to stay again!! I would suggest putting one or two robe hooks in the bathroom. We were going to a wedding and would have been great to have somewhere we could hang our clothes on hangers.
- Pamela (10/5): Fabulous funky little shack!! - Our cabin was adorable and appeared the same as it did in the pictures. We were greeted with a smile when we arrived and when we left the next day. We were immediately given attention as soon as we arrived and shown where to park, etc.

The room was super cute and VERY comfy! Your staff was awesome and VERY helpful! (I think her name was Anajey?). She even brought us a big bottle of water to make coffee with. Don't ever lose her, she's wonderful! A little hard to navigate were to go to get to our cabin but we met a wonderful woman who worked there and she showed us where to park. She even helped us carry our things down to the cabin.
- Ellabarm (10/5): Exceptional - The place is literally heaven on earth! The location is perfect. We went to a few short wet hikes with the girls. The host was super nice, we traveled a lot, and a place like Camp Swan is hard to come by.
