Me hospede con mi prometido allí 2 semanas y al principio notamos que el aire acondicionado no funcionaba perfecto pero era aceptable, pero las dos últimos noches fueron terribles ya que el aire se dañó por falta de mantenimiento, nos quejamos y no querían dar soluciones incluso pedimos que si era posible un ventilador o cambio de habitación pero no nos dieron solución hasta que finalmente después de un día llevaron a alguien pero solo funcionó 2 horas y después volvió a ser un horno la habitación, fue realmente decepcionante. My wife wrote the spanish part. After seeing the response I want to clarify how false the hotel staff's responses are. I want to begin with the fact that I am an HVAC mechanic. 1) The air conditioning unit was not operated continuously for 10 days. That is simply false. Also, A/C units can absolutely be operated continuously, didn't you notice the same units in the hallways that were always on? Do you know why your refrigerator works? It is because the A/C compressor is constantly operating. Do you know why an air conditioning unit works? Because the same compressor is working. 2) Let's talk about the hose and the jug of water. Hotel staff entered my room when I mentioned the issue with the unit. I was told directly to my face that the jug was full and that was the reason it failed. I went outside to verify, the jug was in fact empty. Do you know why the jug was empty? It was because the liquid line to the condenser was frozen over. Do you know why the liquid line to the condenser was frozen over? Because there was a refrigerant leak. Also, why was there a closed container for a drainage hose anyway? The rest of this dirty city just lets it drain to the street so there is never any "filling of jugs" to worry about. 3) By the hotel staffs own admission, there are no maintenance workers employed. The "technician" that simply refilled the receiver with refrigerant but never fixed the leak. What was the point? There are no "knobs" to manipulate or reposition. I asked hotel staff if they would like my help, they said no. I did not disassemble a compressor motor to damage some cables, if that is what you're implying. If you actually replaced the unit instead of fixing it, then you got scammed out of a lot of money, my bet is that you're lying though, which is why I was not charged. 4) We declined to switch hotels at TEN PM (packing and driving across town for 1 night beside the airport?

Nevertheless, the place was still great. The staff was incredible. They offered to send me and my wife to the airport with bagged breakfasts because we were leaving early.

Bardzo miły personel oraz smaczne śniadania 🙂 Słabo działająca klimatyzacja w naszym pokoju oraz słabo wygłuszony pokój przez co w nocy nieco dokuczał hałas dochodzący z zewnątrz.

It was spotlessly clean and even though it was small it had everything we needed and more.High quality washing products. We had a good breakfast and the hotel booked a taxi to take us to the airport. Rather noisy pipe work and a cockroach ran out from under the bathroom sink but it was dealt with immediately. It was rather difficult to find the hotel as there isn't an obvious sign.

Personal muy agradable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo, al salir muy temprano del hotel con motivo del vuelo, y no poder utilizar el servicio de desayuno, nos prepararon el desayuno en bolsas para llevar, lo que fue un detalle. Instalaciones en perfecto estado de uso y limpieza. La entrada al hotel, desorienta un poco debido a su ubicación en la segunda planta de un antiguo palacio, pero una vez dentro, las indicaciones son claras y el personal se muestra sumamente atento a que tengas comodidad 100%.

The staff are also AMAZING, with complimentary Prosecco on arrival, attentive & quick responses via WhatsApp, endless teabag supplies, always smiling, being super helpful and showing us kindness. The facilities are super clean, fresh sheets and towels every day, lovely balcony. Room was very lovely and spacious. Smart TV and Aircon in the room is a plus, as with the complimentary daily water. The building is very secure and safe. The only TINY downside is the street can be quite loud at night, but it does stop and it doesn’t prevent you from being able to sleep

The woman who greeted us started us off with spritz and gave a free room upgrade that overlooked the hustling street below, which was packed full of events, shops, and street life. Our short stay had an early morning flight, so we were going to miss the breakfast offered. That didn't stop the staff from going the extra mile, providing us a delicious pocket breakfast to enjoy before our 230 am departure. Great location, clean hotel, and extremely tentative and friendly staff.

- damian (10/5): - The hotel was better than we had expected. Large ceilings in the rooms and a balcony overlooking the streets. The location was perfect for a 2 day short stay in Catania. Within walking distance of the main sites and shops. The staff recommended a nice restaurant our 1st night called Curtigghiu, and we stayed close by after the meal and had a few beers until the early hours, all of which was within walking distance of the Hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Breakfast room decor was really good and the omelettes were a satisfying meal to start the day and for the hot weather. Felt safe in Cantania and there was a good bit of police presence. Would certainly recommend the Hotel. Watch the price of taxis ! We took at tour about 20 mins north of Cantania and while Uber quoted it at 25 to 33 euro we were then charged 67 euro. No issues with the Hotel.

- Carmelo Junior (9/5): Wonderful, stylish and enjoyable! - A great place to stay. Big spacious room with balcony in a great location. Facilities were modern and stylish. Very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with lots of options. Staff were helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here. I had read reviews about the street noise before we booked this hotel. This was the only issue for us. Very loud at all hours of the night and early morning with trucks clearing rubbish from the restaurants below. I didn’t find the window shutters helpful at lowering the noise so we had sleepless nights for this reason only.
- Léonie v.C (10/5): Perfect Stay in the Heart of Catania - We stayed at Etnea Boutique Hotel for a long weekend in Catania, and it turned out to be a great choice. The location is simply perfect: right in the historic center on Via Etnea, just a short walk from everything – Piazza Duomo, the fish market, restaurants, and public transport stops. The hotel is set in an elegant historic building, with high ceilings and preserved frescoes that add charm, while the rooms are modern, well-furnished, and above all, very clean. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, newly renovated bathroom, and effective air conditioning (very welcome in the Sicilian heat!). Another highlight was definitely the staff: kind, helpful, and professional. They welcomed us warmly and gave us great recommendations for places to eat and things to see nearby. Breakfast was good, with several options even for people with dietary restrictions. It could perhaps include a few more local specialties, but overall it was more than satisfying A small note: some rooms facing the main street can be a bit noisy in the evening, but nothing that affected the quality of our stay

- Maria (5/5): - It was very central, and most of the staff helpful and very nice. Breakfast was very basic. Had scramble eggs and omelette on the menu but when we asked for fried eggs we had to pay extra... They had tomatoes but when we wanted to have tomatoes in the omelette they wanted to charge extra. Very low flexibility. The very hard beds. Schampoo in the shower in tiny plastic pouches instead of proper bottles with shampoo, conditioner and soap. Very basic. And as it's in the city (location is very central and great) you have to be prepared to hear loud traffic all night.
