• Diana (8/5): - the staff were very friendly and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. The highlight was definitely the boat deck, which made it so easy to hop on a boat and start water activities right away. Also, keep in mind that the waves are quite loud at night, if you are booking seaview type of room. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper. Bring your own snacks since there is no breakfast provided and there is no daily housekeeping.

• Agathe (10/5): - La chambre et la sdb étaient très propres. Le lit équipé d'une moustiquaire. Petit balcon privé avec hamac, super pour chiller. Toutes les personnes travaillant à olala sont super sympa, toujours disponibles pour rendre service. Bonus : spot de snorkelling au pied de l'hôtel.

• Nor Zaini (6/5): 1 night di Olala Bungalow Sabang - Nature, air laut jernih. Tepian pantai nampak ikan. Deru ombak & angin rasa tenang di beranda. Ada hutan ada pantai & laut, dpt nikmati alam. Di pelantar boleh santai2 sambil nikmati anak2 ikan bermain. No hot shower. No soap&shampoo. Kami 6 org wargamas 60-75 thn agak mencabar menuruni tangga curam ke chalet tepi pantai. Jalanraya di selekoh masuk ke chalet berlubang hingga kereta sukar drive, line internet tak berapa baik, signage tak nampak buat kami sesat tersasar jauh untuk sampai ke chalet kerna lokasi nya perlu lalui jalan dlm ke hutan. Kami di bantu oleh seseorang utk sampai ke lokasi. Kedudukan chalet2 tepi laut perlu turun ke anak tangga yg jauh ke bawah, curam sgt tidak sesuai utk wargamas spt kami.

• Sabine (9/5): Es war toll! - Der Bungalow direkt über dem Meer und das Wasser direkt zum einschlafen darunter. Liebe Gastgeber und leckeres Essen! Es hätte vielleicht noch ein Regal oder irgendein Haken für Kleidung geben können. Der Eimer mit dem Toilettenpapier wurde leider nicht geleert.

• Eline (7/5): - Het personeel was heel aardig! Ze hebben me goed geholpen met alle vragen. Mijn bungalow was geweldig, maar ik had locals als buren die non-stop aan het praten waren. Het leek alsof ze in mijn bungalow zaten. Toen ik vroeg om een andere bungalow kreeg ik die, maar die was helaas wel ietsje minder qua comfort. Ik heb voor 5 nachten geboekt, waarvan ik er 1 in de bungalow heb geslapen. De accomodatie zit aan een pier waar je heerlijk kan zwemmen en snorkelen. Helaas werd ik in de middag lastig gevallen door een local die zelfs in de avond terug kwam en me verder lastig viel. Ik voelde me als solovrouw heel erg onveilig en durfde niet meer alleen in mijn bungalow te slapen, die ook afgelegen ligt. Het blijkt vaker voor te komen dat vrouwen daar worden lastig gevallen door local mannen, dus hou daar rekening mee! Ik heb meerdere vrouwelijke toeristen gesproken die dezelfde soort sfeer hebben ervaren als ik. Ondanks dat je je houdt aan alle kledingvoorschriften.. Ik heb aan de medewerkers uitgelegd wat er is gebeurd en ze hebben mij super geholpen! Vooral Alvine! Aan hun ligt het niet. Helaas heb ik mijn geld niet terug kunnen krijgen, omdat het al was betaald via booking.com

