• Joy (6/5): Pleasant - Hygiene/cleanliness. The extractor fan over the oven emitted a smell of cooking oil/fat when briefly activated that permeated through the downstairs. Build up was visible around the switches. Upstairs bathroom extractor fan quite noisy.
• Kahli (4/5): Disappointing - a very rude neighbour who smashed on the door and woke my baby at midnight, couldnt heat the place or watch tv , had i known there was no place for parking i wouldnt have booked this place, perhaps should be mentioned on the ad. the place is also very noisey can hear every noise from the top floor .

• Heather (8/5): A comfortable place for a short stay - Good to have a garage, and the living space accommodated the four of us well. One of our group finds stairs challenging so it was great having a downstairs bedroom No slip mats for either shower
• Marjory (8/5): Break away - 2 Bathrooms, comfortable beds, although would have preferred King size beds. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Creaky table, since there was no comfortable seating for 4 adults, we were forced to sit by dining table. by every touch the table creaked.

Felt like a home away from home. They also appreciated the little courtyard in the apartment.” Thank You! Nothing to dislike.
• Martha (7/5): Spacious, charming house, but don’t expect to wash clothes or have air conditioning upstairs. - Spacious, charming house. We had intentionally selected air conditioning and a washing machine. The air conditioning is only one mini split on the ground floor, so the upstairs, which gets all the sun and is the hottest, really has no air conditioning. It got barely cool enough to sleep by about 11 pm. The washing machine is in the garage, not very clean, and looks like it hasn’t actually been used in years. Discouraging.

• Rachel (9/5): Comfortable stay at Hidden Gem - We had a great stay at Hidden Gem. It was in a good location, walking distance to Eat Street and a short drive to many of the different attractions that Rotorua has to offer. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The online house manual was helpful as it showed us how to operate the tv and washing machine among other things. Communication with the host was very clear and detailed. The beds were very comfy and it was great to have a garage so that we could store our bikes. We loved our stay at Hidden Gem as it was perfect for a family of five and would come and stay again if we came back to Rotorua.

The only thing we could suggest is an oven tray eg for roasting potatoes and/or grilling bacon! Otherwise the place had all we needed.

• Bilash (10/5): We loved the place. - Centrally located. It's a nice big place for a family. It has a common driveway and some people don't understand the inconvenience to others by parking on the driveway. Add in a clothes dryer. Otherwise, perfect place to stay with your family.
