• Konstantyn (9/5): I was staying at Charlotte Apartments not for the first time. They’re really keeping great level of hospitality! - Very quiet place, side of busy city centre so walking distance almost everywhere you need. There’s no smart tv - main issue for me.

• Pamela (10/5): Great stay at Charlotte Apartments - This was a great location for us, great value for money, great facilities, great communication with accommodation. TV remote didn’t work, shower could be a bit stronger, but these are just minor.
• Lee (10/5): - Great apartment in a great location. Free parking, very comfortable, and clean accommodation in a beautiful, old apartment block. Our 2nd stay and hopefully not our last. Well equipped kitchen and cosy living room with dining table.

Not adequately clean eg shower curtain, head and rail, and bedding. No way to put heating on, including towel rail. No instruction manuals for any appliances.

• Guest (4/5): The apartment needs work and supplies - the apartment was very clean and quiet there wasn’t any shower soap or coffee. The pillows are flat. we had no cold water in bathroom sink and almost no hot water. they need instructions on how to use the shower. It was definitely not intuitive. After contacting them , they did send someone out 10hours later but we were leaving the next morning.

La cocina estaba poco equipada, y eso que solo preparamos una cena. El baño podría tener algún producto más de aseo.

• Dokania (8/5): It was overall good stay but could have been more comfortable - It was a nice little Scottish decorated home. The staff was responsive when asked for heating help. The wooden floor was too creaky,asking for renovation. The baby bed was provided without mattress even upon asking for 2 days.

• donatella (4/5): Inqualificabile - Buona posizione e spazi ampi. 1) Dopo la Prenotazione richiesti 100£di caparra per la Casa e 50£ di caparra per il parcheggio che doveva essere gratuito(per fortuna abbiam trovato gratis a 100m dall alloggio senza versare alcuna caparra)pari quasi al Doppio del Prezzo versato con Booking 2)Altra cosa incresciosa vasca completamente intasata, impossibile lavarsi se non a pezzi nel Lavandino per non allagare tutto l appartamento. a dimostrazione che non fosse un problema ignoto un bello sturalavandino in dotazione. Inqualificabile.

Lo staff gentilissimo Appena entrati l’appartamento era gelido, abbiamo potuto accendere il riscaldamento solo alla sera. il wi-fi non andava bene. Per una sola notte abbiamo dovuto pagarle un deposito cauzionale di 100 gbp oltre al 50gbp per il telecomando del parcheggio (che abbiamo dovuto sollecitare) in cui , tra spese bancarie e tasso di cambio, ci abbiamo perso.

La calefacción no funcionaba en todas las estancias y encima tuvimos que pagar una fianza de 100 libras, de las cuales no nos devolvieron todo el dinero por la excusa del cambio de moneda. Tened esto último muy en cuenta.

• Anonymous (7/5): Met our needs for our overnight stay. - No obvious encouragement to recycle, the washing machine was full of clothes which appeared to have been washed, the walls in the kitchen were stained particularly beside the waste bin and the net curtain in the kitchen was dirty. Also the bathroom would benefit from redecoration.

The kitchen really isn't equipped beyond crockery and glassware so bear in mind if you were planning to cook at all - fine for serving up takeaways of which there are plenty nearby. Bathroom is a little dated.

The double bed was extremely comfortable and warm. The apartment had everything we needed it for and was amazing value! The windows were quite difficult to open and close! Sleeping in the living room area was loud, due to the road outside and the room became very bright in the morning making it difficult to stay asleep

• Patrick (8/5): Quiet and comfortable while still being close to the centre of Glasgow. - The apartment was nice because it was quite spacious in an old-style building, with a pretty exterior and a good-sized sitting room with plenty of space for dining or entertaining. Very little I would suggest changing; perhaps adding another electric socket for phone charging so that there was one on each side of the bed.

• Meanmichi (5/5): Bad customer service. Nice apartment. - The apartment itself was great. It is on the SECOND floor (floor 1 per the UK). The tv was great with many options, there was a fridge that was icy cold, and there were towels. Communication with the owner was difficult and often came across as rude. I would try to not rent from this person if at all possible.

