- Wynne (9/5): - Cottage was very modern comfortable and we really enjoyed our weekend there ! Just U have to drive every where
- Sean.C. (9/5): -
- Gemma (9/5): A lovely, peaceful place - Although remote, the property was easy to find and just what we needed. We stayed here the night before getting an early ferry from Rosslare, just 15 minutes away.
The bed was really comfy. The decor was spot on.
Easy check-in instructions from Alessia. Everything was great, only a minor niggle that there was no bath mat for exiting the shower.
- Serena (8/5): - Good accommodation for an overnight or couple of days, especially when driving to/from ferry port
Lovely decor, great comfy bed, fab shower and felt secure/safe as a lone traveller After an 8 hour drive from the west coast the last thing I needed was to 'pop out' for milk .... but the location made up for that so not a deal breaker!

- katy (10/5): Excellent stay - My booking was very last minute and the hosts could not have been any better about it. Once thw booking was confirmed communication with the host was excellent and i really appreciated this. The cottage was clean, quiet and had absolutely everything you need. I would not change anything about it. Its exactly as described and did my job perfectly

- Mike (10/5): - Very quiet area. Very peaceful. Host was very friendly and helpful.
- Percy (9/5): - Location
- Anna (10/5): Perfect for a night or two - Clean, well taken care of, warm, efficient, cosy Nothing - gorgeous little one bed apartment
- Estelle (8/5): Exactly what we needed! - Clean and tidy. Comfortable. Easy check-in. Not too far from Rosslare ferry port. Directions to the property were easy to follow but a sign visible from the road would have helped finding it!

- agatazdziarska (10/5): Cant wait to come back! - We had such a lovely stay at Castle Mill Cottages. Check-in was super easy—the host sent us the code in advance.
The location is absolutely beautiful, right in the middle of the Irish countryside with endless green fields and birds all around. It felt peaceful and quiet, yet Kilmore Quay is just a 15-minute drive away, with one of the best pubs we visited during our trip.
The house itself was spacious, warm, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we loved the natural light throughout the space. There’s also convenient parking, which made things even easier.
We honestly wish we could come back already—highly recommend!
- Claire (10/5): Lovely quiet location, very relaxing - It was clean and easy to locate Could have done with a few more pots and pans
- bernadette (8/5): -
- Emerosh (6/5): Beautiful but an issue with rising damp. Could be okay in summer weather. - Beautifully restored property. Everything you would need for a few days away. Peaceful and clean. There seems to be an issue with rising damp at the property. At times, when the heating is off you can really smell it. It is an awful shame because so much work was put into decorating it and restoring it, but it needs more work to solve the damp issue.
- okoli (9/5): - Privacy Nothing
- Pawel (10/5): Realy comfy and nice property. Just the right size for two people. It had everything you would need. -
- Wendy (8/5): - Great for an overnight stay to catch the Ferry the next day, only 15 mins away. Warm and comfortable bed, great shower.
- karen (9/5): - Everything as described. Well equipped, clean, confortable And calm Nothing bad, but I would like to suggest something :
For the spring/summer season, which usually dawns quite early, they could put Black out curtains in the room, since it is a little difficult to continue sleeping with so much light.

- David (7/5): Grand stay. - Good location, photos were of the property, instructions to get in were perfect along with WiFi code. It was damp, a lot of mould inside the building, along the exposed walls, around the windows, and a lot of dust and cobwebs. No shower gel or shampoo which I felt was weird. And only half a roll of toilet paper. The water also went off at approx 2am until approx 6/7am.
- Niall (8/5): Nice place to stay. Quiet area in the countryside -
- David (8/5): -
- James (10/5): - Very clean and well appointed
Great communication

