• Laura (9/5): Comme à la maison - Très facile d’accès, à quelques pas de la mer, rue super calme et agréable et à 15 min à pieds de la Punta. On s’est senti comme à la maison car il y a peu de chambres. À disposition des vélos, parasols, une glacière. Toit terrasse très sympa en fin de journée. L’hôtel mériterait malgré tout un petit rafraîchissement, bien que ça fasse partie du charme.
• VIANEY (7/5): MAYOR SUPERVISIÓN DEL LUGAR - El alojamiento se encuentra a unas cuadras de la playa. El área de la cocina tiene cucarachas, moscos y hormigas. No tuvo limpieza esa área, ni el refrigerador común. No hubo trapo de cocina o servilletas desechables, para limpiar esa área. En el comedor, se usa de baño por gatos del rumbo. Por lo que comes tus alimentos con olor de desechos de gatos. Y las áreas comunes y escalera no se limpiaron, durante nuestra estancia. Las áreas verdes, estaban secas (las tuvimos que regar). Y falla mucho el internet.
• Thomas (9/5): Schöne und ruhige Unterkunft zum fairen Preis direkt am Strand - Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit wenigen Zimmern und entsprechend guter Privatsphäre. Süßer Garten mit Pool. Dachterrasse nachts auch ganz nett. Wir hatten das Penthouse und das ist echt sehr geräumig. Strand in 3 Gehminuten erreichbar. Läden und Restaurants alles auch fußläufig erreichbar, Parkplatz gibt es auch. Die Gastgeberin Gemma ist hervorragend erreichbar und ausgesprochen hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder!
• Cynthia (9/5): Beautiful and peaceful spot! - Beautiful property. The pool was clean. Sonia was amazing! She gave great recommendations! We were able to rent a scooter right there with her. Instructions on how to check-in were on the spot. No confusion and easy entry. Gemma was helpful when we did have a question. Location is great! We will definitely stay there again. The only thing is that they need new pillows. The ones there are flat and not comfortable.
• Amanda (9/5): Lovely bright spotless place with a lovely swimming area - The place was spotless and spacious with a lovely little swimming pool like an oasis. it was a bit of a walkto the swimming beach -10- 15 minutes. Not bad along the beach but jusy a minor issue to be aware of
• Charmaine (8/5): I will definitely book Casa Menta again. Great hosts, location, it's clean and the aircon was great! - The location was excellent; close to the beach and restaurants/tiendas. It was well secured, the shared kitchen had everything we needed. Also the pool was a relief to hang out by in the afternoon heat. The pillows need replacing. They are pretty hard and uncomfortable.

• morgane (9/5): Séjour exceptionnel au calme dans un petit paradis ! - Nous avons tout aimé dans cet établissement et y avons prolongé notre séjour. La piscine est super le jardin très calme. L’accès au réfrigérateur et à l’eau potable, très pratique. Service du linge, proximité de la plage : top ! localisation parfaite entre la Punta et Zicatella. Rien ! Tout était parfait

• Thomas mit th (5/5): - Nähe zum Strand, auch wenn der Abschnitt mit roten Flaggen gekennzeichnet ist. 10 Minuten weiter kann man Baden. Ruhige Gegend, kein Lärm. Möglichkeit Motorroller direkt von der Unterkunft zu leihen. Badezimmer soweit okay. Klimaanlage direkt auf das Kopfende des Bettes. Keine ausreichende Möglichkeit seine Badesachen gut aufzuhängen. Egal im Bad oder auf dem Balkon, kaum Möglichkeiten dazu. 4 Nächte Aufenthalt und nie wurde mal das Zimmer vom Strandsand gereinigt. Auch selbst hat man nicht die Möglichkeit aus der Gemeinschaftskuche mal einen Besen zu nehmen, da nicht vorhanden oder für Gäste nicht zugänglich. Auch wurde während des Aufenthalts der Badezimmermüll nicht entsorgt. Ist in Mexiko nicht so stark das ganze ewig stehen zu lassen.😑 Wohnbereich schon etwas abgewohnt. Wasserdruck nicht so gut, man braucht ewig um sich vom Sand zu befreien. Kopfkissen haben ihre beste Zeit hinter sich.
• MA LOURDES (9/5): - La habitación muy cómoda, a/c, plataforma, cocina a compartir, alberca, servicio de lavandería , bicicletas, muy completo. La anfitriona muy al pendiente y atenta; incluso con información adicional de la ciudad. Excelente estancia, salvo la ubicación. Viaje sola, no considere lo alejado, para llegar faltaba alumbrado público, por momento me sentí insegura por la oscuridad.