I was given a door code. In the end it was fine, but I twice asked the owners what I should do in the unlikely event that the code did not work, given that we were arriving at 10 p.m. They did not reply. This was a bit unsettling. (They replied to all our other questions.) Fortunately, the door code worked. I was also taken aback to learn that there was a deposit and that I needed by pay by etransfer; this didn't seem to be part of the property description when we booked. Fortunately, this was waived. Instructions on how to use the shower and turn on the heat would have been appreciated.

All facilities you need available We did end up with a twin room instead of a double - but it didn't bother us - single beds were comfy enough!!

• Jennie (7/5): Good value for money. - On arrival the flat was absolutely freezing. Took a while to warm up. Shower not great either. Bed and pillows comfy. It’s right next to the Barrowlands so excellent for the gig we were going to. Really quiet area. Good communication with host was good.
• Nick (4/5): Great location, bad for all else. - The location was fantastic for what the room was required for, very close to the Barrowlands as required. Parking is offered and requires to be asked for in advance, this was done the day after booking months before arrival. The key fob to access the parking was not provided. With extremely limited parking in the area this was very disappointing. All methods of contacting anyone responsible were ignored, and there has still been no reply to emails about this a week later. The heating is set to turn on and off at certain times, turning the room into a sauna early in the morning. The window would not stay open to cool the room. The furnishings felt cheap, the chips out of most of the bedroom furniture. A deposit was asked for repeatedly, with a bank account being sent to send this to, with no guarantee or refund.

• Rhianna (5/5): Passable - We went to a gig at the barrowlands so the location was great and we had a nice space to ourselves, there was also parking included which was great. It was very clean Before the trip we were asked to pay a security deposit to an external account which I'm always a little uncomfortable about. When we arrived it was freezing and we weren't able to put on the heating, after I called they fixed it, but it took a while to heat up. We also had someone walk into our flat (there are codes on the door), it became apparent that the flat had been double booked, the other person was relocated upstairs, but it made us feel uncomfortable. Finally, after leaving and getting our deposit back, the owner called me a week later to ask if we wanted the room cleaned, confusing us with another guest staying there.

Very conveniently located to local attractions. Property is very well maintained. Clean!! Most of the heaters are not working. Bedroom on heater was functioning well. No shower gel/ shampoo in the bathroom.

The contact person did not know immediately how to work the heating. Bathroom heating was not working at all but a small radiator was provided eventually. Low Emmission Zone was not warned about. Please take care not to enter the zone in a non electric vehicle! It's very near by the flat! Sofa bed very uncomfortable.

• Jitka (9/5): Very clean, cosy and comfortable. - Fabulous location, so close to The Barras Markets, the bus stop for the red city sightseeing bus, and lots of shops, eateries and restaurants nearby. Great facilities to have kitchen, bathroom, lounge room and dining room. Very comfortable bedroom and mattress. Easy to access using PIN. Very clean and cosy. Need written instructions on how to operate the heating system and the washer / dryer. We are not Scottish and not familiar with these systems.

The location was really handy and secure parking was a bonus, once we worked out the heating it was lovely and warm. Just little things that weren’t an issue for us, the shower pressure was on the weaker side, one of the sofas had a broken spring which was uncomfortable to sit on
• Gretchen (1/5): Wouldn’t stay here again - Wi-Fi didn’t work and host wouldn’t respond. Host kept asking for “deposits” for things and my bank account information to refund them. Was not comfortable with this. Parking was available and host wouldn’t allow us to park there without a deposit. Host wouldn’t respond when asked about it. Water pressure was a trickle and heat did not work properly. We were very cold the whole duration of our stay. Very old apartment.
• Evonne (9/5): Superb - Really cosy, welcoming apartment! Clean with all we would need for a longer stay. The location was the stand out on this stay for a Barrowlands gig, only a four minute walk away ☺️ Will definitely book here again and will recommend to friends /family

Pull out couch/bed in the main room very uncomfortable, last persons hair was present on the sheets, Blankets required laundry. Our security deposit owners kept and was never returned back.