• Stephanie (9/5): - It is a perfect location! Wake up to the best view in the world and go to sleep with the sound of the waves. The snorkelling in front is exceptional. You will see so much more than you think as there are hardly any boats. The restaurant has a wide range of options and there are others in walking distance. Staff were so helpful and friendly, we will be back soon! Thank you, Alfien and the team! In terms of value for money, it is excellent. Bring mosquito repellent - you have to pay a small price for the jungle life.
• Adrian (9/5): Idyllic Location - In a lovely idyllic location on the waters edge, basic accommodation with AC and tepid water which is just what u need The Wi-Fi is good in the restaurant we had a hut furthest away from the restaurant and had no Wi-Fi which we found nice ( most huts had Wi-Fi ) The balcony over looked the water which is so rich with fish so snorkelling only meters away there must be over 30 different fish and colours just of the jetty We saw sea eagles, monitor lizards and monkeys from our balcony what a lovely setting and u get a great view of the sunrise over the island The restaurant had a good menu and the food was nice and not over priced ( Elvine Was a great asset to guesthouse and a good cook and run the place very well ) You can walk to other restaurants, shops and cafes ( with great coffee ) all within 10 mins You are close to Dive shops I used Iboih dive centre ( PADI ) which was really good ( 10 mins away ) We got our laundry done in the village very cheap (cheaper) Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay the waiters / waitress were excellent :-) We did order a moped for the day but it didn’t turn up :-( but if u walk 10mins away in to I’m the village u can get one very easy no need to book :-) Just a personal thing cats on tables whilst having food big no no :-(

We stayed in bungalow right above the sea..... be aware it is very noisy especially in the night (bring earplugs 😀) Only cold water in the shower however thats normal in Indonesia and was actually refreshing .

Rustikale Zimmer mit super bequemen Bett und Hängematte auf dem Balkon für entspannte Sundowner. Tolle Terrasse mit Blick über die Bucht. Das absolute Highlight für uns waren die Besitzer, die super lieb und aufmerksam waren und uns Tipps für gute Strände und Ausflüge gaben. Besonders toll: das Essen ist eine glatte Empfehlung! Jeden Abend wurde frisch gekocht und es gab sogar eine Pizza Night!! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank für das super Erlebnis. /

• Esther Andrea (8/5): Netter Bungalow in toller Atmosphäre - Wir hatten einen Bungalow direkt am Meer. Die Aussicht war phänomenal. Die Betten waren gut. Das dazugehörige Restaurant mit Wahnsinns-Aussicht ist nett und man trifft immer mal wieder neue Menschen. Hier bleibt man fit: Es geht ständig Treppauf-Treppab (nichts für gehbehinderte). Die Angestellten sind durchs Band sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Man kann sich bei Bedarf auch einen Roller mieten, Ausflüge mit dem Boot oder ein Taxi organisieren lassen. Das WLAN Signal reichte nicht bis zu unserem Bungalow. Die Nasszelle war OK, aber könnte etwas Liebe vertragen wie z.B. ein neuer Duschkopf.

• ArneeFMN (9/5): - The sea view bungalow is everything, although you might need to climb some uneven stairs😂 Think twice if you have difficulty to walk, it is quite a hike to go up to the cafe or the reception. Nothing fancy but just enough to cover your stay in Sabang. I would like to thank all the staffs at Olala, the foods were amazing, friendly to chat with and hopefully we will meet again soon😊 I don't have any ridiculous high end stay expectation, but maybe just a suggestion to check on the air-cond. It can be really hot during the day time, I assume for some people, night time too. Perhaps check on the gas? 🤗

Ivan, Mammy and Papi and all the staff were super friendly and made sure I was well looked after during my stay. Stunning location overlooking the sea. The views were amazing to wake up to everyday, as is the food in the restaurant, which I ate in most days. Friendly place to hang out and meet others, arrange snorkelling trips and just chill. My room had AC and a hammock on the balcony which was prefect for relaxing in. My bungalow was connected to some neighbouring bungalows, so it was occasionally noisy. Bring ear plus if you are a light sleeper :)

• Benjamin (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft direkt am Meer - Die Lage mit direktem Zugang zum Meer war perfekt! Unser Bungalow war sehr sauber mit direktem Blick aufs Meer. Tolles Hausreef zum Schnorcheln. Das Essen im Hausrestaurant war immer sehr lecker! Das Personal ist super nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Danke auch besonders an Alfie der sich sehr um die Gäste bemüht und immer für einen da ist!

• Marina (10/5): - This is the best accommodation in Pulau Weh, the bungalows are clean, the location is great and the view is fantastic. You can snorkel straight from the accommodation. But the best is the staff, Alfin is a great host, they always care about your needs and to bring you the best experience. The food is really really good, I truly miss the fresh juices!