• Laura (9/5): Un lugar donde te sientes como en casa. La amibilidad y comunicación inmediata con la host, Gemma, fue sin duda invaluab - Gemma y Sonia lo más lindas!! Las habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado Y ADEMÁS ventilador. La alberca está muy limpia y en la noche se ve muy bonita iluminada. Hay gatitos y perritos en la propiedad. <3 Hay varias opciones para comer cerca y a 10 minutos caminando hay una zona con aún más opciones. La TV a ratos era un poco lenta y no se veían bien los canales. :(

• Rick (10/5): Cozy Peaceful Stay - Rooms - 10/10 Great Aircon and Fan, nice balcony, comfortable big bed, clean bathroom Staff - 10/10 Very attentive and kind Location - 9/10 The location was great being within very close proximity to the beach, however, if you plan on walking to La Punta or Ziccatella (which you will definitely end up doing just due to food options being limited in the immediate area), just prepare for a 10-15 minute walk each way. We didnt mind at all because we liked the walk and also appreciated not staying in the more busy and loud areas. Nothing
• Briana (10/5): Cute stay near La Punta - Clean and cute hotel in a nice centric location, with everything Zicatela and La Punta have to offer. Host was really friendly and overall it was a very easy and comfortable stay. Scooters available to rent to move around Puerto Escondido easily. The AC in our room didn't seem to be very well calibrated, it was either too cold or too warm.
• Ron (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful host, nice cool swimming pool, close to the beach and right at the center of it, close to everything. We were so thankful we could do laundry and rent a scooter all in one place as well.

Really sweet and responded very quickly over the chat or at the door. Location is very good and just a small walk to la Punta. Would definitely recommend! 🤩
• Yumi (10/5): Clean and quiet place to stay - 20 mins from bars and restaurants - The host, Gemma, was very communicative which was great. She was able to answer questions before I arrived. I never had the opportunity to meet her but I felt comfortable at Casa Menta. The keycode-locking system was good. The room I had was the one acing the pool. - it meant a little less privacy but the pool was never super busy. It was actually a very clean pool and was perfect for cooling off in the hot days at Puerto Escondido. The AC in the room worked, and I was impressed with the cleanliness. The bathroom was not spacious but it worked just fine and I have zero complaints. In the common room, there is filtered water. The room isn't "social" like it is in a hostel. There is one small table in the shade that some people used for breakfast or hanging out (so again, the hotel doesn't have a social area). From Casa Menta, it is a 20 min walk to the "strip" of Puerto Escondido, so it's not super close, and some people may want to order a taxi but I enjoyed the walk at night. Nearby is the cocktail bar Kara Salada. I highly recommned Casa Menta and would stay there again. nothing. everything was wonderful
• Robert (10/5): Exceptional - The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the a/c was also great. The garden and pool area was a really relaxing space. The host was especially welcoming and friendly, we really appreciated all her help with local reccomendations and ordering taxis for us. The area itself is quiet, which was a high priority for us as there are clubs open late in other similar areas. We were not kept up by noise at all (and we are both light sleepers!) The surrounding area is undergoing a lot of development and building work at the minute, but this issue is everywhere, not just casa menta
• Oscar (10/5): Great stay! - The owner and staff are very helpful and friendly, they try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We had an issue with a door and they fixed it promptly. The rooms are well equipped, the pool is small but clean and comfortable. Common areas are spacious and kept clean. Our stay was great, we would come back in a heartbeat.

Good air con (quiet!) and comfortable bed. The building work going on next door was a shame but there is a lot of construction going on in this area generally.

I miss all the great time I had in Casa Menta and all the amazing memories I made in Puerto Escondido with my beloved boyfriend, writing this review just makes me super nostalgic 🥹❤️.

• Michael (8/5): A comfortable and quiet stay in Puerto Escondido - Quiet location. Nicely furnished room with balcony. It is a 10 minute walk to La Punta and 20 minute walk to Zicatela, so we were able to enjoy both. The room didn't have a TV, which would have been helpful on the day where we had torrential rains and couldn't leave.
