- Atma (3/5): Poor -
- Nigel (1/5): Bad - The area is so bad even the indian taxi driver said "you no stay here, this the worst slum in Chennai " then when i walked in and said" ive got a room booked" he said "no" so i showed him the booking and then he said " all hotels in this part of the city have been banned from taking non indian residents " so i had to frantically seach for another hotel, but i did eventually get one in a bit better area
Nowhere in the booking.com advert did it say no non indians

- Daniel (1/5): Bad - First I was told that A/C room is not available even though I got the booking confirmed. I accepted non-AC room but insisted on lower price. After some negotiation they agreed even though they didn't seem to be very happy about it. In the end they refused to check-in because I didn't have Indian phone number. Unfortunately I wasn't able to buy a sim car at the airport neither at about 10-15 shops I asked at. This requirement should not be imposed because it's very difficult to get a sim card for a foreigner. Especially this being a first day in India.