• Wakely (10/5): - Emily and I stayed at Olala for just under a week, we wish it could have been longer! First of all the location is phenomenal. You can snorkel right outside and see so many fish, we saw dolphins and stingrays one night, and sometimes turtles! You can hire snorkels at Olala. They also organise snorkelling trips. 5 minute walk into the town, where you can get local food, organise scuba diving trips etc. It’s about a 45 minute drive from the ferry terminal with tuk tuk or taxi:) The service was amazing, all of the staff were very hospitable and kind. The food at the restaurant is really delicious too- the chef Alfine cooked the most amazing fish curry & Tom yum soup! We had a private balcony with a hammock and amazing view. Private bathroom. Good mosquito net on bed. Lots of gecko’s running around! A big thank you to alfine and the rest of the staff at Olala for making our stay amazing! The staff also organised a taxi for us to get back to sabang and tuk tuk driver for around the island. I have no complaints and will be recommending Olala to anybody I meet heading to Pulau Weh.

Équipements limités (chaise en plastique sur la terrasse, pas de lumière dans les escaliers en pierre, pas de bouteille d’eau ni bonbonne collective) et donc rapport qualité prix moyen. Cuisine pas terrible.
• Marie (10/5): Tolle Bungalows mit einem sehr guten Restaurant in top Lage! - Die Mitarbeiter im Olala sind super zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit! Jede kleine Frage wurde mir sofort freundlich beantwortet und alle Aktivitäten konnte ich problemlos über Olala buchen. Zudem ist das Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant super lecker und die Aussicht wahnsinnig schön! Die Zimmer sind zudem sauber und in der Hängematte auf dem Balkon lässt es sich super aushalten! Mich hat es nicht gestört, dennoch sind die Zimmer sehr sparsam eingerichtet. Ein Bett, ein kleines Regal, ein Ventilator und 2-3 Haken in der Dusche. Ein größerer Spiegel und 1-2 Haken am Waschbecken wären tatsächlich noch hilfreich.

• Lilly Heine (10/5): fantastische Unterkunft - wirklich sehr schön gelegen, direkt am Meer mit vielen Tauchschulen in Laufreichweite. Das Personal war unglaublich nett und immer sofort ansprechbar, wenn irgendwelche Fragen oder Wünsche auftauchten. Das Essen hat immer fantastisch geschmeckt und die Küche ist auch sauber, so dass man ohne Bedenken hier essen kann. Uns hat unser Aufenthalt sehr gefallen.

The staff were so friendly (especially the young man I believe his name was alvin) always made an effort to have a conversation with us and give some recommendations for the island. The location was so beautiful you could snorkel straight off the pier and see so many fish 🐠. The food in the restaurant was also super yummy, with western and Indonesian options, we ate there every day !

• Alfin (1/5): Olala yg mengecewakan - AC lumayan dingin, tapi lokasi kamar tidak sesuai harapan yg sehatusnya di pinggir pantai. Banyak sekali 1. Adminnya slowrespon 2. Terjadi double booking karena tidak ada komunikasi antara admin online dan offline 3. Karena double booking sehingga kami diungsikan ke penginapan lain yg tidak sebanding lokasi dan fasilitasnya. 4. Saat mati arus pln tidak ada arus listrik dari sumber lain, sehingga gelap gulita dimalam hari sekitar 2 jam selama menginap 2 hati.
• Maria (10/5): Koniec świata, początek Indonezji (bo tam zaczyna się kraj), sielsko, miło, smacznie. - Super miejsce, dookoła mnóstwo zieleni. I czysto! Do tego ekstra menedżer i kucharz - Alvin! Jest jak król i królowa jednocześnie i zawsze we wszystkim pomoże i doradzi. Śniadanie z widokiem na błękitne morze? Czego można chcieć więcej? W Menu bardzo dużo różnych pozycji. Każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. I koniecznie trzeba zamówić kopi su-su. Trochę przeszkadzają pływające łódki na wyspę, którą widać z tarasów, ale tego nie da się zmienić ;). Łódki, które pływają do najbliższej, turystycznej wyspy, gdzie się nurkuje, więc ten hałas nieco przeszkadza.

