• May (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this beautiful property. The cabin was incredibly cozy and beautiful, making us feel right at home. We especially loved the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking a real pleasure. The sauna was an absolute highlight—so relaxing after spending time in the cold outdoors. During our stay, there was plenty of snow. The owners, Ola and Martine, kindly showed us how to drive on icy roads, as we needed to drive up an icy slope to reach the property. Ola also recommended a great spot for a beautiful city view and to see the northern lights. To top it all off, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights just outside the property. Thank you for such a wonderful stay in Tromsø!

Sehr schön auf einer kleinen Insel gelegen mit vielen Möglichkeiten Nordlichter zu sehen. Sehr ruhig, fernab der Lichtverschmutzung und des Tourismus. Perfekt für ein paar ruhige und entspannte Tage

The place is thoughtfully furnished and has everything you need, especially the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking really enjoyable. The sauna was an absolute highlight and perfect for relaxing after a day out, especially in Norway’s climate. Everything was clean, quiet, and inviting, and the apartment truly felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it.

• Marc (10/5): tolles, kleines und super gemütliches Apartment zum Wohlfühlen - Tolle Lage auf einer Insel um Ausflüge mit dem Auto zu starten. Wir hatten hier eine super Woche über Weihnachten. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür und nach einem kühlen Ausflug schöne Wärme in der Sauna.

• Alexander (10/5): Gemütliche, gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung für ein paar Tage bei Tromsø - Check-In war problemlos, und die Unterkunft war mit der Beschreibung auch gut genug zu finden (im zweiten Anlauf) – es geht einen steilen Waldweg hoch, für den Winter gibt es einen Ausweichparkplatz. Für ein paar Tage ist die Unterkunft für zwei Leute geräumig genug und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Tromsø und die Ziele von Kvaløya bis Sommerøya sind gut erreichbar. Das Ganze ist sehr ruhig und gemütlich, geparkt wird direkt vor dem Haus. Die Unterkunft besteht aus bequemem Bett, Küche mit Essecke und geräumigem Bad mit Sauna – wobei mir statt der Sauna ein Sofa lieber gewesen wäre, so wurde halt im Bett entspannt. Immer noch bequemer und geräumiger als manches Hotelzimmer, und genau wie beschrieben. Das Bett ist bequem, die Küche bietet alles, und das Bad ist ausreichend groß und bietet genug Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Sauna haben wir nicht ausprobiert. Schöne kleine Ferienwohnung für ein paar Tage in der Nähe von Tromsø, wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist. Eine Bedienungsanleitung für den Elektro-Heizkörper wäre hilfreich, wobei die Kontaktinfos zu den Vermietern vorhanden waren und man hätte fragen können. Die voreingestellte Temperatur war aber okay. Der Hof vor dem Haus hat eine Außenbeleuchtung mit Bewegungsmeldern, etwas blöd zum Nordlichtschauen – aber keine 5 Minuten mit Auto gibt es auf der Insel geeignete Plätze ohne viel Störlicht und Bäume, oder man probiert sein Glück auf der Wiese hinter dem Haus. Also nichts, was wirklich ein Problem wäre.

Also the host had helped me to organise my girlfriends birthday presents to arrive at the location, and had gone and brought flowers and wine in her own time, I appreciate that a lot. A wonderful stay with wonderful people.

Although it felt very remote, the cabin was located close to Tromso, the Husky Cafe and some of the most scenic hikes that we have traversed in Norway. The hosts made us feel extremely welcome, with clear instructions and everything we could have ask for in the kitchen and bathroom, including our own private sauna. No complaints at all.

• Jessica (9/5): Exactly what we wanted. - The apartment was as described.... Cosy! It was the perfect location for nice peaceful walks or cosy days in and for trips into the city! The sauna was lovely after a walk or a long day. I'd also say it is bigger than it appeared in the photos. As we had a week long stay which is probably longer than usual the two things that would make it a 10/10 for us would have been a little 2 seater sofa in the bedroom so we could spend time relaxing without it been in a bed or the dining room table and a washer/dryer in the bathroom as we were unable to find any launderettes in Tromso, don't believe they are a 'thing'.

I especially liked the bathroom, nice big shower and sauna. The bed was comfortable. Parking right in front of the house. Internet connection was poor. The terrace could have had outdoor furniture to enjoy the sun:)

The location is very good for someone who seeks a quiet and peaceful place to stay, while still being close to town. The owners were very helpful and considerate, they were always happy to answer any question we had about Norway. Everything was perfect. I would just suggest getting an oven for the kitchen.
