• Jason (10/5): Quiet spacious home from home. - Very spacious and a great base to explore the area. Very comfortable. Minor issues only. Oven handle was loose and the owner sent his team round to check it so good to know they were on hand and pro-active. Netflix wasn’t working on the main TV and TV in one of the bedrooms wasn’t connecting. Nothing that affected our holiday though.

Is a serious gentleman and it's not just about the money for him, it was genuinely about enjoying the stay, very highly recommended and will definitely be booking again, went above and beyond with what I expected from the place and its owner Chris.

• Lydia (9/5): Great - Big lodge with lots of space and well equipped. Amazing location and peaceful. Host was so helpful. Dogs loved it and the secure outdoor space. Would have been good to have Netflix and a spruce up of the outdoor furniture but we would definitely stay again!

Chris, the host, was also very accommodating an - We loved the little touches e.g love to hose down wetsuit and hang them over the bath tub. The property was clean and spacious and had everything you needed! Showers were hot and great! Beds were comfy. Nothing! It was a great property!

• Lydia (10/5): Short stay... - Directions and contact with the host was brilliant. The lodge is very spacious with everything you could possibly need. The bed was super comfy. Lots of storage space. Sofas comfy. Nothing I didn't like but it would be good to have a few instructions for how to work appliances etc and maybe where the rubbish bins are on site, as I didn't see any. Plus, some recommendations for eateries and places to visit. I have stayed in places that have a welcome folder with all the above in.

Great to see the sea from the living room window & from the veranda! The owner was quick to get back to me regarding a few questions I had before we stayed here & was very helpful. Looking forward to returning again soon! Nothing. All good!

• Damien (10/5): Perfect 4 day break for our family of 5, the only downside was that we couldn't stay longer. - Hosts were great prior to arrival with contact and any information we needed. The lodge was very spacious throughout with the lounge and dinning areas having ample space for a family of 6, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The 3 bedrooms are all great and the master has an en-suite. TVs in the lounge and master bedroom both work perfectly as does the WiFi. The location of the site was perfect for us with a 5 min drive to Ilfracombe and a 10 min drive into Woolacombe. We are already looking at dates to book again next year. Nothing.
• Joanne (10/5): Surf Lodge family holiday - Surf Lodge was great! Just back from a week long family holiday. Plenty of space for the 6 us. Loved that it had space for surfboards and wet suits. Hosts are quick to respond, should you require anything. The lodge is close to amenities and beaches. We had looked online to extend our break, but unfortunately, it was booked up. We would definitely recommend a stay here Nothing, all great
• Dave (10/5): Exceptional - We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Surf Lodge. The lodge is clean, spacious, and comfortable with everything we needed and more. The owners had installed WiFi before our arrival, and we discovered the added bonus of a dishwasher. The view from the balcony is beautiful on a clear day you can see across the ocean to the beaches on the other side. The lodge is close to many local attractions and beaches all within a 15 min drive, I also noticed there was a bus service running right outside the entrance to the park. In all Surf Lodge is a lovely place to stay, and we are hoping on a return trip in the future.
