• Aleksandr (5/5): - location, beach and shops nearby, pool and kitchen There's no hot water, the balcony doors don't close tightly, mosquitoes fly in at night, the air conditioning works very poorly, it's hot at night, dogs nearby howl and spit all night, and it's impossible to sleep in peace.
• Karina Meitrisari (6/5): Ok - close to the beach, staffs were friendly, they always clean the room everyday, locker are decent there’s one chinese-indonesian guy that stay for long time there and he was very annoying and even ask me if i ever having s*x with foreigner or not and he even told me that the question that he was me usual in bali meanwhile he doesn’t even want or even brave to ask ask the same thing to the foreigner, he was using a shower for so long like more than 30 mins in the bathroom, he was also put his short in the bathroom, he keep saying that it was clean but i dont care if its clean or not but he shouldnt put that in the bathroom, he always cutting when i’m talking like his opinion are the best, meanwhile its not , he even asking a weird question to 2 other indonesian guys, he also was enter the other room to use the bathroom which is not even allowed and after that he leave the room he sounds say sth curse on me and blame the door

Also the people that I was sharing the room with were not very considerat - Staff was friendly The floors and the toilet in my room were super dirty. The shower didn’t have any curtain so all the water was going straight on the floor, toilet etc. Also there were no dry place to put my stuff. Floor in the room was also super dirty. Outside area had no place to chill for people from the hostel

• Manon (4/5): Dommage ! - L’emplacement est très bien, et le cadre de l’hôtel très joli avec une belle piscine et une cuisine propre. Le restaurant au rez de chaussé est très sympa et le personnel gentil. Les chambres partagées sont très mal insonorisées, on entend absolument tout ce qu’il se passe dans la rue. La climatisation est très mauvaise. La salle de bain n’est pas nettoyée correctement. On sent un manque d’entretien générale (rideaux, pommeau de douche). De plus un matin j’ai été réveillée par un membre du personnel à 6h me demandant de partir car il avait une nouvelle réservation alors que j’avais réservé pour encore deux nuits. Une erreur sans doute mais liée à un manque d’organisation évident. Manque de sécurité (réveillée à 5h du matin par des inconnus dans la chambre discutant avec l’un des locataires et regardants tous les lits). Même un bas prix ne justifie pas cela. Vraiment dommage !

• Lorenzo (10/5): Perfect location in the heart of Canggu and close to the beach, great stay, nice and chill! - Perfect location, walking distance to the beautiful Echo Beach, perfect for surfing and gorgeous sunset walks, and to countless pretty cafes for coffee and brunch, restaurants, shops. The hostel itself is nice and peaceful, they have two swimming pools, one slightly smaller than the other. The pool area is neat and ideal to chill. Everyone is very friendly around the hostel and the staff is kind and always available. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean and spacious and everything works fine. They also have a cute cafe by the entrance where you can have nice coffee and breakfast.
• Jasmine (8/5): Good but only one toilet in room and guests don’t respect hostel etiquette - Clean rooms, good price, great kitchen area (two areas), peaceful building, really good location near the beach The guests in the dorm were talking loudly in the room at 11pm and another night at 4am, not even whispering just making lots of noise. I think the rules need to be reiterated to guests when they checkin that it’s a hostel not their own hotel room with friends. When I stay in normal hostels, even party ones, people know not to talk after 10pm, but I feel like that etiquette didn’t exist in this dorm because it’s more like a hotel so it’s like the rules don’t exist anymore. Also as a woman, most the guests in the room if not all were men, so it’s a bit uncomfortable. Also there was no soap in the toilets, I bought a bar of soap for 10k for the room, doesn’t cost much, and hygiene is important with 6 people in the room. And there’s only 1 toilet for the guests, and no info when you arrive or a second toilet (asked the night manager and he said there’s no extra toilet when I was desperate at 4am, even though there was one). The extra toilet is in the second building. So don’t book this if you have Bali belly and need guaranteed access to a toilet 😆 overall it’s cheap and fine and the kitchen is good, but for me not worth the cost to your physical health.

• Kayleigh (1/5): You get what you pay for… - The pool was lovely and the location was amazing! The room was dirty and smelt terrible, there was human pee everywhere. I booked to stay in a mixed dorm but was put in a room with only guys (who were very creepy) despite there being a mixed dorm with females available. They also don’t tell you they lock the property at night so late at night in the rain I spent 20 minutes waiting for someone to let me in. I also wasn’t give a key for my locker which I had people steal my chargers from it

They help me w bag storage for few days with an amazing price. There is a caffe locate in the gran flor, it offer great deals for breackfas and luch, amazing costumer service. without a towel.

• Ciara (6/5): Great value in a great location - Great location, friendly staff, modern hostel, great to have a pool although there are only a few loungers! No curtains on top bunks, bathroom floor was almost always wet and there was no hooks to hang things up so clothes and shower things got wet easily, there was also no soap in the dorm bathroom which was quite annoying

• Aisling (6/5): Decent for the price, quite basic - Location was great, close to lots of restaurants and the beach. Pools were nice and a few sun loungers to sit on as well. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very grimey, and smelly. Lots of stains even after we asked them to clean it. There’s no lock on the door- there is supposed to be 24hour security but the security guard was asleep every night so didn’t feel that safe.

• Ashish (8/5): Very good - Kayuma House Canggu – Highly Recommended! 🏡🌴 I had a great stay at Kayuma House Canggu! From the moment I arrived, Mirah welcomed me with a warm heart and explained everything clearly about the place, which made me feel instantly at home. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the security is solid — I felt safe throughout my stay. The bunks are comfortable, the pool is well-maintained, and the whole space has a relaxed, cozy vibe. While the bathroom could use a new seat and a bucket would be a helpful addition, overall the facilities were great. A special thanks to Mirah for being so accommodating — I was initially given a top bunk but preferred a lower one, and she happily moved me as soon as it became available. It’s that kind of thoughtful hospitality that really stands out. The owners are kind and compassionate, and they also run a fantastic coffee and eatery just downstairs — definitely worth a visit! ☕🍽️ Location is perfect too — just a 5-minute walk from the beach. Plus, the hostel is pocket-friendly, making it an ideal spot for budget travelers. Would absolutely stay again – highly recommended! 🌊✨ Commode seats need to be upgraded

• Marilen (9/5): Superb - This hostel became our home while staying in Canggu. It’s close to the beach, the best warung, convenience stores, and everything else you would need. The beds are very comfortable and the curtains give you the privacy you need. The bathroom could be cleaner (but I think it was clean in Bali terms). The pool is refreshing and there is free drinking water available. They have a little cafe/restaurant with yummy food. The laundry service is quick and reliable! The staff is super friendly and happy to help with anything (our beach bag had disappeared from our room and they found it back)! I would recommend this hostel to everyone! Had the best and relaxing time there! Thank you Kayuma hostel and until next time! Bathroom could be a little cleaner

• Hans (8/5): Very good place and economic - The beds were good and staff very friendly with a offer for breakfast that was very good, I recommend watermelon juice but not the orange juice is a bit watering. Overall good location close to many business, la Brisa and other beach clubs in Canggu.Room had a balcony for smokers and to the street, during night was quiet perfect to rest. However toilet could be a bit cleaner and the beds floor was missing a wet cleaning, there were spot of liquids in places that could be easily cleaned with wet mop.
