• S (4/5): - The property was warm and the kitchen is fairly clean (a couple of bowls in the cupboard had been put away dirty). It is fairly well equipped. Great TV. I wouldnt call this 'luxurious lodging'! No space for wet clothes or shoes. You walk straight into the kitchen and have nowhere to hang coats or put shoes. No room for bin in the kitchen so it sits on the carpet at the edge of the lounge. The site itself is very disappointing. Only a few of the mobile homes have good views. This looks out over recycling bins. There are no footpaths crossing the site - just vehicular access. All the facilities (which were on the other side of the main road to this park) were closed while we were there even the indoor pool. I didn't expect much to be open but this wasn't advised in the information we received prior to arriving. This site is a 30 minute walk into Bembridge and it is not a nice walk - main road all the way. On our third morning builders turned up at 8am to extend the decking. By the way, the decking around the mobile home is extremely slippy when wet/frozen over. The owner explained they do this work without advising beforehand but it was disappointing to be woken up when you're on holiday.
