• Jared (10/5): A simply and utterly magnificent stay!!!! - Honestly, my wife and I can’t stop talking about how beautiful this villa was. At least three of our friends have taken down the information and are trying to book for their trips down to Bali. The workers here made our stay one of the most memorable stays of our lives from the breakfasts to just their attentiveness and surprising us with a cake for her birthday, the whole entire experience was mind blowing. I hope someday our travels take us back to Bali and we can stay back in this villa. Na

• Arden (10/5): - We were lucky enough to stay in one of the few Jaya Villas, which was the most roomy, private, and beautiful villa of our trip! Everything was fabulous: the sizeable garden courtyard with pool, extra-large and comfortable bed and pillows, the customizable breakfast, the hot shower, and the full kitchen. The hosts were friendly, attentive, and diligent in carrying our luggage and arranging anything we needed. Thanks so much for our fantastic stay. Too bad we only had one night here - will return! We enjoyed the quiet location down a laneway in a local street and got around great on a hire scooter, but note the location might not be for everyone (ex. people wanting a short walk to lots of western restaurants and shopping).

The tropical garden surrounding the villa provided complete privacy and truly made us feel like we had escaped from the world. Every morning, a delicious fresh breakfast was prepared for us and the staff was always ready to help.

• Sean (10/5): Peaceful, beautiful place to stay, with such gorgeous hosts. - The villa was exactly as you see in the photos. It's just stunning. So peaceful, as long as you don't mind the odd rooster welcoming the morning. Pool is lovely and you are not disturbed by anyone nearby. Its a bit of a walk to the centre of Ubud, which was perfect for us as we got to explore the area, were away from tourist, and we love walking! Try the Balinese Home Cooking restaurant that's about 10 minutes peaceful walk away, the food is brilliant. If you don't like walking (though a Grab is only $6) or want to be near the action, this place won't suit.

• Birk (10/5): Amazing time, great host, wonderful place - The hosts were amazingly attentive, the property is really beautiful and we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Pool is awesome, location is really quiet and a bit detached from the Ubud chaos, which is a plus for us. Well overall recommend. I think you can provide better breakfast quality at that price, but we ate in the city mostly anyways. That’s the only thing I could criticize even if I’m trying. You do need your own scooter living here, you for sure don’t want tonalways call a grab/gojek.

This place is a beacon of peace and serenity! I can’t say that there is much I didn’t like, everything was spectacular! The only thing would be the skin pathway to get to the villa, but it’s worth every nuke and cranny!

The pool was amazing as well as the bed and the breakfast (with choice). The hospitality was very incredible me I highly recommend to stay in Jaya Villa if you want to spend à amazing trip next to Ubud. De also had a little present from the host which was highly appreciated 15min away from Ubud center, in a quiet neighborhood (with very nice neighbors). So do not hesitate!! /

• Lika (10/5): Excellent experience - The villa, the pool and the nature nearby were really excellent! The host and the staff were very friendly and helpful. For our wedding anniversary they wonderfully decorated the bedroom and the bathtub :) And we had complimentary floating breakfast every morning. The construction noise around the villa area since early in the morning was quite disturbing, but of course it has nothing to do with the villa. The pathway leading to the villa from the main road is quite narrow, and it’s very difficult for big cars to drive through, esp. in the dark. But the staff is there to assist you. And it makes no problems if you are riding a bike.
• Anonymous (9/5): Recommend - The villa is amazing and it looks exactly like the photos provided. The staff was super friendly, nice and answered to our every needs. We loved the fact that it was away from any main road and during the night everything was super relaxing as you don’t hear anything but nature surrounding you. I read some complaints that the villa is on a dirt road. Yes it is, but you walk 50m to the main road so that’s not a huge deal. You get a grab car and do whatever you want. Another complaint from others was the breakfast. Yes, you don’t have a huge list of options, but it’s very good and there’s not a lot of options near the area. I would recommend this place to anyone if they would resolve the shower issue. Hot water for the shower was very inconsistent. You have about 5 minutes of hot water but after that, it’s very cold. This is the only thing that it’s keeping it from being a perfect 10.

• Hezekiah (9/5): Beautiful Villa and amazing stay for a reasonable price! - The Indonesia-style breakfast (and the floating breakfast) was amazing. The pool was great, and the overall villa was beautiful. Great customer service and very responsive. The villa looked exactly as depicted. The only thing I didn’t like was the location. The villa is down a very narrow road that medium-large size cars won’t fit and you’ll have to walk your luggage 50 meters to the villa.

• Cheyenne (10/5): Beautiful Villa, friendly hosts. Would stay again. - Beautifully manicured gardens and peaceful surroundings. The Villa is immaculately designed and has a fully functioning kitchen, nice pool area and an awesome outdoor/indoor bathroom. The hosts were lovely people and were able to help with any requests we needed such as booking transport or vehicles etc. Breakfast was an alacarte menu and was absolutely amazing, hand delivered to your door each morning. The property is a little isolated (not near Ubud central) but my partner and I liked that. It was easy to find once you knew where it was.
• Chye (9/5): Superb - the villa is really well designed & comfortable. Host is nice & friendly. Breakfast provided is good. Very well service provided from the host. If you are here for a quiet getaway from the hustle & bustle this is the best place to rest. Things could have improved is the shower that doesn't comes with heated water, even though the bathtub have hot water. Couldn't find pots to heat up water at the stove, there is kettle provided but I doubt that it could be boiled on direct fire. Location is quite secluded & hard to find but again it's a good point for people like us to come for a quiet get away.

The bed was comfortable and you can't beat waking up to the sounds of local wildlife. The staff was super attentive and accommodating, and helped get us transport to and from the villa. The kitchenette was fine for our short stay and even came stocked with some drinks and fruit. Would highly recommend! The pool was a bit cold but we did jump in briefly. The villa is located at the end of an alley which is great for privacy but you do have to walk up the alley to meet any transportation, bit it only takes a couple minutes.

We fell ill just before arriving to the villa, and the hosts did everything to make us feel well; they offered to bring us food, they brought us an endless supply of water and checked in on us via text. The villa itself has been beautifully designed. Everything is in pristine condition, the bed is super comfortable, and it’s only 15 minutes to the centre of Ubud on the scooter! (There are also mini marts a 5 minute walk away if you want a quick snack) We had complementary drinks left in the fridge for us on top of a few other free treats! I can’t fault this stay at all. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved villa jaya and will definitely be back! Nothing
