We prepaid for an early check in an we were told “we don’t have any clean rooms available”. Then when I said we had prepaid for early check in, suddenly there was a clean room. So she bold face lied to me and she wasnt friendly. Same with all the staff. Not friendly when just asking for basic info.

Sharon (10/5): Excellent modern hotel - The hotel is in a great location for visiting downtown Waco. It was a very spacious room and very modern. The staff were very helpful. Being from Scotland it still felt very warm so standing at the elevator with the fire on was challenging 🤣🤣

Courtney (10/5): THE BEST HOTEL IN WACO BY FAR! - I LOVED EVERYTHING! We stayed at the Boulavard steakhouse talking to the hotel staff all night long! The cleaning ladies were super nice and understanding of what we wanted! The check in staff were perfect too! Loved the guy and the girls that helped us with check in! The only NEGITIVE thing I could say was for some reason our dryer stopped working and come to find out it was the electrical outlet that stopped working in the room.

Terri (8/5): We would choose Cambria again. - Spacious, upscale, pool Cambria pool was closed, but we were able to use sister hotel’s pool. housekeeping: 1) didn’t replenish coffee/water, had to call front desk. 2) I had made my bed that morning and when I came back it was all crumpled like someone had laid on the bed. Front parking entrance was closed due to utility work. The shower door kept sliding open due to the slope of the drain pan.

Holly (3/5): Beautiful but DIRTY - The rooms and hotel itself were beautiful and staff was friendly. The bathroom mirror was also a Bluetooth speaker Our room was filthy. We checked in around 6pm and there was some type of stain on the bed and the cups in the room had old food on them 🤮

I paid for early check in and even though it was approved, when we got there, I was told that they wouldn’t have my room ready until 3 PM (normal check-in time). They didn’t charge me, but it was disappointing especially since I had a headache and wanted to rest before going to the baseball fields. And I wanted to put our bags away before going to the fields. We weren’t able to come back until after 6 because of games. When I got back, I was told that they didn’t even have the room I requested (and paid for) because they were overbooked, so they would have to put me in a smaller room. She did give us breakfast coupons for the inconvenience. There was a filtered water and ice machine on our floor, but it didn’t work so I had to go to the floor above to get water and ice.

Nancy (10/5): Outstanding visit! Will stay here again! - I loved the light, bright, airy, and contemporary decor of the room. The bathroom was large, which made it very comfortable when 2 were in it at the same time. The hallway color and decor was tasteful and still fun and cheerful. I LOVED the art work in the lobby and we had such fun walking next door to the Farmer's Market on Saturday. Hubby would have liked to have carpet on the floor. We know that non-carpet flooring is the current popular style but it is nice when walking around barefoot to have the padding and warmth of a carpet. This was our only negative.
