- McGill (4/5): - Staff helpful bathrooms clean Access fire alarms disabled light switch broken handle on toilet broken had to bang on door to get released. Food at restaurant inedible.
- Peter (5/5): Confusing - Didn't stay there. They put me in a motel instead!
- Patricia (4/5): Find in hard to believe Booking .com has a property like this on its books. - Loved the old worldliness. Great location in the location in the centre of beautiful Glen Innes It was crumbling around us. Some parts were clearly unsafe. Not really fit to be open for business. Facilities well below par although it’s clear that renovations are happening
- Bruce (6/5): Central accommodation in a pub that would benefit from some TLC. - A beautiful old building in the centre of town. It seems a little run down.
- William (2/5): Over priced - Nothing of whole stay *Waited 3/4 hr to check in upon arrival at 2.30pm (check in between 2 -3pm)
*room changed as hotelier/accommodation manager did not know where key was for our room (room was smaller with no a/c, no fan, one towel for two people, which we didn't use as was filthy and purchased our own at local store)
* male bathroom toilets (two) one only had toilet paper. Was not replenished.
* toilets and shower amenities were not clean nor were cleaned/ attentioned or topped up whilst our stay..
* carpet in room designated appeared to have remnants of hair, grass and dried mud embedded within pile. Sorry it was not clean at all.
*No access to verandah as advertised.
* Internal staircase was not lit/ Illuminated for safety of guests or staff. Creates a potential Work health and safety and Occupational health and safety issue of potential injury and fall.
*Rear timber treads on stairs external were rotten and deteriorated. I have been working as a builder and carpenter's trades assistant for some time. Was in very poor condition. And, again not illuminated of an evening.
* raucous behaviours by patrons swearing, yelling and treaatining other patrons in later evenings.
*Other male guests wondering between rooms half naked and no doubt intoxicated whilst myself and my partner, mature female were entering and departing our accommodation.
*apparently appropriate staff were not available when asked to rectify or direct a complaint..
DO NOT RECOMMEND.

- Fiona (8/5): Faded charm and friendly staff - Loved the big old country hotel building. Loved the handy location right in town. Somewhat worn and faded, which has its charm but would not suit a long stay.
- Shane (9/5): Great place to stay when motorcycling around the area - Motorcycle friendly and the staff, Leo was a great bar host, the food was excellent, try the Bangers and Mash :0) Nothing
- Bernard (4/5): Bed was good , location was good , price was good , no street noise - Location Shower floor was dirty ,room heater was of poor quality ,no dinning open , no clear emergency gathering area , missing fire extinguisher from hall .
- John (9/5): - Good motorcycle friendly place to stay in Glen Innes Nothing really, Good Lodgings, Good Food, Cold Beer and great staff

- Viviana (6/5): - The staff was very friendly, I did what they could to make the state good. This is very basic accommodation. With spacious rooms. There was not enough bedding in the room all the beds. Especially since there is no heating available. Only a small tiny portable heater is available, but it wasn’t working or working well. Especially in such a cold place, the nights are very cold.
- Craig (7/5): Good value for a short stay - Reasonable Pub accommodation, room was clean as was the bedding The double bed was a little lumpy so slept on the single the second night. Shared bathroom was relatively clean but there was some hair in the drain and the glass shower screen had some soap scum., otherwise, all good.
- Stephen (3/5): -
- Rick Lennox (8/5): - Good clean pub room
- agustina (3/5): -
- Mhlengi (1/5): It was so bad I was out as soon as I woke up. - Nothing I was mortified with the facilities and the towel with brown stains on it. Everything. Rooms are filthy, bathrooms and toilets are in bad condition. I would rather stay in my car for 1 night.
- John (9/5): -
- Grant (6/5): Okay but bins in kitchen/common area need to be emptied. Nice staff. - No breakfast but crockery and cutlery provided Access to front verandah.
More toiletries (only one tube of soap provided).
Bins in kitchen area full and should have been emptied because it’s an unsightly sight to see.
- Phil (7/5): Would stay there again - Good basic clean room Waste paper bin. Tea coffee making facilities in the room
- Alexander (6/5): -
- Julia (2/5): Glad to check out - The staff were super friendly The room was dirty. Filthy underpants under the bed and rat poo in the corner of the room. The room was extremely cold.
- R (7/5): -
- Leeks (9/5): - Terrific bar service and meals All good
- Muhammad (10/5): -
- Garry (8/5): - Nice town
- Samantha (10/5): Friendly staff, convenient, affordable - Budget-friendly, access to fridge and kettle etc, friendly staff, spacious The window connecting rooms meant that I was hesitant to use the light in the morning as it shines through the next room