- John (6/5): Fine once we had located it and gained entry. - We Had considerable difficulty in locating the property. Satnav did not take us directly there. We had to ask directions from a local pub / restaurant. The patrons there surmised from my description and the property name where we should go. They were right, but on reaching the property there was nothing to tell us that we were there. We stumbled about in the dark and eventually identified the correct door and key box. It was difficult to see the numbers in the light of our phone and the box was very stiff to open even when the proper code was inserted.
- GRAHAM BARTHOLOMEW (9/5): Fantastic location really lovely pub close by and Local people so very helpful. Great for us on our -
- Alyssa (10/5): After a long day of walking around, this cozy cottage was a nice, warm place to wind down! - Super comfy beds There was no hand soap in the bathroom and was a little difficult to find the building
- Jossy (7/5): -
- Ronan (9/5): -
- Annette West (8/5): - It was clean and a good place to stay when getting the ferry to Wales from Rosslare. Bed was uncomfortable as was the lounge.
- Dale Shanley (10/5): Great location - would love to come back in the summer. - Perfect location to break the journey from the west of Ireland with an early sailing from Rosslare the next morning.
An unexpected bonus was that the property is a 15/20 min walk to Meyler's Millhouse where we had a warm reception, great food and a beer.
- E Kennedy (10/5): Idealic cottage getaway. - This place was finished to a high standard. The shower was amazing. Such a quiet and peaceful location. Lots to see locally. Very warm and toasty. Has everything you need. Good directions from host. Narrow gate to drive in through.
- Aryane (8/5): -
- Emerosh (8/5): Lovely quiet beautifully restored apartment for one or two people with a host who cares - Really good communication re lock box and codes and also owner was there to greet me when I arrived. The apartment is beautifully done up and also kept some of the traditional features. Very quiet and once the heat was turned on, it warmed up superbly. Great water pressure in the shower, really comfortable bed and lovely kitchen/dinner and tv/sitting area. Everything you could want for one or two people. It seems new so just small things like a bread board and tea bags and coffee not available but they really are small things, I would definitely return without hesitation.

