The location is absolutely amazing, staff is super friendly, the room is clean and comfy, has a heater/AC and is surprisingly calm, considering that it's located right above one of Cuzco's busier streets. El desayuno era variado con frutas, quesos, etc. El hotel era silencioso y muy bien ubicado. La habitación tenía un balcón con vista a la calle. El tamaño del baño dentro de la habitación era un poco pequeño y el ventilador que extrae la humedad no funcionaba (aunque no era tan grave).

- Narin (8/5): Super verblijf en een hele fijne locatie. Alles is op loopafstand. - De locatie is erg goed en dichtbij alles. Wij hebben een kamer met balkon en het ziet er super leuk uit! Personeel zijn super vriendelijk en staat altijd klaar om je te helpen. Het is best wel gehorig en het ontbijt is niet super uitgebreid. Maar het is een klein schattig hotel dus zeker een aanrader om hier paar nachten te verblijven.

We hebben 2 nachten op rij flink last gehad van geluidsoverlast op straat ( een auto waar het alarm continu van af ging) Dit na de eerste nacht al bij de receptie kenbaar gemaakt. No box não tinha suporte para sabonete. Quarto com claraboia atrapalhando a dormir, porta com visor de vidro no qual a claridade também incomoda. Nosso quarto foi perto da cozinha, a partir de 5:30 já não dava mais pra dormir devido ao barulho.

- Julie (4/5): Just ok but probably would find somewhere else next time - The water pressure was fine and there was hot water. The bed wasn’t the worst but it was pretty hard. Staff was nice enough but I don’t think I had the same experience as others - like no asking or info given about getting to the airport, local recommendations, early morning breakfast to go for Machu Picchu or anything like that. Location is good but if there are events going on in Plaza Regocijo (like a block away), you’ll hear it. Mold in the bathrooms. There was shampoo provided and while there were little bars of soap, there was no where to put them in the shower other than the floor (so I just used the shampoo as body wash). Stains on the sheets and scabs on the thick blanket. Under the tv is a little stand that is mounted to the wall and jutting out at shoulder height so if you’re like me, you’ll walk into it at least twice. There is an area for handing clothes right by the door - I had one hanger. One. The listing says soundproofing and that couldn’t be further from the truth. You will hear (and make the same amount of noise) EVERY time someone walks around on the extremely creepy wood floors. There was also a one inch gap under the door so between that, the open area in the middle (which was nice to sit in but not when people were talking out there), and the lack of any supposed soundproofing, you’ll hear everything. Internet dropped all the time in the room (it’s better downstairs in the open lobby area) so if all you need is a bed, this works but if you need to conserve phone data or do some work in your own room, it won’t be consistent. When I first arrived, I had half a roll of toilet paper and only got my room cleaned the next day so that they would replenish it. I had two towels originally and after using one, I hung it up to use again and when they came in to clean, they took it and I was left with one (the one on the bottom directly touching the rusted rack). I skipped the included breakfast and each day, I was called or they knocked on my door to see if I was coming down for it. I understand not wanting to waste food or keeping it out for an unnecessary amount of time but I’ve never had what felt like constant pressure to eat breakfast. And finally, don’t expect to sleep past 6 am any morning. There is a skylight/window way at the top and the room lights up as if you have the lights on after sunrise.

Overall, I'd still recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice hotel close to the plaza de Armas! While the facilities were clean and comfortable, my key didn't work three times during my three night stay and I had to ask for help at the front. Also my sink leaked if I left the tap on for more than 10 seconds. The "hot food" at the breakfast was very cold one of the days I was there which was concerning.