- Debbie (10/5): - The memories from childhood Nothing
- Robert (7/5): -
- michael (3/5): -
- Vivian (6/5): cheap, warm accommodation, staff friendly - Staff were very nice, quick stopover and very cheap, clean room and warm
- michael (3/5): Just a bed luck to get a heater - It was close to where I want to go No tea or coffee nowhere to hand any clothes
- John (8/5): - Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the newly renovated showers . The meal I had was delicious and very well priced . There was a good locked area for motorbikes and the staff were welcoming. One unusual and interesting thing was that the cheery staff are all from Nepal.
I’d certainly stay there on my next visit to Glen Inness.
- Craig G (7/5): basic, comfortable and well priced. - Good pub accommodation. Although electric blanket and bed side lamp didn't have any power points to plug into. Good styling though. Was very clean and comfortable.
- Robert (7/5): Relaxing - Friend ly staff and customers and good location The key to my door got stuck a bit no big deal
- Jake (1/5): - Staff were great that’s it Everything but the staff
- Bryan (3/5): Poor - Location No air con
Old run down
Smoke detectors chirping all night
Light from balcony comes
Through curtains all night
- Ros (8/5): The staff were polite, helpful & friendly. - Didn't stay for breakfast The rooms need air conditioning.
- DAVID (7/5): good value budget accommodation - A faulty smoke detector in the hallway was chirping every 10 seconds all night which disrupted my sleep
- Golden (10/5): -
- Dave (3/5): Cheap, but very nasty - Booked a single bed room. To say it was basic would be an understatement. Just a very old single bed / mattress was well past its best days. Not even a chair in the room to sit on. The smoke alarm in the hall was beeping every 3 minutes which made sleep impossible. When I asked the staff about - they stated we changed the battery and it’s still happening. Clueless
Wednesday night I got listen to a patron yell and abuse someone in the bar below me for over an hour as my room was directly above it.
Police were called for a domestic for other persons staying in club. Cut short my stay as i couldn’t stay another night there. The room was a single bed with an old rickety mattress that was well past its best. I think they found in the street in a council clean up.
The fire alarm / smoke detector was defective and the staff didn’t give a dam about it. Made decent sleep impossible
- Frank (10/5): -
- Roxy (3/5): Few extra touches would be nice… a bin and TV in the room. I wiped down surfaces and they were dirty- shower had hairs. - Friendly staff Unclean
- Geoffrey (8/5): It was just what I needed - Locaytion was good one block off the main road. Easy to find. Friendly staff. The food was good. nothing
- Grahame (8/5): Comfortable premises, excellent staff - There was no breakfast included so breakfast was obtain elsewhere There was a smoke detector in the corridor whose battery needed to be replaced and it beeped.
- Nathan (5/5): Would be a good stay for the price if building was better maintained - Cost effective. Shower had good water pressure. Shower wasn’t clean. Staff are not clear communicators. Had to chase staff for towels. Barely slept as a moke alarm chirped every 40 seconds through the night.
- Matthews (10/5): -
- Stefany (6/5): - El wifi no llega a las habitaciones. Entraba luz de la habitación de al lado
- Martin (8/5): - Friendly welcome, nicely renovated old wooden building. Central, easy parking. Large room. Shared facilities renovated and clean. Exceptional value for money. Good bistro with much larger selection than other pubs. Mattress (room 6) was very average. Walls between rooms thin, you can hear every whisper.
Heater was provided but marginal power, did not really warm up the room. Hot water took ages to arrive, I nearly gave up.