- Michael (10/5): Cosy comfy - Cosy warm good value Leaving
- Michael (10/5): Beautiful cosy apartment - Cleanliness, comfort good value
Quiet country location not far from Rosslare.
Great shower. Entrance is tight for a van and it's on a bend.
An oven would be very useful.
- Anuja (8/5): - Enjoy the the stay in the country side! Was difficult to find the place at night. A sign board would be ideal!
+ shower gel/shampoo provided would have been great
- kostrubiec (10/5): -
- Vibha (9/5): -
- Anne (10/5): - Quiet peaceful location. Comfortable bed. Nice & cosy. Bit difficult to locate exact entrance, but lovely Alessia put us right.
- ANA (9/5): -
- Mariusz (7/5): - Both cottages interior and the fact that beds/sofas were made up/ready for us on our late arrival No internet and no signage but Google location provided took us to the place
- Lisa (9/5): Lovely stay, would definitely stay again. - The property was very clean, and tidy. Alessia the owner who we met was really lovely & friendly. Good access to internet. Quite remote. But a nice tidy little drive to the ferry only 20 mins distance. Would definitely stay again on our return. 😀 Just a bit remote. But lovely and peaceful.
- Tony (9/5): Very nice and what we needed for the night - Very cool space
Quiet area Slightly tricky to find the actual cottage but nothing too challenging
- Paul (10/5): Lovely, Quiet and Quaint cottage - We arrived late in the evening as it was getting dark, the turn into the drive was exactly as specified on the welcome message, I managed to miss it but we were spotted turning around in the neighbours' garden and then the host opened the doors for us!
Beautiful cottage with lots of amenities. Comfy bed and sofa bed. TV with all the various options was great for a quick watch before bed.
Sadly we were getting the ferry home the next day so didn't use the kitchen facilities other than the fridge.
Great value for money whether as an arrival from Rosslare or going back, or if you just want to base yourself somewhere quiet near Wexford.
If we ever travel via Wexford again, we would definitely stay again. No issues other than potentially adding a little curtain/blind to the window above the TV as it does let light in in the morning. We was awake anyway, but that is only a minor little thing
- martin (5/5): Overall disappointed - Self catered Cobwebs, poor parking facilities.
- Aifric (7/5): Good - The cottage was very quaint and pretty The sofa bed was beside the fridge
- Stan (7/5): Ideal for ferry port - The property is nicely presented and is in an ideal location for anyone using the Rosslare ferry. Unfortunately the owner does not live on site and there is no information to advise on the Wi-Fi password which is required for the tv as it doesn’t have an aerial. So there is nothing to do in the evening. Phoning the contact number went unanswered.
- Megan (8/5): Very good - Very cute cottages and nice and roomy! Very nicely renovated but I think a bit expensive for fairly basic facilities.
- Mark (9/5): Good spot for a short stay. - We stopped for one night, having just got off the ferry from Pembroke. Getting in to the flat was very straightforward and it contained everything that we needed. We made use of the sofa bed, which was very comfortable. The 11:00 departure time was a plus and it meant that we didn't have to rush in the morning.
- Jens (7/5): Quiet Location for a few Days stay in the South-East - Cosy and comfortable equipment, friendly host Toilette Flash is bad
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Cathal (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (7/5): Good -
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good -
- Andrea (7/5): Good -
- Amanda (9/5): Amazing but could be better - The place is really nice. The sofa bed is comfortable. The kitchen amenities are great. 20 mins drive to Kilmore harbour to see the puffin :) No toiletries provided. We were arriving late and not prepared about this. Lack of toilet tissue as well :( 3 people sharing not even full one roll of toilet tissue.
- Ivan (1/5): Shambles don’t even bother. - The vendor cancelled on me. Still trying to get my money back. Don’t understand why people do this and think it’s okay.
- Jacqueline (9/5): Fabulous comfortable cottage stay near Rosslare. - Great communication from Alyssia and especially as we had an unexpected late arrival due to car breakdown.
Very clean and well appointed cottage. Comfortable bed with crisp white linen and soft towels. Hot shower. We slept so well!
Great kitchen with good quality pans , crockery etc. Induction hob was amazing!
Lovely location and perfect for a short nice drive to the Rosslare ferry port. Not don’t likes but just a couple of comments: Wasn’t sure which cottage was for us- found our way by trial and error on the key pads! As we were late arriving, we were worried we might disturb / scare other residents!
A small point as we managed well, but would have liked a few more house instructions eg regarding how to use induction hob(as we don’t have one at home) and which bins for general, recycling and compost .
- Sara (9/5): Perfect, clean, well appointed and great location. - Fabulous location, perfect property and well equipped, lovely countryside and very close to the ferry port. Nothing
- Lubov (5/5): Passable - Clean bathroom
Available stove and a microwave with grill function and enough kitchen utilities.
Comfortable beds. The place is very humid and smells accordingly.
While the bathroom was very clean the windows had some small mold spots so I didn't feel like opening them, but just kept the door open for some time to get fresh air.
- Barry (8/5): Comfortable place in the country - Nice place out in the country not far from the ferry port. Comfortable with all working facilities (hob and microwave but no main oven) and a good shower,
Nice looking castle and cafe 5 min walk up the road. Eire code takes you right to the gate - better signs for the last 30 feet would be helpful.
- Katherine (6/5): Pleasant -
- Richard (9/5): Quiet, rural and good value for money - Friendly host. Quiet location. Spacious. Needs a big sign on the gate. Not easy to find. Drains were a little smelly…. Maybe because of being in the country.
- Lisa (9/5): Great spot ! - Everything we needed was there, comfortable cottage and lovely location Nothing to dislike, maybe sign at gate indicating which one to drive into as there are 2 gates at the property but that's only a minor issue
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nigel (5/5): Passable -
- Liz (9/5): Once located a lovely place to stay. - Self catering. Beautifully presented. Clean and warm though hot water limited. No name on the property to know that you were in the right place. Not everyone uses/can use a sat nav or phone to get there.
- Nicola (10/5): Therapeutic and healing - Absolutely stunning location. The pictures and description do not do it justice. The sound of the birds in the morning was beautiful Nothing
- Liz (9/5): Excellent - Breakfast not offered. Cleanliness of the property Sign on the gate with the name of the property so easier to find.
- Vitalii (9/5): Superb -
- Honor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jimenez (10/5): Comfortable - Great attention Nothing
- Maria (9/5): Lovely quiet location, spotless and well equipped accommodation. We will definitely be back - The solitude, but close to amenities. Had everything you need kitchen equipment, Wi-Fi etc. lovely location
- Jason (3/5): This is a self catering stay so be careful you tidy up before you leave and don’t dare to leave any washing up or you wi - Lateness in receiving directions very difficult location to find
Attitude of the owner
- Karen (8/5): Good for a quiet get away in the country - Out of the hustle of being in a town, quiet, peaceful. Very clean. Was a little hard to find, and for older folk a little hard to get out of the bed, being against the wall.