La pulizia in generale, l'odore delle lenzuola e asciugamani, fuori il bungalow era pieno di erbacce, spazzatura un po' in giro, accendono fuoco tutti giorni penso per bruciare la spazzatura... Non c'era molta vita da vedere con lo snorkeling in quell'area della struttura. Alvin si da da fare con il rapporto al pubblico, ma forse ha bisogno di buoni collaboratori che facciano bene il loro lavoro. Sulla cucina meglio che non mi esprimo... Il prezzo senza colazione è un po' alto per quello che hanno da offrire, niente acqua negli spazi comuni, niente tè, di cortesia come fanno un po' dappertutto. Insomma, paghi la camera ad un prezzo più alto della media, e niente di più. Niente presa elettrica in bagno, niente spazio per appoggiare le cose in bagno, lavandino minuscolo. Se sei piccolo va bene, ma il mio fidanzato allaga tutto per lavarsi i denti. Lucchetto per chiudere la porta da fuori super ossidato, ci è rimasto l'odore nelle mani per tutto il giorno.

• Bakker (8/5): Heerlijk tot rust komen in deze eenvoudige maar prachtige bungalow! - De locatie is echt prachtig! Voor een bungalow met uitzicht op zee betaal je iets meer maar het is het geld dubbel en dik waard! Ook het restaurant, met een uitgebreide en lekkere menukaart, kijkt uit op het helderblauwe water. De omgeving is makkelijk te verkennen met de scooter. Omdat ik buiten en seizoen langs ben gekomen waren er niet veel andere reizigers en moest ik de snorkeltrip privé boeken waardoor het duurder was. Het personeel was wel heel vriendelijk en makkelijk aanspreekbaar. Wel jammer dat ze geen map konden geven van de omgeving met de leuke spots om te bezoeken.
• A_CH_G (3/5): Decepción - - Ofrecen muchos servicios. - El restaurante tiene comida muy buena. - El sitio es bonito. - El personal es muy amable. - Pagué la habitación más cara y el lavabo daba autentico asco. Diría que no se ha limpiado nunca. - Habitaciones muy caras para lo que en realidad te encuentras. - Deberían renovar lavabo y algo de habitación.
• Julien Molina (9/5): - L'emplacement est top ! Le restaurant est ouvert du matin au soir, nous y étions tout le temps. Les prix sont corrects et les plats sont bons.
• George (10/5): Lovely place, very nice staff and excellent restaurant - Lovely location overlooking the sea with a view of the small island opposite. The rooms are basic, especially the bathroom, but the bed was comfortable, every bungalow has a hammock, and there's air conditioning, which I did not expect here! The best part is the restaurant area, which has a comfy chair swing and other comfortable seating to relax in. The rooms face east, so you can leave your curtains open for a view of the sunrise in the morning. The manager was really sweet and friendly, and the restaurant is excellent with lots of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. All the assistant staff were super friendly too, always greeting you with a smile. Don't expect a nice swimming beach nearby, and you'll need to rent a scooter or driver to see other sites on the island, like the waterfall and hot springs. It's about 40 minutes by motorbike taxi to the harbour. I rented snorkelling gear from here, and loved the underwater sea life. You can jump in from the jetty in front of the bungalows, and just a short distance offshore you can be surrounded by lots of colourful fish within minutes! Note if you have a bungalow close to the water the waves can be very loud, so bring some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper! Maintenance of the grounds could be better. There had been winds recently and the paths needed to be swept, and the path to my bungalow was blocked by branches which I had to cut.
• Gerald (9/5): - Hatten ein Bungalow in der 1. Reihe über dem Wasser, ein einmaliges Erlebnis! Vorallem die Hängematte! Man muss sich auf Wellengeräusche einstellen. ;) Lage war perfekt um zu entspannen und vom hektischen Alltag auszusteigen. Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit und die Küche war sehr gut! Man wartet nur wie überall auf Pulau Weh immer ein wenig auf sein Essen, dafür wird frisch für jeden gekocht. Ein Moskitonetz über dem Bett wäre nett gewesen. Hatten aber eigentlich gar keine Probleme mit Insekten, da das Bungalow über dem Wasser war.
