Guest Reviews
- Phoebe (7/5): -
- Sandra (7/5): Was fair stay for the money paid - Colour and vibe Was not very clean and some items not functioning as it should.
- Emily (3/5): A hotel with more rules than comfort - Another guest had a beautiful dog There were so many rules that made us uncomfortable. Such as being unable to eat and drink (only water) in the room, but we do not feel comfortable eating in the communal area. They charge extra if the room is dirty, which suggests the owner is too lazy even to clean it, leaving us unsure whether the bed sheets were even clean. None of these unreasonable rules were mentioned in the advertisement or when booking. Why should anyone feel uncomfortable at a hotel?

- Caroline (8/5): Pleasant stay and would stay again - Great location and good value for money The clean knocking on the door 20 mins before our check out out time, to ask us to vacate. Then knocked again minutes later after we said check out was at 11am, to ask if she could leave the cleaning materials in the room.

- carlos balbuena (8/5): - The price was accessible, just good for value for money in a short stay. It has everything needed. Location wise wasn't bad, as it was about a 10 minute bus from the city center. It was mostly clean, only the sheets seemed to have some dirt under. Not much to do around.

- temiloluwa (8/5): Pleasant - I liked the decor, the neatness and the fact that each room had its designated space in the common area I’m not sure why, but the bedsheets had a very strong smell of chemical or probably detergent….not a bad smell, just a strong smell of something (I have a very sensitive nose). I couldn’t sleep well because the smell was overwhelming.
- Maciej (7/5): -
- philip (9/5): Absolute gem - Great Themed rooms, kitchen facilities outstanding. Key code for room access.

- philip (9/5): Absolute gem - Room decor and kitchen facilities Entering key codes to enter room
- philip (10/5): Absolute gem - Layout of the accommodation No key for front door, key codes instead
- philip (10/5): Absolute gem - Room decor and layout. Also great kitchen facilities Access to room via key coding
- philip (9/5): Great rooms with good kitchen - Themed rooms, security entry door system Location from city
- philip (9/5): Great place to stay - The rooms, facilities and kitchen area The check in process by code entry…poor system
- Parvathy (3/5): My husband and I were not happy. We traveled all the way from London. We were tired. Never slept well - I liked the cleanliness of my room Narrow staircase. Confusing entry to property and. Couldn’t locate my room. Noisy hotel residents, running up or downstairs, during the night. There was a television but no remote control.
- Charlotte (8/5): - Loved the lay out and kitchen The fact there was no instruction about the cinema loft we only noticed and realised the morning we left
- Tomasz (9/5): -
- Aiga (8/5): Excursion, event and visit - I really liked the colors of the kitchen. It was a rainy, cold day, but the rooms were warm. yellow room-Balera.butterfly-by the bed.the shelf needs to be removed.the cups are torn.the water carafe needs to be disposed of.the iron doesn't work.and the room needs a full-length mirror (can be narrow)
- Edwards (8/5): - I really liked the effort behind the decor.
Giving each room a bit of indivduality. Nothing not to like really.
- Chris (7/5): -
- Radu (9/5): -
- Jonathan (8/5): Nice place, quiet and easy to park - Nice compact room, very clean. Not for the less able, a lot of narrow stairs
- Salemi (1/5): Bad -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb - Very lovely place quite clean and close to town
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - It was excellent for the price, all covered in the e-mail from everything required from the people who run Baila Casa...in fact I didn't know that they had a kitchen which if I know could have been handy, I was veryhappy .... It was excellent.
- Violeta (2/5): Unpleasant experience at Baila Casa in Cinema room - Only the kitchen which was clean, lovely and sll the drawers and cupboards topped up with everything you need for a short stay. Everything else! The bathroom was smelling horrendous, I had to buy a bleacher to clean the toilet and the shower room.I found loads of hair on the bedding. As my room was at the 2nd floor I found very difficult to access the room on the very narrow staircase pulling my suitcase upstairs.
As my room was in the attic I found it very small and appropriate just for 1 night stay.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Bevan (7/5): Great value for money - Comfy bed in a clean warm room and warm shower. Tea and coffee provided No hair dryer
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sahil (4/5): Disappointing - The cleaning was not up to the mark, there was left over buds in between my mattress and bed. It was so gross there.
- Nicholas (9/5): Superb - Everything perfect
- Nigel (7/5): Very enjoyable few days. - Easy to find and plenty of on street parking. City centre within walking distance. Plenty to see and do in Nottingham.
- Andy (3/5): A HMO away from home - The kitchen was ok, I didn't use it, but looked well equipped. You almost need climbing equipment to access the room up the steep slope stairs. The toilet was extra small, almost inaccessible. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have EVER come across, TV had no TV channels that weren't subscription based. Drug dealing outside. I couldn't get in on arrival, stood outside in the pooring rain, the ring doorbell didn't bring any attention; I had to look through the paperwork to find a phone number to ask for admission details.
The blind doesn't exclude light and is not fitted with a child safety device, probably due to the none child friendly rule shown below.
If this was a deluxe room, I shudder to think what the basic room would be like.
The exterior didn't make you feel comfortable leaving a car outside, cars moving very fast, drug rockets going off at all hours.
The email with house rules the night before occupation; I found quite off putting, like a half way house for someone being rehabilitated back into society.
The rules emailed are:
"Please also take note of the following additional charges:

2. A 30 GBP charge for leaving the kitchen dirty especially leaving dishes in the sink for each event like this, especially after other guests' complaints
3. A 30 GBP charge for extra cleaning every 30 days and exchanging bedding.
4. A 100 GBP penalty for bringing extra guests who were not authorised to enter the property and their details were not provided to us.

- Martin (2/5): Bed bugs infestation - The decor The massive infestation of bed bugs within the property especially my room
- Nahuel (8/5): Good place to stay - The room's decoration is amazing It is not close to the city centre
- Lenuta (1/5): Bad - if is very sinister the room end is very very small in the photo you will see normally room but is very small end no hot weather very very very very cold Oll the time is not open the hits
it was not recommend no one to live in this property I was paid for six days in there was still living just 12 hours and getting some problem and the landlord was needed and wanted to give me the money back it’s a bad area it’s in sunny done you don’t have parking and his best person in the street it’s a dangerous street Very cold inside and very sinister after you booking is coming big rules you don’t have to do many things because they will charge you for your account £200 £150 depends
- Iman (10/5): Exceptional - This most definitely won’t be the last visit. The kitchen was really clean and the room was so comfy. Also, I wanna thank the staff for being so helpfull and for the fast response to any inquiry. Most importantly the location is within a walking distance from the bus stop which makes it easy to explore the city.
Thank you for the hospitality,
Iman The Internet very slow ìn my room because my room was upstairs
- Francis (10/5): Exceptional - The location was nice I like everything
